The whole family enjoyed our stay. They had activities for everyone. Restrooms/showers are deep cleaned often and you can tell they put extra effort into sanitizing. Our site had mature trees and a beautiful view of the lake. Pools are clean, friendly staff made us feel very welcomed. Perfect getaway. We will be back!

In good conscious, I cannot leave a decent review outside of the amazing amenities of this campground. Granted, there are numerous small, clean playgrounds throughout the park, the splash pad and pools are fun, unique, and well kept, there are many organized activities for kids, and the campground is great about maintaining quiet hours. I fully acknowledge the amenities of the park are wonderful for young families. That being said, I was shocked and disappointed in the unfriendly and unprofessional staff. At check in, when we asked how to use the guest a pass for our campsite, the front desk lady rudely said “you should do that at check in!” (....um, we are? That’s why I’m asking?...) And at check out, a different lady could not even look up from her computer when we were trying to ask a few questions. The golf cart rental is confusing and strange. There are many rules to abide by, which is fine, but there are many “unofficial rules” that you will get yelled at about without knowing. For example, children are not to ride on laps and golf carts should not be put past 8, even though this was not told to us or on our paperwork, an employee named Steve, rudely told us this when we infringed on this unknown rule. Steve also yelled at us for going to fast in a vehicle, when we were going under 5 miles an hour, well behind a golf cart. Steve also yelled at us for not returning our golf cart to the correct spot, which is actually an unmarked section. Instead we returned it to the numbered lot that corresponded with our cart, as the lady at the front desk, who couldn’t look up from her computer, told us to do. Lastly, was the last final straw as we were leaving, we tried to respectfully ask Steve what the protocol on golf carts were so that we understood the rules, he said “read your paperwork”. We told him we felt his attitude all weekend was unprofessional and that we would not be back. His unprofessional response was “That’s fine. We’re full every weekend.”Honestly, we won’t be back. As unique as the amenities are locally located for us, I just wasn’t impressed. We’re a young, responsible family who wanted our young children to have some fun. Our 4 year old refused to ride his bike or the expensively rented golf cart all weekend due to the way Steve takes to us upon arrival. We’re more than happy to follow any rules and we appreciate the safety and noise control campground rules proved, but come on Yogi Bear.. let’s have some professional, respectful, and kind staff for a place that caters to children. Very disappointing.

The park itself was amazing. They have so much for children To do with water park, indoor pool, golf carts, peddle carts, mini golf, arcade, and pizza and ice cream. There was hourly activities like pumpkin decorating and scavenger hunt. They even had a trick or treat night. The park really blows it out of the water for entertainment. BUT our group site was so tight! Our campers were touching each other. And the entire floor of our camp site was dirt and sand. No grass. This made our campers full of it too not to mention our kids were covered in it and it ruined shoes, chairs Etc. We also found the staff to be very short, rude, unfriendly, snarky and went out of their way to be mean. They literally had someone going around to yell at people and remind them of the campground rules. No one was being wild or bothering anyone. Noise is part of camping. We didn’t mind people playing music and taking loudly. It really made us feel unwelcomed and the whole point of camping is feeling at home in the outdoors. Not one staff member we talked to all weekend had a smile on their face or a kind word in their mouth. It really put a damper on our trip and although the entertainment for kids was awesome we won’t be coming back due to the treatment and atmosphere.

One of the funnest most memorable times of my life was spending the day here with my family swimming, sitting around a campfire, eating pizza and Ice Cream, enjoying the nice summer weather and checking out hot girls in bikinis. Doesnt get much better than that. They have awesome big water slides, a huge complex kids water splash pad, three swimming pools, bathrooms with changing rooms, and a store that sells fresh hot pizza, scooped ice cream, and other foods/treats. An awesome place to take your RV camper and spend a few days or weeks in the fresh air. Family friendly atmosphere with BBQ fire pits, picnic tables, and camp spaces for your RV/tents and vehicle. I was a guest, and so my sister paid for me, but I was told its like $15 for a day visit, beyond that I am unsure of further costs, but regardless its an amazing place. Loved it!

