Really fun, decently priced. The only real issues we had were broken items in the event. It wasted a lot of our time because we werent warned about broken items. It looked as though someone actively tampered with some of the things to confuse other players. If you go I would ask if anything is broken before hand. It happened to my entire group. Great staff and decent play time.

I hate to leave a two star review but our experience was not amazing. I’ve probably done 15-20 escape rooms and this was the most frustrating and unsatisfying one. We did asylum and it wasn’t even the difficulty of the clues- but rather the fact that clues didn’t work, items in the room were broken and faded, and this room was in the dark and it was so hard to see anything which didn’t make it more exciting it was just frustrating. We only got about 60% through the room and the game master didn’t give us any nudges and gave us clues several minutes after asking for them, as if he was not paying attention to our game. I think it’s unreasonable that only 2% of teams get out of this room- the clues aren’t even obscure I think it speaks more to the quality of the room. Avoid Asylum if you want to play a good game.

Did two rooms over the weekend. Although doing them with only 2 people is impossible, the rooms were well done and a lot of fun. The staff was great as well.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The amount of detail in the room and clues really made it an awesome experience. Well worth the price and I would definitely go back and try another room. We did the insane asylum one and there are occasional things that pop out. For someone who gets scared very easily I found it moderately scary but a few of the other people I was with were not scared at all. You really have to try it yourself to judge.

Loved it / hated it. Had a blast! I will def go back again. Super hard to accomplish. Def recommend going with a group of 6 to 8. Just 3 of us wasnt enough

The was my family’s first Escape Room experience. They did a great job setting up and the host Grayson and Brooke were very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Difficult but fun.

From start to finish, our large group (of over 25 people) felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff helped our group get situated in the 3 themed rooms that they offered - which was a feat in itself since each room had different degrees of escape but we were able to get a good mix of people who have done an escape room before and those who have not in each group. Each group at the end felt like they had a lot of fun and were challenged. Out of the 3 groups, only 1 was successful but that made the win even sweeter! We are definitely coming back again to try different rooms!

Absolutely wonderful experience. If I could provide a 10+ star experience I would. My girlfriend and I have had the pleasure to communicate with the owner Corey who cares about the experience of his customers above all else. Rooms are spectacular, staff is helpful, and Corey is a flat out amazing owner who is fun to be around. We love him and his entire facility. Have completed 3/4 rooms and will be back soon! 10/10 recommend this Gainesville location, do not miss out!

Its like 35 a person for an hour so it isnt cheap. That being said it is a lot of fun. Very challenging and immersive. The asylum was super creepy. :)

They have multiple escape rooms with different themes ! I’ve been there twice and it is really fun! Staff is supper friendly and polite! It’s is a pricy activity tho, the cheapest room I believe is 20-25$/person and the other ones are 35$! All and all it is a good one hour activity for group of friends ! 6-8 people is ideal for the cheaper option and 5 people for the other rooms !

We had a great time. Pandemic was well thought out, challenging and most of all, fun! We had to work together and finally figured it out. Would definitely recommend.

The Americas Escape Game was amazing. I had an amazing time with my friends. Our brains were pushed to the max and it pushed us to work together. I definitely will be coming back. The workers there were nice and I am so ready to go back and solve some more clues.

I feel bad leaving this review but I feel that its a must so people are aware and hopefully they can adjust these downfalls. I have done about 5 escape rooms at this point so I know what to expect when doing one. When i first walked in the person at the front was super nice and I have nothing bad to say about the location or the welcoming nature of the employee. Those were the great parts about this place. Now for the downfalls. After my experience i did not feel satisfied. One of the biggest (and most annoying) aspects of the escape room was during the actual game the employee watching us would not stop talking. It got to the point where i figured a clue out loud and he said yes you got it before i even put the clue down to open the next part of the puzzle. I appreciate the encouragement but I had not asked for a hint at this point nor did I want someone confirming the clues without me even trying them. This continued throughout the experience. Another down fall and to add to the previous is that the employee watching us would randomly offer hints without us even asking for them and this got annoying because we wanted to figure thing out ourselves and not be spoon fed the answers. Lastly, I want to point out that the clues overall were very misleading and almost did not go with the theme. There is one escape room with the theme of an asylum/ hospital and there was a clue with birds on it that made no sense nor did it even go with the theme. It was super random and I felt like they included it because they ran out of puzzles to include? There was multiple times this occurred and the clues were just abstract and did not go with the theme. Also last downfall, when we started the employee put us in the room and closed the door and started the timer, without giving us a back story to the room. He later returned 30 seconds after and was like sorry Ive been doing this all day and then gave us a very quick out of order back story that made no sense. Overall not impressed and would probably not return.Update 8/21/19: The owner reached out to me and offered to refund me. They also offered my group to come in again at no expense because they mentioned that this instant was very rare and has never occurred.

