We love it here. My son takes private lessons, does the group camps and uses the batting cages. Great coaches and a nice facility.

Went on a Tuesday morning and the place was wide open and was able to just hit. Each hitting session costs about $1 and you get around 10 balls. I thought the pace of balls coming out was a little quick so definitely bring a buddy or two.

I think this place is great. the machines dont throw it down the heart of the plate every single time and i like that because it simulates a live pitcher. I do however think the time between pitches is too short. this is my only flaw on this place. clean, updated facility, friendly experienced staff! will be going back consistently

I love this place because they people that help you get better in hitting and pitching really teach you something. Every time I have gone there I learned something new and this year and last year I have hit two home tins because of the training and won the championship for my team bye pitching. I think you should go and you will enjoy it.

I just went today, and I did not have a good time, and yet Im going to give this place 5 stars. The fact that I didnt have a good time was my own fault.Im a softball player looking to make my high school team, and I came here to get some practice in during the summer, since softball is not until spring (for my school district). I thought it would be good to come here so that when try out day comes, I wont be really rusty.D-BAT is a really cool place. The walk in area where you get your card and points you use to be able to bat, its a mini store that sells bats (baseball and softball), gloves, batting helmets, batting gloves, and t-shirts. Then once you get your card, you walk into the facility to where there is this mini field (where they give lessons on fielding and such), and then there are the batting cages.Since this was my first time coming to a batting cage, I didnt know to bring a bat or batting gloves, so I just borrowed one from the rack of bats they offered. The pitching machine gives both good and bad balls, which is understandable, since it gives you the opportunity to swing at good balls, and not swing at bad balls. However, since it gives you wild pitches, I think that they should allow the pitching machine to pitch you more balls each round, but then again, each round is only a dollar and 50 cents, so I guess thats good enough for a cheap price. The bad thing is that after the machine runs out of balls, you have to pick them up, put it in the bucket, dump it into the machine yourself, and then start again. So, I recommend this place for people who actually play the sport, and are looking to come here to practice. If you are looking for a facility to just come and bat for the fun of it, I would consider other options because its not fun having to collect the balls and then keep on putting them back. Id come here if you are serious about it and dont mind the extra little work.If there is something I learned from coming here, it is that you need to bring your own bat and batting gloves. If you dont, then youll have to borrow a bat from them, and they dont offer batting gloves, so your hands will hurt while batting... trust me.

Great place to get some hits in. Its air conditioned so thats a big plus. Staff is always friendly, but it does get really busy. I wish there was more automatic pitch cages available.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We were in there recently hoping to find my son a new bat. There was a middle-aged man (owner? trainer?) and a younger blonde female behind the desk. Neither greeted us, or even acknowledged our presence (and no, it wasnt busy...we were the only ones in there). We began looking at the bats, trying to find one that worked for our son, had him swing, etc. We were in there a solid 15 minutes, all the while the two employees were chatting away about personal topics.Maybe we didnt look important enough greet with a hello or a smile, or perhaps their personal conversation was too important to pause and ask if we needed any assistance (clearly we did after aimlessly trying every bay they had several times). We couldve interrupted and asked for help, but really the total lack of customer service from the moment we walked in throughout the time we spent right in front of them only to be ignored was enough to make us want to take our business elsewhere.Weve used the cages here a few times in the past as well, and experienced the same snobbish customer service then as well, but it was only for a brief moment while paying before heading back to the cages so we never thought much of it. Weve since discovered My Batters Box in Prosper for cages, and WOW they are great! It may not be the nice, new, shiny facility that D-Bat has, but the warm friendly service at the more modest facility is more than worth the extra drive time.

We have been going to Dbats for almost two years. I find the staff(Kyle) is incredibly nice and professional. We highly recommend Keaten for lessons in Pitching. He has shown our boys the correct form and technique in hitting and pitching. With his upbeat personality and excitement in baseball, it has given my boys the excitement they need to become better ball players and young men. Thank you.

We took my son to one lesson prior to baseball tryouts. When my son tried out for the team, the coach asked us what we did because he looked so much better. He made the team!!! We told him one lesson at D Bat. We plan to do more for sure!

1st. you spend your first 5-10 minutes there picking up the balls the person before you left on the ground. 2nd, the machines dont work very well. When they do work, they throw wild pitches, takes about 4 pitches to somewhat get the aim right from the up down buttons they have and it resets each go around. Which means you waist your first 4 pitches each go tweaking it. If you let the staff know their machines arent working, say... just using your token and not working, or only throwing 2 pitches and quitting, they dont believe you. The last time I went in I used up a 10 token card (should be 150 pitches) in about 5 minutes and only got to bat maybe 30 pitches. Again, I let the staff know, they didnt care. Told me theyd add some credits to my card. They gave me one. Told them Id like to cancel my membership, they said theyd need an email from me for them to cancel. They didnt ask why, didnt try to help at all. Waist of money, Im looking elsewhere as we speak.:::: Update::::: I have actually found a good place. its in Prosper called My Batters Box, right off Preston past 380. It has my vote at least. Check it out if you have had problems with others.

Ill have to agree with another reviewer of this place. Having been there myself the machines pitch very wild. Mostly high (head level) and Im not short either (6 ft). I was batting for slow pitch softball and this machine in no way helps. And yes, lots of time is wasted collecting your balls and dumping them into the machine rather than some batting cages that are sloped and auto collect balls for you.Lastly I wouldnt give this place 2 stars like google wants to give. Id give it 1 most but apparently theres no review picks for less than Poor - Fair.

First time ever being in an indoor cage after being involved in baseball for 25+ years, and couldnt imagine doing anything else. Have to shag your own balls, but definitely better than having to bat in an outdoor cage.

Disappointed with DBat Frisco. This was the second batting lesson on a Saturday morning where the instructor was a no-show. No management was on premises and they had no desire to speak with the customer. If you are looking for professional courtesy, look elsewhere.