My son is young and wanted to stay in a tent, the tent area we had was right next to the catch and release pond. Which is also directly next to a very busy highway. The whole weekend we had to yell to hear each other over the loud passing semis and cars. Sleeping was almost impossible with the loud semis going by all night long. Along with our camp sites were directly next to others so close that the other camp sites kept using our electric and water, and unplugging what we had plugged In to plug their things in.The activity pool was so packed and no lifeguards or staff present. My son was being pushed and shoved out of the way for the slides, adults were going down the slides. It was such a mess my son did not enjoy it at all because he rarely got to go down any of the slides as he kept waiting in line but older kids would push him aside and go before him.The morning at 8:30am we walked to the bathrooms and the ladies room was closed for cleaning. In the morning when everyone is trying to go to the bathroom. I am pregnant and I couldn’t walk to another building. The worker who was cleaning the bathroom was rude and told us to walk around and find another bathroom. I also wasn’t impressed with the lack of bathrooms around either, we were put put golfing and had no idea where a bathroom was even located, they were far and few between. We also tried to get a golf cart to rent and was told they were all booked out and placed our name on a cancellation list. Never got a call but when we arrived there were 10+ golf carts in the pick up area. Along with the next day even more golf carts returned.I would not recommend this camp, we wanted a relaxing and fun camp experience for my sons first camping trip and had a very awful weekend especially for how much we paid for this spot at $156 for two nights.

Its a little on the pricey side but has good amenities overall. One of the best camping sites I have been too. Fun with Yogi Bear and gang. Its great for kids hard on parents lol. The hardest part is the road noise from the highway which at times sounds like its coming into your camper. I would easy give it 5 if it wasnt for the constant road noise.

Great staycation for the family. We stayed in a rustic cabin which I adored (esp the gingham curtains!) A little highway noise but I expected that due to location. We brought bicycles to ride around to pools and ranger station since cabins are on the other side. There is a splash pad for littler kids and one for bigger kids too! We were blessed with perfect weather and really enjoyed ourselves.

You must be the manager the ranger had warned us about. My son has never been in trouble anywhere. He’s an extremely quiet and laid back kid. Sure, he was around a bunch of rowdy kids, but that doesn’t mean HE did anything wrong and I DID accompany my kids at the pools. Again, you’re talking about the OTHER boys whose parents weren’t there. I was there at the pools and I witnessed as well as several of our family members just how rude your lifeguards are and I’m sure we were not the only ones. My daughter didn’t have anything to say until she witnessed your lifeguards bullying my son for being at the wrong place and time.NO they do NOT do ANY cleaning at all! I watched as well as several others with us. We even made random comments to each other that we had not seen a single person cleaning the pool area during our 4 day stay. At least be honest with your paying guests and try to do better next time. I am shocked you treat your customers this way. Next time don’t just lump all the kids in group and make assumptions. You have a bunch of teenagers running the pool area and Instead of actually listening to your paying customers and instead of trying to reflect everything back on us, just take some responsibility and listen to your guests. If my kids weren’t lying about your lifeguards swearing, belittling, and bullying them what other reason do we have to lie about any of this? What do we have to gain from this? Nothing at all! We truly wanted to have a great stay, that’s all we wanted. My eyes are wide open and I see how you treat your paying guests. No wonder the Ranger told us we didn’t want to get you involved. Just try to do better going forward. That’s really all I’m asking. Just watch and you will see they are not cleaning anything at scheduled times. Instead of just taking your employees words for it, Watch and listen for yourself. Your customers want to feel you’re doing your part during this pandemic. They also want to know their children are safe while playing on your equipment or running around a campsite. Please clean up a little better.I understand you have a business to protect or are just possibly in denial, but it’s unprofessional to do it at the expense of paying customers. I also have a family to protect and my children should have never left there with cuts and bruises when it was completely avoidable. Instead of taking my criticism as an insult, use in a way to make sure your customers have a nice stay. I would call you and try to make sense of all this, but I have a feeling you will just deny and reflect. I wish you all the best and I hope you and your staff can grow from all this. Good day!