Great staff and the games are super exciting! We had so much fun in the Asylum trying to solve the puzzles and definitely would go again! Justin was super nice and helped get is all ready for the game

Pandemic was too warm a room but we had fun. There was a fan that when cord got step on, it shut off, and it became a thing that it was pretty warm. We wouldnt suggest 8 people in that room esp if they cant get it cooler. Maybe 4-6 would be better. Personally we would say there was too many tedious tasks to get through to solve them all in 1 hr for our group and maybe not good for a group of beginners, but thats what we chose based on our time available to book. if they were easy people probably wouldnt want to do it.all in all it was fun for us all to try to figure out together. Alexa was a friendly attentive host.

We purposely chose Asylum, the one with the lowest success rate. We made it to the door keypad WHILE the final code was being given to us, so were counting it as a win. LOL. It was really fun and challenging, although I would suggest 6 people might be ideal, rather than 8. We were kind of tripping over each other much of the time. Excellent team-builder and ice-breaker, for sure.

This weekend was our first experience at the new Americas Escape Game in Gainesville and it was beyond AWESOME! We chose the Pandemic room and it did not disappoint. It was exciting, challenging and oh so fun! The rooms decor was on point and the staff was fabulous. Cant wait to try our next room.

Fun time. Recommend groups of 6. That seemed like a good number for us. Groups larger than that probably start getting in each others way.

As of today, the four of us have done 18 escape rooms across the state of Florida. From Orlando to Jacksonville to Tampa, the room we did today was our FAVORITE! Crisis to 1600 was difficult, exciting, team-building and overall an awesome experience. Easy parking and awesome restaurants/lots of things to do nearby. Patrick and the Staff at America’s Escape Game were absolutely wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. The rooms decor was spectacular and VERY well done. Our game master was a helpful eye in the sky. There were new twists and turns that we hadn’t experienced and we were THRILLED. We will be back with family and friends. Can’t wait to try another room!

I was a guest for someones birthday party escape game. But I actually loved this! We almost beat the Asylum room. I wont spoil anything, but let me just say, compared to another escape room Ive been to, these guys are top notch. Their sound effects, decoration, lighting effects, physical effects all nail the aesthetic and really get you wrapped up in the theme of the room. The puzzles are more complex because they involve more than just coming up with an answer in your head, and it keeps you engaged and rushing to beat the time limit. Plus they give student discounts, so I will DEFINITELY be back!

We had a great time trying to escape Asylum. Everyone was so friendly and the staff prepared our brains with riddles before we entered our room. What a fun and memorable experience. Can’t wait to try a new room!

My friends and I did the Pandemic room and it was very challenging. We had an amazing time working as a team and WE ESCAPED!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

I’m usually not a person to complain but this wasn’t at all a fun experience I’ve done a lot of escape rooms and this one was very bland and boring as well as hot in the room. My friends and I came to a 10:20 room for Pandemic and we called them to let them know we were running a little late we got there at 10:23 and signed the waivers real quick and use the bathrooms we started around 10:30 and we got in the when we got in there we didn’t have the tv on with our timer at all but we didn’t think about it and we started the room as we got into it the guy told us we had 15 mins left as he told us that we were kinda confused about it cause it didn’t feel like it’s already been 45 mins and we looked my friend’s watch and it was only 30 mins and we were actually shortened 15 mins which I understand we ran a little late but I spent about 150 dollars on this and I feel like I was kinda ripped off and makes me not wanna go back at all to be honest

Awful service tried to do a walk-in while i was in town and they told me i couldn’t because “the room wasn’t reset” as a game master my self that is AWFUL. Hated my experience there would not recommend such a lazy escape room you can find much better in the area.

This place was sooo much fun. I loved the teamwork it required and the interactive environment created. I went with my husband and another couple and we escaped! It was great!

Part of the game broke that was needed to progress, kinda sat there for 6-7 minutes because the staff thought we were just trying to figure it out when in reality the information we needed wasn’t being displayed when it should have been (left in somewhat vague terms in case you go yourselves)
