My son has been part of the U6 group this past fall as well as participated in the summer camps. I have nothing but great things to say about this organization. They are player focused, with a goal of helping each player meet their personal goals while developing them. Based on this, the coaches encourage parents to volunteer, including them in the curriculum. The only parents I’ve seen complain are the ones who are generally absent from the entire process, failing both to develop a relationship with the coaches and being clueless about the needs of their kid (with the kid usually telling the parent completely different things so to avoid being a focus of that anger).I’m so glad we have been a part of this youth soccer program and highly recommend it to anyone with a kid who is excited to learn how to kick a ball.

Our son has been with them for 3 years. His skills have improved tremendously. Also he loves the game. Fremont club is different because there is more emphasis on learning skills as opposed to winning games. I have seen kids transfer from very highly placed teams to Fremont club for this reason.

Good alternative for Fremont area and it is less expensive than Rush soccer club in Fremont.

We are with the club for many years and we are super happy with the care the kids get, with the professionalism in coaching and in communication to parents. Also there is a clear path for kids to develop their skills, the issue is only when you are on the top Premium team then there is no real further development path. Otherwise, great club, would recommend to anyone.

Fremonts Youth Soccer Club is better than all of the soccer clubs our kids have joined in past seasons. We have been around travel all soccer for over 9 years and have seen it all. Weve stayed with FYSC because I like the fact that they focus on development of players. I like that there are no parent coaches on the sidelines, and that the focus is on individual skills and team work. I like the financial model that they use instead of paying league fees/coach fees/light fees/tournament fees separately without any accountability. My son has learned more from this league in the three seasons weve been here than all of the seasons he spent at other leagues.

FYSC is a big fraud. Advise you never sign up your kid with them. My son was in training pool for many months and they kept charging us even during the summer break. When asked if he will be returning never received a response but they kept on charging us. Im having to dispute now.

FYSC is a business and that colors all the decisions they make. I had thought that professional coaches would be better than parent coaches but its just a different set of problems. Our coach of 7 years was recently forced out through the opaque machinations of the ownership structure. They chose to break up the team in order to maximise their revenue and ability to recruit. Little thought was given to the team. The result is that some girls will not be with girls theyve spent 7 years with and will play to a lower level of competition. Many of the coaches do a good job but there is high turnover. And, in spite of claims of consistency, there is quite a bit of variation between coaches. If I were doing this over again Id choose another team.

This is a poor excuse of a soccer organization.