The campground is wonderful for families with kids. The only issue I have is why they dont answer the after hours phone. This Yogi Bear Campground is so much fun! There is so much for kids to do! All fellow campers were so kind! All the employees were very helpful and cheery! Even in 90 degree heat, Yogi, Cindy Bear and friends all made appearances throughout the campground!! So much to do for the kiddos! The reason I didnt give it five stars, is because a couple times when I went to use the Comfort stations, they were not very clean. But....with the amount of work and upkeep this campground must require, the comfort stations were okay overall. We camped over the 4th, and the campground was packed, so keeping up with cleanliness in the bathrooms was probably quite a task!!

My wifes family camps here every Labor Day weekend. Yes, the campground gets a little crazy with so many people but the staff has always done so well handling the crowds. We decided to camp a few days just single family, during the week, (hoping to avoid larger weekend crowds) and as an added bonus my in-laws let us use their camper. Overall we had a great time. The shower and bathroom I used was always clean. I will say, not a lot of social distancing in non-aquatic (namely, the rangers station) areas by campers, and no one (except staff) wore masks in non-aquatic areas. The only reason I gave our experience 4/5 stars is based upon the time my son and I spent in the arcade. He loves arcades (as do I). He was so excited to spend some time there. (We werent going unless it was slow, to avoid crowds). We put our $20 bucks in, and got our tokens. (I suggest little paper cups for tokens.) We then started walking around to see what to play first. So disappointing to see so many games out of order, and many games not giving tickets. The ticket counter was O.O.O. as well. The poor staff had to write a ticket # on a piece of paper, and these were added up at the end. I get it...things break, theyre expensive to fix. But please spend some time, effort, and resources to fix the arcade. Its in desperate need of fixing and/or updating.Otherwise, this campground is great. Always something to do!

What a fantastic vacation we had here July 16-18!! We brought our 5yo and 3yo so they were perfect ages for the pools, playgrounds, and some of the craft shed options. We stayed in cottage #12, which was awesome! 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom (single stand up shower, no tub), kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, 2 burner electric stove top, and most importantly - CENTRAL AIR!! I’m pretty sure my husband would have melted without the central air LOL. The cottage also had a large porch with a swing which the kids loved. My only suggestion to the park is to put queen size beds in the back bedroom as full size beds are so small for couples, and the futon was not great, which is to be expected with futons. But I know a queen size bed may not be doable due to the room size. We made it work but that was my only “complaint.”We had such a wonderful time that we are already planning to stay for 3-4 nights next summer! I even put a reminder in my calendar to call and make the reservation next January. We felt 2 nights was not enough as we prioritized pool time over doing activities like bingo, character meets, etc but would like to do it all next year.We tried the pizza from Boo Boo’s Cafe for lunch one day and it was quite good! The cheese bread was even better although small (but the price reflects that) so we should have ordered two. I thought prices were pretty reasonable for everything on the menu. Pretty on par with a restaurant, without the usual large up-charge you usually find at resorts. The ice cream was also very good and portions were generous! Two scoops is MORE than enough for an ice cream lover although one scoop is probably just right. The kid size was great for our kids. The craft shed had lots of craft options! We brought our own white t-shirts which meant we didn’t have to pay anything for tie dyeing. I was pleasantly surprised there was no charge for the dye itself! Next year we may pay the $10 for the Jellystone shirt as well as bring our own shirts for tie dyeing. My 5yo did the sand art ($3) and a butterfly craft thing ($4). Both kids did derby hats ($4 each) since it was Derby Days weekend. The $4 got you a woven sun hat with a ribbon (4-5 to choose from), 3 fake flowers of their choice, then there were multiple types of ribbons and glue on the tables to choose from. Great activity! The pools were great! They got pretty crowded as it got closer to the weekend, even with the 50% capacity limit. I’m not sure how strictly they followed that but pool capacity was posted to be 200 people each and the few times I roughly counted came under 100 people.I know that Indiana’s mask mandate starts July 27 so we went before that. We are from Michigan, where we’ve had a mask mandate since April. It was almost shocking how few people were wearing masks in indoor areas. Masks were encouraged by the park but not required. I would say 10-20% of guests wore masks inside the ranger station. Employees were mostly properly masked, which i know is the best the park can do without a statewide mask mandate. Now they will be required by law so I am hoping the park enforces that, as we did feel a bit uncomfortable with so few people masking. But again, I don’t blame the park for that.I included photos of the craft shed “menu” and the menus for Boo Boo’s Cafe food and ice cream, including pricing for ice cream. I didn’t see any of these menus or pricing on any reviews on Google or Trip Advisor so hopefully they will help others! We are already looking forward to returning next year!!!!

