I just started golfing again after having not played for probably 15+ years and have been to many courses in the northern VA area in the last year. This course is hands down the most gorgeous and challenging course Ive ever played in the best way possible. Beautiful rolling hills, tough greens, and a large variety of unique holes. Will definitely be returning, especially with such a modest cost to play!

Great and challenging. Front 9 alot of woods back alot of water watch out for 10 an 18 your eyes can be deceiving. Even with a range finder Ill definitely be back.

Good for the price I guess. Course in decent condition, not great. Holes are packed pretty tight, lots of overlap of people playing on your fairway. I live in the DC area and it’s not worth the hour plus drive out.

Great course. We did three days and had a nice time. I took issue with some maintenance and grounds work, but the course itself is excellent and enjoyable to play. The staff was very good and very helpful.

Course was very fun to play with dramatic elevation change throughout.

Most fun I’ve had on a golf course in a very long time. Great conditions, amazing layout, great staff and nice over all vibe to the club. Can’t wait to return!

Played years ago on this diverse (hilly) property when course had gone downhill, but just started coming back. Pics since that visit so great improvement. Excited to give it another go the next time we are in town! You should do the same and update with some photos of the current product!

This place is a little far for me living near DC most of the time. Went for a second time in so many years on Memorial Day. A group of 8 played 36 morning and afternoon. Course was in great condition. After I left my brand new Garmin there the thought of a 3 hour round trip to pick it up was dreadful. BUT they mailed it to me! So awesome! They went above and beyond when they didn’t really have to. Definitely going back to play again this year.

One of the more challenging golf courses in the area. The fairways are rarely level so be sure you practice your golf swings with the ball above or below your feet. If the greens are running fast, par is a great score. All in all, this is a great course to see where your golf game is at!

Just played 3 rounds here in 2 days.Beautiful course.The staff were all very friendly.Helped us out all 3 rounds so we werent stuck behind foursomes since we were a twosome.Beautiful greens,challenging holes, elevation changes.Highly recommend it.

Course was only in ok condition plus had lots of houses. Nice elevated greens.

Great track, short but super challenging.

$75 for Sunday morning is not worth it. Cart path is tore up, greens are half air rated, fairways tore up...Just not worth the money. Go play Bull Run or Raspberry for that money.

Great golf course that is so beautiful on the eyes.

The Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Course Club House hosted a surprise birthday for our family. They did a wonderful job. Great venue. They did a great job with the catering too. Very well done!And from what I could see the golf course looked beautiful.

Played this course 2007 shortly after it opened, I knew at that time it would be worth the 200 plus miles to play it again, have to say it is worth the play,the course has come a long way, tee to greens course is in great shape.Would highly recommend playing, its a gem!

Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club is home to a well-rated and always popular golf course. The tree-lined and open parkland layout offers many pleasant views as it meanders through hardwood forests, with split fairways, double greens and elevation changes along the way, and a spectacular waterfall to finish. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Great lay out and well maintained given the time of the year, almost December. The greens are challenging and well kept fairway with. Peaceful hilly scenery

Awesome facility

The course is amazing. However, service has started to slip recently. They have gotten rid of the military rate. It is a bit overpriced for the area (~$70). The past two times I have been there, have resulted in issues. They ran out of carts so I had to wait about an hour for a cart. They gave a regular who had a later tee time a cart while I waited. Then I set up a tee time in the morning. The guy on the phone said they were having a military rate for the week. I drive 30 minutes to the course to find out the rate is only for the afternoon. The guy just said sorry. I think Ill be golfing Bowling Green from now on. Or maybe Ill drive a little bit longer for a better course.

Nothing like some mild racism to let you know that your in Virginia. For some reason the starter felt compleld to spend 5-10 minutes before our round explaining the 90 degree rule. I could not believe it. The course was OK, I was in the area to attend a wedding. I do not recommend playing this course.

This course has the potential to be a 5 star course. The design and layout is awesome. However, it is sad to something with so much promise being neglected like a Ferrari left out in a pasture. Played the course on July 17th, 2016. The traps were overgrown with grass and weeds. The rough was nothing but clover and the grass in the fairways was more like a first cut. The greens were very very nice however. Just one or two gallons of weed be gone could fix some of the problems. The only staff we saw was guy in the proshop, the lady behind the bar, and the starter. Their web site states the weekend rates are $69 but this course is only worth $45 at most. Very sad.

Course has gone down hill. Traps full of weeds debris all over. Bowling Green and Shenandoah put it to shame. Terrible course to be in such a nice setting.

Fun golf course with friendly staff. Good quality for what you pay.
