My kids loved Storyland. You need to purchase a ‘key’ if you want to listen to stories in display. The stories are narrated in English and Spanish. We spent about 2 hours here exploring.

This was a fantastic day of funThe kids LOVED it. Its small enough you can see the whole place to watch the kids have fun and they have lots of places for the adults to sit and enjoy watching all the excitement. The staff treated us like family and the food was great. What wonderful memories we made.

Had a great party for 10 guests at the castle! Paper products all included! Assistance with set up and Take down. One reserved parking spot all guest received a key and my daughter received a yellow “gold” key and a book. Everyone got to take a ride on the train. We brought in our own food, but they do offer to have pizza, as well as a character visit. It was a perfect day!

Storyland is so cute. If you are expecting Disneyland, dont go. It is small and you can do the entire park in about 4 hours if the lines are not long. They have older kiddie rides and figures of dinosaurs that are just adorable. The prices are reasonable and parking is easy. It has been refreshed, but still an older type park with typical fair type rides. But is is fun, your kids (3-8) will love it. If you are in town go there. You will like it.

Me and my family which is my wife and two kids son and daughter, when during the summer and we paid for the whole thing plus the storybook key. We had a wonderful time the place has tons of nostalgic from adults memories areas. But honestly you need to have some imagination with your kids make this place really fun because besides the landmarks that you press a button to let it speak to you about what it is, there is nothing else to do except for make your own fun, which we did.

Kids ages 9 and below will have fun, older kids might get bored easily. They had a special where if you buy the all day wristband for the Playland, you can get into the storyland for free. Storland is fun for young children. They have done quite a few upgrades over the years. Each area is designed around childrens favorite storybooks . There are play structures and slides. Your children can use a key to hear the story. I bought a pass for my grandson he really enjoys it. I wish they had more funding so they could expand and do more upgrades. I would recommend for a fun afternoon.

Place is free to go in! But it was pretty empty. And some rides look like they are abandoned. The coolest part is they have some dinosaurs in the land to look but you have to ride the train which it was a bit inconvenient with us. Its a cool area for kids 4-12 I would say. But I wont come back if you ask me. The zoo was enjoyable tho.

Its ok, its a little outdated but its fun for the kids. For $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids its worth walking the trails if your already at roeding park but I probably wouldnt make a special trip just for storyland. Playland was ok as well, rides have been the same for 20 years and they could use some updating as well. It is kind of expensive being that the rides are 3 tickets each and each ticket cost $1.00. I bought the wristband for unlimited rides which was on sale for $10.00 normal price is $20.00. The only ride I wanted to go on was the train (which was out of order again) however if you are already at the park it is worth checking out playland but once again not sure if it is worth the trip just to visit playland.

A great place for the kids to run around and have fun. But we have been there 2 times now. Today and about 5 months ago. The castle is still not fully open. They have some kind of shop that still isnt open. And why is there no characters running around. I seen they have a character room. My guess is its the changing room. Also, not all the voice boxes work. Best part about it is the train ride. Kids favorite.

Some of the attractions look a little faded and worn but my kids never noticed. Meet all the princesses, hear the stories and fairytales. Tons of picnic spaces, eating areas free to public, private party areas, stage events, concession stands. Roeding park is free for military with valid ID. Parking can be a pain from zoo traffic, expect to walk. But it is a beautiful area. Storybook land has an awesome enchanted aura for little kids. I highly recommend the family year membership. It has saved us so much money with how often we go.

Also thw train ride is always fun. Best of all you can take your own snacks and drinks. Take a picnic basket or ice chest and make a day of it. Great price, fun, & relaxing stroll. Only down side... parking lot full on weekends, and couldnt find a drinking fountain anywhere in story land. They do have a snack bar, but it wasnt open today (Sunday afternoon). So after walking super far from parking space, no water to drink when we arrived. Next time we will bring our own water. Not much to do about the parking lot situation. Fun place!

Pro: The train ride is super fun and I would absolutely recommend paying the teeny $3 per person fare to get that nice little ride to dinosaur islandCon: Storyland is outdated, broken down, and so dependent on a love of slides. Like seriously, who was the person who designed this place? They had an unhealthy obsession with slides lol. But anyways, most of the boxes that tell you the stories are broken which, I mean, its called Storyland, at least tell me some stories. Its probably only fun for people who grew up around here and really love the vintage qualities about Storyland and want to have some time to reminisce. But I wouldnt pay the admission to go in if youre planning on spending the day there. There just isnt much in there but slides.

Fun place for little kids. Lots of things to see and climb on. Most of the stories work, but the narrator is hard to hear (could use updating). Still its a lot of fun. Pretty small, you can see/do everything in an hour or two, but some kids can have fun on the pirate ship jungle gym or the slides for hours.

Years ago I took my children to this park. The rides were run down. They were cracked and peeling and the operators were too. We cancelled my sons birthday party because the police were draining the lake because of a dead body in a car had crashed into it. Fun for little kids and not very busy for a summer morning. Storyland and Playland have separate fees (Storyland for admission and Playland for tickets to ride the rides), so their relatively low costs can end up being more substantial if you do both and/or the zoo on the same day. Still, great place for a change of pace. We were there for two hours and my kids wouldve been happy to stay another hour or two.

Both Storyland & Playland along with the mini amusement park and the train ride was an amazing day with the family. The prices are low, $10 for just a family of four. Water fountains at every corner and some with water hoses to wet your head down on them hot summer days, or to spray your kids down before hitting the cool water pad. Tons of shade and cool spots to picnic. Staff were young adults with the highest quality standards for respect towards the customers that placed a smile on every face. So glad that I found this park.
