This is the smaller of the two gyms at the University of Florida. However, this location is much more convenient than the other bigger gym for most students. If youre coming from off campus you might just want to go to Southwest though as parking here is almost impossible

Top notch facility, just wish there was a pool.

Its a gym, not much more to add...But its only for students, so to all the old people I see that are there... good for you.

Much smaller than Southwest Rec but still plenty for me. People are friendly, but theres no music playing like in SW Rec. Bring your own earbuds. Gymgoers keep to themselves. You can play basketball (1 full court); there are racquetball rooms for various sports. Small weight room but still gets the job done. Functional room with pull-up/TRX, dumbbells, yoga mats, etc. You can still get a great workout here no matter your taste.

Love the rec center! It has everything one would ever need for a decent workout, does get packed sometimes, but then again, what gym doesnt?

Racquet courts are the best here. Very convenient, but definitely make sure you reserve before you go...it’s always busy.

Great Equipment and staff. The gym is truly amazing. However I wished that it included amenities like a sauna or steam room. The Shower could be better too.

Easy access gym on campus, though going at popular times makes it hard to get the weights/machines you need.

Its okay when the basketball court isnt being used for things like PING PONG and cheer leading like move that somewhere else! Go to an empty room or something. Its trash and I try to ball every day and its always something

Lots of cardio machines, not a lot of bench, squat, or free weight selection, but as long as youre there when its not busy, youll be good to go!
