My great grandma Julia Burtz worked here as a maid before she got married and homesteaded in South Dakota. Was cool to stop and see it is in such good condition.

So interesting! Artifacts abound in this beautiful mansion. All are from the general area. There sure was a lot of manual labor in the old days.. whew, so glad for modern technology.

Wonderful museum. Could have spent hours longer to see and hear about its history. Cant wait to go again and learn more about its display articles and their background.