Rented a deluxe cottage for one night. It was a little pricey but when you factor in the wrist bands its not too bad. Everyone had a blast. Kitchen is lacking, the singe person pan is tiny. Especially since the cottage itself is supposed to be for 6 to 8 people. We try to make hamburgers, one at a time because of the pan, and the smoke detectors came on right away. Other than that it was nice! There was nothing to clean the dishes with, I guess you have to bring your own sponges and dish soap! The sent me a notification after we had gone. The park is great, next time we will probably just get day passes though!

We’ve been camping in northern Michigan since 2003 and decided to give Indiana a try. Since this was less than an hour and a half from my home, instead of over three hours the time and gas savings alone were worth it. This is one of the nicest Jellystone parks we’ve ever been to. It’s a bigger park for sure, but the amenities are very well laid out and it has a water park that rivals the aquatic center in East Lansing; which is closed for the season. I have yet to have anything to put on here that’s negative, but if you want to get out of Michigan I would give this place a look.

Overall campsite and water park were great. However the bathroom are severely under par. They are severely outdated and the showers and stalls are super small. There is no hot or cold adjustment on the showers just scalding hot. My daughter screamed the whole time trying to give her a shower because the water was so hot. Onto the toilets. We camped near the rustic area. Both bathrooms over there the toilets clogged up every single night. I had to walk to the front of the park to be able to go to the bathroom because all of the toilets were unusable. This happened twice while I was there for a 3-day weekend. I really hope these bathrooms get addressed and are repaired or replaced all together to be more user-friendly. The showers were in the bathrooms. So theres absolutely no privacy. And also with it being 90° outside inside the bathrooms was well over 110° there look to be one new bathroom towards the front of the park that has been updated. If all these bathrooms were updated to be like this the experience would be much better.

Nice facility overall. Lots of family activities, many with water involved. Several swimming opportunities, volleyball, basketball, putt-putt (a bit worn out), playgrounds, paddle boats, gaga ball, sandlot diamond, etc...no reason to be bored if the weather is cooperating. We stayed in a cottage with a loft. A few pointers:- The campground is right next to a highway, so bring ear plugs if youre a light sleeper, especially for anyone staying in the loft.- While it was advertised as sleeping up to 8, it seats up to 3 comfortably. Bring air mattresses if youre going to need to sleep more than 4.- Dont forget linens and towels. There are none.- There are exposed beams above the bunk beds and in the loft. The edges of these beams havent been rounded over (theyre sharp 90s) and hurt like heck when you sit or stand up under one.- The lamps in the loft are less than 6 above the floor. They also hurt like heck when you stand up under one.- The ladder to the upper bunk bed lacks any surfaces small enough for a small child to grip. Our 5 year old fell off several times in our two night stay.- Bring air freshener. The unit we stayed in had quite a funk.- The WiFi is far too far away from the cottage we stayed in to be effective and AT&T and T-Mobile were only occasionally connecting at up to 3G speeds with 2 bars. All 5 of our devices would barely communicate when theyd actually manage to connect to something. Fortunately, the weather was nice during our stay.

