This place was very cool.This is such a beautiful place to visit especially for Photographers. I love coming here and bringing my friends. I enjoy showing off the amazing view but I observed some area that break my mood.

Not many people know this park so its lonely most the time with exception of lunch hour when most people from nearby offices come. There is an opening with a trail going down to where you can take a walk or even do some fishing.

Ive been going to this place for like 20 years and I love it it got variety of fish and different ponds in river that you could fish from and its very relaxing every time I go there my place of escape.

Its a simple park with picnic tables and an outstanding view of the San joaquim river...

If you want to be somewhere quiet just to relax for a bit, this can be the place. Not very busy around here. The lookout has quite some shade and its nice to just sit and relax.

One of my favorite spots in Fresno to watch the sunset. Theres a small opening in the metal fence to the left past the first bench and it takes you on a gorgeous short hike with a great view of the sunset overlooking our mountain ranges.

Its great a place, but unfortunately its confusing to get to it. You literally have to walk off road down the hill to get nearby the lakes

My first time out at spano park but I had a great time Ill be going again.

A hidden gem looking out from the Palm Bluffs. Small in size but giant in viewing the San Joaquin River. You can see Valley Childrens Hospital on the other bank. I enjoyed watching all kinds of birds flying near the river. Excited to plan a trip to walk down along the river and see more of the San Joaquin River Parkway.

Didnt have access to the area the gps made it difficult to locate location. In the areas I travel through to get to the park was very filthy and dirty with debris and garbage. I personally didnt feel safe to park the car and walk down to the park.

The Ambiance is Lovely

It has a gorgeous view and lots of trails to walk. There were also some awesome bird watching and cute little gophers in the main park.

Nice quiet and peaceful....

Its more of a dog walking park, or place people who work at local businesses and office buildings to sit and eat on their lunch. There are a few vagrants I have seen coming through a tear in the fence line. Other than that, its clean and plenty of space for kids/dogs to run around. No play structure, slides or swings. Just a nice view, big grassy area, and quite a few benches. I only stop by while the kids and I are waiting for my wife to get out of work.

Pretty clean, visible trails to follow by the river.

Its clean for the most part, however it is a small walk away from the San Joaquin River and has a few tables.

Nice place for a picnic. Has a fantastic view of san jouaquin river. You can see all the fishing spots and bike trails from the park.

Had a awesome day fishing and I didnt even get a bit. Cant wait to go back.

Very nice park. Its a hidden gem in fresno n Madera county. Its a must see.

Does anyone know if we can park any where? Its my first time here and there are signs saying no stopping 9pm to 6pm.

Good little ponds .. it was clean no trash.. we didnt catch anything but we did have a good afternoon. Will be back and try the other ponds near by.

A really great place to watch birds, especially hawks and waterfowl. This is a really underrated area. City of Fresno just needs to stop messing around and develop some river access in this area so people dont need to go through a hole in the fence to get down there.

Turn right on Palm street to get there the navigation made us turn into River Bluff parking lot.

Wish there was a bette entrance. The only I saw was very steep. My kids were scared going down and up. They want to come again though. There are some nice fishing holes.

Nice park for views of the bluffs. Bring binoculars if you have them. No shaded area to park in. No bathrooms or facilities. A drinking fountain, grass and 4 picnic tables. Only a few spots of shaded grass from trees on the perimeter. Had fun watching the bees on the flowers outside the fence on the bluff side. Handicap accessible with concrete walkway around the entire small park.

This place is a great place for the community to come down in fish for bass crappie catfish among many other species of fish its one of Fresnos hidden gems get away from the city in the city

This park has a beautiful view of the San Joaquin River, which elsewhere in town is monopolized by private residences. A small park by any standard, it has no features to speak of, aside from picnic benches and possibly a drinking fountain. However, the view makes it worth the visit. A nice spot for casual bird watching as well.
