We have Suzanne for violin sessions. She is professional, patient and works with my child at his pace. She is extremely talented, with 30 years of experience. She has such a positive attitude and keeps the lessons upbeat and fun. We appreciate her so much and very happy to have her as our teacher!Thank you!!!

My daughter began taking piano lessons with Norene in June and it’s been a great experience! Due to Covid all the lessons have been over Zoom. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well the Zoom lessons have gone and how much my daughter is learning and loving it. My 10 year old looks forward to her lesson times with Norene who is always kind, patient, and a really great teacher. I’m very pleased with her progress so far. The office staff is also very helpful and professional every time I have a question. I would highly recommend FMAA to everyone.

I feel so lucky to have found FMAA - the staff are super friendly, their operations are professional and well-managed, and they offer a wonderful range of musical training. I took beginner violin lessons with Suzanne and now am taking more advanced voice lessons (over Zoom) with Denise. Both instructors brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to their teaching, and have been incredible to work with! I am excited to continue honing my voice technique with Denise - after a few months of working with her I can tell Im already making huge strides, and were even working on composing songs. Fresno Music Academy and Arts is very accommodating through Zoom lessons to in person lessons. My duaghter really enjoys her voice lessons and look forward to her lessons every week.

I love Fresno music academy, my son has been in lessons in February so most of his learning now has been via Zoom which is a bit of a struggle but the staff at FMA made the transition easy. His piano teacher Ashley is very good with him, he’s excelling at such a fast pace I couldn’t be more proud. If I ever have to change lesson time or even add a new lesson Anthony is so quick to respond! If you’re considering FMA, don’t hesitate it is such a welcoming place and the people there are all amazing.

We thought with the pandemic it would be hard to carry on with virtual lessons, but it has been great. The staff have been great, they respond very quickly and well my daughter loves it.

We have had the pleasure of listening to our child play, enjoy, and progress with the violin at Fresno Music Academy & Arts. The instruction she has received is extraordinary. This music academy makes every child feel welcome, gives them a voice through music, and above all else supports the value of art as a means to make a community. We have been thrilled with our experience of just over one year, and plan to make the academy a continued place where our children can experience fantastic musical instruction.

Our son studies drumming with Dave. He is great and the office is always quick to respond with any matter.

My two girls come here for their music lessons, one for piano and one for guitar. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful, they do whatever they can to work with your schedule. The teachers are fabulous. Both of my girls are happy and are learning new music each week.

I am just starting vocal lessons at 31 years old, and I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Debbie D. I feel like she is quite knowledgeable about the mechanics of singing, as well as nurturing, positive, and helpful in overcoming my singing stage fright with her enthusiasm. Everyone has been very nice when Ive gone, and it has a beautifully decorated interior and surprisingly calm atmosphere that lends itself to being homey and inviting.

Great vocal instruction over the last 5 years from several vocal teachers. Along with Hearts on Fire, Fresnos only rock n roll choir which is part of Fresno Music Academy & Arts, the experience has really upped my performance game.

So far Ive only done the intro lesson to vocals but the instructor deb is such a sweet heart, if youre worried or nervous about singing infront of people, she cures that nervous energy immidiately and is such a passionate person. The people I met at the front desk were super nice too.

I had my first music lessons as a 26 year old! They made it so comfortable. I have only positive things to say about this place. I feel like I have learned so much over the past year of guitar and voice lessons.

A vibe, really good place

Our daughter loves going to piano lessons with Larry. He is very patient and makes things fun for her. We will be pursuing other classes through Fresno Music Academy & Arts as well!

This place is all around... phenomenal! They are incredibly inclusive and very helpful with the little kiddos. We are a food allergy family and they make sure the kids wash hands before lessons and food is not allowed in classroom. They came up with these guidelines after meeting us and enrolling. It just showed me how they go above and beyond for each student and really care. My little one has learned so much too. They teach music theory, not just singing songs. Suzanne and Rebecca are her instructors and i cant say enough wonderful things about them. They are so incredibly kind, patient and interactive with the kids. Im so happy we found this place! I highly recommend them for your music needs.