Our family takes an annual camping trip here for four days. With seven kids across a few families, it’s important to vacation strategically at a place with lots of activities for the kids! My nieces and nephews loved the water parks and Ranger Station. We had a great time overall, and our rented RV was clean and spacious. My suggestion to turn this into a five-star rating would be:1) more family activities (family bingo)2) more adult activities!! Yoga was only offered once - I would love to see more throughout the day. Zumba? In the evenings, after the kids were in bed at 8pm, there is nothing for adults to do. Dancing, card tourneys... anything would be welcome.3) more healthy food options at the Ranger Station (smoothies, frozen yogurt, salad)

The bathroom facility we used was private, with shower, sink and toilet. They were very clean. They also had regular garbage pickup throughout the day.The only item you need to be aware of is the facility is right next to the interstate. Love coming here. Four on site pools ,(one inside, three outside). Two water parks, (one specially for toddlers). Great gift shop, and arcade. Multiple different recreational amenities (double, and four seater bikes, strollers, golf carts, paddle boats, boats, kayaks etc.). Fun activities for the children (5 playgrounds, crafts, movie nights etc). Lovely staff, amazing stress free environment. Bicycle friendly, pet friendly. This is a definite must for all families.

Worst chevk in service ever. We H ad to ask for map. Then had to ask for oark info. Then had to ask for wifi info. It us advertised but was told, oh its hit or miss. Mostly miss. No one to show us to the site. No sign on site. Drop 65 total length motor home around park until we found an employee who we had to ask if hed take us to the site. Very poor service

Had lots to do. They have added so much since my last visit. The only thing im very angry about is someone broke my new lock to my trailor. They tryed to steal it. I think they should have some kind of security to protect our stuff. I doubt i will ever bring my boat again

Love everything about this resort. We rented a cabin with our grandchildren and ended up buying a seasonal unit before we left!! One suggestion I have is to add a large two sided clock tower on the arcade so that kids know when to return to their campsites. See you again this season!!

It may be expensive, but theres no other campground that can compete! Theres so much for the kids to do, its effortless to get them involved. Dont come here expecting a peaceful time with nature- this park is designed to hold lots of people and give them plenty to do.

I have a seasonal lot here for myself and my kids. It has been an amazing experience. EVERYONE here is SO FRIENDLY and SO HELPFUL! I love that my.kiddos can roam the entire campground and I feel that they are completely SAFE. The grounds are beautiful, super clean, very well maintained and my only complaint is that we live in a state where it gets cold and they cant stay open year round! There is far too many activities to list, and seeing families truly enjoying themselves makes this mamas heart super happy!!

I spent one night while traveling. Park is huge which allows for a lot of nice amenities. Lots for the kids to do. Most of the campground areas are grass, which was nice. Campground was well staffed. All roads paved nicely. A few concerns. Many of the sites did not have enough base to put the trailer into, which means one wheel is in the grass and trailer is unlevel. My site shared a pedastol with the site next to me except it was on the front side on my rig all the way on the other sites back side. This means I barely had enough hose and cord to reach and it was running across the front of my site. The single width roads goes both ways??? No way 2 trailers could pass each other.

Our family has been here twice now and we love the atmosphere! The sites are spacious, there are shade trees, paved roads and there are a lot of playgrounds for the kids. The splash pads and pools are so fun. There is so much more for the kids to do as well. This is a beautiful campground and we intend to return for more fun annually!

We went for the day with the kids ages 2-10yrs there was something age appropriate for them all. This was great summer fun & only a hr drive or so from Lansing mi. I would have given 5 starts except the woman at the desk where u buy your tickets were just not friendly AT ALL.

Stayed in cabin 10, husband and I both were bit all over our ankles, legs and thighs. When I called to talk to Julie H she was dismissive and rude when I mentioned they looked like bed bug bites. Just responded with “no one has ever mentioned this before!”Over priced, rude manager, and unclean.
