An interesting place. Spectrum is entirely supported and run by its members. The gallery displays only photographs; mostly landscapes, some wildlife and travel. The main space changes each month to feature work of one (sometimes more) photographer. A smaller space in the gallery has photos from members.

Theyre very friendlyand they explain everything to you to give you a better understanding of the gallery. They show youaround the place and talk about the photos. They also give you a list that contain the photos name and photographer which helpsyou a lot if youre doing a project for a photo class. ️

Wonderful and uniquely crafted monthly specials

There is only one art gallery that does nothing but photography in the entire area from Sacramento to LA. Theyve been doing it at Spectrum for a very long time. And they do it with style and class. Its a co-op gallery supported by member dues and sales of prints. The prices are quite reasonable, especially by major metropolitan standards.Parking in the Tower District can be a challenge.Next to the gallery is a world class Italian Deli, and next to that is a nice locally owned coffee shop with lots of space for lounging both indoor or out.Shows change every month, so check it out. First Thursday of the month is Fresno Art Hop night, and Spectrum is always hopping with a lot of viewers.
