I can see that some of the instructors here like what they do, and are enthusiastic and encouraging. But Ashley is pretty sullen and it’s fairly obvious given the monotonous tone and blank face, that she’s annoyed by the kids. It’s unfortunate. I don’t think people who don’t like children should be teaching them in any format.

Wonderful facilities

Our son participated with this swim club for a for about 6 months, September of 2017 through February of 2018. The club bills on a quarterly basis, so we were charged for 9 months - August of 2017 through April of 2018. We attempted to have the billing person wave or prorate the last quarter for which we were billed because our son only attended 2 or 3 evenings out of a possible 65 or so. The billing person was steadfast in her refusal to even consider this. I assume she has been faced with situation before, given her demeanor. I find their billing practices ridiculous. Unfortunately, it is easier to just pay them than it is to get them to see reason.This club makes a concerted effort to get parents to volunteer as much as possible. Parental involvement is great, but if you do not have time or are not comfortable with doing this, then this club might not be right for you.This club also has a list of equipment every swimmer is encouraged to purchase. Swim Suits West is heavily promoted. The club makes it seem as if this is the only place that your swimmer can purchase his/her gear. The same equipment is available elsewhere and for cheaper. We personally were able to find anything needed through Amazon.Our son was fortunate to have an engaged and attentive college swimmer for a coach for the sessions that he could make. In this regard, his experience was fine and appreciated.Given the sum total of our experience, I would have a difficult time recommending Clovis Swim Club.

Thank goodness it was only $50 for 6 sessions but what a waste.

Clovis North has a beautiful, large pool with fantastic viewing and its the most comfortable weve ever been as spectators at a swim meet.
