Great gem of a park. Awesome natural playground area, and also a small, modern kids playground. A catch and release pond with public restrooms nearby. There is a baseball field and other large flat grass fields for activities.

Great family park with excellent walking trails and creek access. The outdoor nature playground is excellent for kids of all ages!

The playground at this park is perfect for any Ninja Warrior enthusiasts. Nice shelter/picnic area near a fishing pond with cute dirt trails that weave into the woods. Definitely bring mosquito repellent! Good pokemon go spot too!

I’m from MA and googled searched parks and found this place. Super nice for walks and hikes. It has an area for picnics, kids, basketball court, fountain, and several trails.

Such a great park to walk dogs at. They have multiple paths that lead to all parts of Gahanna, including creekside and Academy Park. The kids play areas are nice, and there is a shelter for family outings!

Its been years since Ive been until recently, the boot camp addition is amazing and the park is still beautiful with a decent playground area and long walking trails that connect to another park, my only reason for not 5 stars is the severe lack of parking especially during little league baseball season.

The construction of the new wilderness styles playground is good ol fashioned outdoor fun. There is also the availability of the traditional playground equipped with swings, slides, and a jungle gym.

Great park: lots of space, great pond, kids playground, fishing, mature trees, plenty of parking. Restrooms closed because of CoVid19.

This is the closest park to the house where I grew up and it is still well maintained and a great place for families.The walking trail is very nice in the summer and connects to Academy Park. The playground was built as a memorial to a sweet little girl I used to babysit who died of cancer, and its nice to know that her memory lives on in a place where children can laugh and play. There is a very large rock with a plaque and for some reason my son just loves to climb onto the top of it.

Fun, kid friendly, and safe, the place has beautiful walking paths, the girl scouts even though a very nice playground there theres a lots of fun, theres even a good working bathrooms!

Beautiful park, restrooms were clean and conveniently located, but limited parking. Apparently, baseball diamond is reserved separate from the shelter because there was a softball tournament scheduled the same day of our picnic. Thus, parking was very limited. Otherwise, everyone had a wonderful time. The picnic was a success!

Nice little park, great place to drop kayaks.

Very nice and clean, was there for church picnic, parking could be a litter more convenience had handicap people and a blind lady. Have to bring own barbecue grills. There are real fish in pond, you can fish but you cant take the fish out the pond.

Cute little park tucked away in Gahanna! Indoor restrooms! Two playgrounds. One regular metal and plastic and the other is made of reclaimed logs and ropes. Very fun place for kids to climb around. There is also a scenic catch and release fishing pond with walking trails around the park.

My first time here and it was a very nice park. We were here for baseball but there were nice playgrounds and a big place to fish if you wanted. Very clean, nicely set up park

Absolutely one of the best parks I have been to. The best part was they had bathrooms. There are two different Parks for the kiddos, a shelter area, fishing, Trails, a baseball pit, open field area, several trees for shade. I will definitely come back to the park. My kids had fun. Great inexpensive outing.

Great park with a natural play area and a playground. Pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms close by. Nice pond for catch and release fishing also a walking/bike trail. Entry to river for swimming or launching a canoe/kayak. This is the best hidden park IMO!

Decent parking size, has 2 baseball fields, a basketball court, 2 playgrounds, and a public restroom. Very clean, nice place to fish in the pond, go for a walk/run on the path, or just relax and enjoy nature.

Nice park, can get crowded when its nice out. Only one trail really, connects with Academy Park on Cherry bottom Rd where the sports fields are. There is a pond (can fish I believe) and a decent sized stream so be mindful when bringing small children to the playground.

I was just on the Gahanna bike paths...hoping that they can fully connect with the Big Walnut Trail

We put our Kayaks in here for a paddle down through Creekside and on to Pizzuro park. This park has a pond you can fish in, baseball diamonds, basketball courts and nice trails through the woods.

This park may be a bit hidden, but definitely worth finding! It has a pond, shelter, bathrooms paths through the woods and a place to put a canoe in the water. Theyre also building a nice looking natural playground. Beautiful!

I really enjoyed this park, my son and I went kayaking on the creek...was a little hard to get back upstream but we made it. I posted some photos I took from the water. Later he played in the playground with some kids while other people fished in the lake. Very nice place.

Nice park for walking and biking

Always a great park to meet up with family or friends. The shelter is well kept with lots of seating, its fun to fish in the pond, it has a great playground, baseball fields and a basketball court. Woodside also connects to other gahanna parks through a walking/biking trail. Only downside is when it fills up, finding a parking spot is difficult.

Gahanna Parks Department puts not only capital into their parks, but also a labor of love. Rarely is there any trash or anything out of place.

Paved trail, half in the woods, half in the open (manicured lawn). Playground seems nice. Heated bathrooms. The path goes along the river for a bit, so you might see or hear waterfowl or kingfishers. Its small (maybe a mile), but its a loop, so you could keep walking if you want to put in a few miles.

The new natural play area at Woodside Green is a lot of fun! Its not a huge area, but there are a lot of fun activities for kids, with things to climb, run thru, and build with. There is also a small tic-tac-toe with rocks area, and some houses to play pretend in. A little muddy, but not nearly as bad as i was afraid it would be. A fun stop!

Well maintained walking and bike trails. You can forest bath to sooth your soul in peaceful atmosphere there.

This is a great park .its very well hidden .in a community in Gahanna ohio. You can take your dogs ,kids, and also do some fishing. Love this park !

Beautiful park and nice trails. Big problem is a group of men who come early a lot of mornings with their huge dogs which they allow to run loose, which is against park rules. Their dogs weighing about 70 lbs or more jump all over your dog, run at you and jump on you. I have asked them nicely. Once Ive gotten angry when a huge lab jumped paws first hitting me in a sensitive area. They seem to feel very entitled and treat the park as theirs when they come. Other than them, the park is great. Sad that a few people can ruin a public park.

Woodside Green isnt a fancy park, but it has a lot of open space for running around, and it has a small pond you can fish in. Be careful with small children, as they could fall into the pond, but its a nice place to spend some time away from electronic devices and get some fresh air.

Great little park with plenty to do. Has a basketball court, a pong to fish in, a paved path that circles the perimeter, a baseball field, playground, a giant open field to play fetch with your dog or to just relax in, and plenty of trees for more obscure hobbies like slacklining.

Had lots of fun on the new nature play area, sorry I knocked over the bamboo tippee, and we love throwing rocks in the river.
