For a highly played muni course, its in solid shape, and price is great. Fun lil course. Not super challenging, but presents some interesting shots if you spray the ball. Tee boxes need just a lil maintenance, but thats just me being picky. Well done guys.

Good for the money. Usually not too busy later in the afternoons and great place for new golfers learning the game. Very casual.

Reasonable rates. Close to my home. Course in pretty good shape. Greens in good shape. Staff very friendly and helpful. You will use all clubs in your bag. Good test of golf. Would recommend to everyone.

Classic Fresno course. Be playing it off and on for over 35 years. The greens were really fast this last round. High quality.

Super relaxed! Really nice in the evening. The twilight price was really good. Plus it was a lot of fun watching the planes takoff while playing 18.

The fairways and greens are in great shape. A lot of work has been done to improve this course. However, the green fees are outrageous. We paid $63.85 for two Seniors which included a fee for using a credit card. Very disappointed.

Not the fanciest or most plush course in the area. But affordable by almost anyones standards. Ive been coming here for 39 years and i still enjoy the occasional round. 2 nice little practice greens, but only a net; no range. Fairways are tight and the place could use more water. Greens are small, but roll nicely considering the amount of public play. Most holes are short. Nice cafe with a grill and really friendly staff. Great for twilight rounds and a very very walkable course.

Course is in good shape considering its summertime and I think they are on a water allocation schedule. Greens were true and its a fun course for the price.

Airways is a fun course, but be wary of there constantly changing prices... got double charged for a cart because of the rona, and my brother was riding with me.. that was lame.. but otherwise, as long as an airplane or chopper overhead doesnt mess with your back swing, go have some fun... lol

Course has made an amazing transition into the positive direction! The staff is top notch and the greens are superb. Tye Gold revolution deal is a total steal and the kitchen has become stellar with great service and quality foods. Definitely have the tri tip when they cook it! I always get my Mando Fries loaded!! We play almost weekly and sometimes multiple times. Love you Airways and keep it FLYIN HIGH!!!

As a regular area golfer I feel compelled to offer the view the current state of the golf course as of mid Jan 2020. First off the greens are in dismal shape. They have gone from the best in the area to probably the worst. I am curious if there has been a change of greens keepers or if it’s a Monetary reason. This change has occurred over the last 6 month. Also, this course has gone the wrong direction on several levels. The prisms that used to be on the flagsticks are slowly disappearing from the entire course. These are vital for lower end rangefinders to function. Ball washers used to be on each tee box, but now about half or more have disappeared for some reason. Hole locations and tee boxes are not moved in weeks which leads to difficulty finding a decent place to find a stance on many par 3s and completely rounded out edges of the cups (only exacerbated by the fact many now leave the stick in the hole which leads to more damage to the cup rim.). management at the course doesn’t not seem to care as emails are not returned unless they are sent multiple times and when they are returned it’s a “thanks for your input”... yet nothing changes. I will add another report here if things change for the better, otherwise things are trending way down at Airways.

Had a great time. Its been years since I had played there. Mike the pro there greeted us and was very helpful. The course was in great shape with amazing greens. For sure I will be back soon .

Well maintained during difficult times

The course is great for players who want to play for a reasonable cost. Its relatively short, but can still be challenging. The staff is working to improve the playing conditions and its beginning to show, especially on the fairways. If you havent played there in a couple years, youre probably in for a pleasant surprise. Ive always found the staff friendly and accommodating.

I just got back into golf and have played here several times. I love this course especially since it looks like it has new management. Course is very well priced, fairways were ok to good and greens were excellent. I always feel welcomed when I played here, overall everything is very good.

Really a great round of golf for the price. Hazards are intersecting fairways and potential felony charges if you hit your ball into the airport. Hard to lose a ball though.

Good short full-length course. Good sand traps, no water. You can play it in about 3 hours if you dont have a big backlog in front of you. Charles and I played it in 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Airways is a municipal course adjacent to the Fresno Yosemite International Airport. The green fees are less than $25 to walk. The fairways are spotty at best, but a new well has just been drilled and a new irrigation plan is in the works. This will hopefully make the fairways nice and plush. The greens, however, are in excellent condition. Id guess theyre about a 9 on the stimp after the morning dew has evaporated. Its a short course where a 230-250 yard drive off the tee on most part 4s will put a short iron or wedge in your hand for a shot at the green.Lots of trees keep things interesting if your drive goes astray. No water or fairway bunkers in play at this course. Plenty of greenside bunkers protect most greens.Overall a fun, short par 69 course with minimal penalties for errant shots, mediocre fairways (for now) and excellent, true greens.UPDATE 11/15/20Fairways are now 95% nice grass. The additional water well has made a drastic difference. But MOST of all, the greens are now AMAZING. 11+ and rolling true. Dont tell anyone, but Airways now has the best greens on any public course in Fresno.

A wide-open, fun course to play with friends. Can get slow at times and not in the best shape in warm months, but to with an open mind and just enjoy the day.

The greens are ok but the rest of the course sucks! Too much dead grass, lumpy fairways, crevices that lead to bad lies to bad shots. The plus side is cheap prices on golfnow, food decent. Pro shop is ok and staff are mostly friendly.

Warning **** Airways has changed management and they are charging like the nicer courses in Fresno. $36 for midweek is outrageous for this level of course.
