Mission Hills is a great Club for real tennis Fans and their Family! My son started to take group lesson and private lesson from this Summary. Coach Carmen is a great teacher of Junior players. She not only gives very details technical guide to every kid, also adjusts by kids own body/skill conditions. We all lover her coaching, and my son improved a lot in previous months!

My 5 year old Son is taking tennis lessons from Carmen for the past 5 months. We are extremely satisfied with Carmens way of coaching. She focus on each kid and knows exactly what is needed for each one of them. She keeps the learning fun for the kids, always got a trick or two to keep the kids engaged. I would definitely recommend Mission Hills and Coach Carmen.

We LOVE this place! It is a hidden gem in Fremont. Best tennis environment with great management. Newly resurfaced courts surrounded by beautiful redwood trees. The owner John is always there and very friendly and helpful! My husband once forgot to bring balls to play with my son while my daughter was taking lessons. John let them borrow some balls to play with. So nice of him! Our kids enjoy the pool and their group tennis lessons with Coach Tendo, Carmen and Amanda. Virtual Zumba class was also fun to do with my kids at home. They have a variety of workout classes to choose from. We highly recommend joining this club!!

I used to play here as a kid growing up. Returned to the club with my kids on a recent visit and noticed the new management doing a great job. Club staff and tennis coaches were friendly and professional. Kids had a great time!

We have been club members of the Mission Hills Racquet and Swim Club since March 2017, however we stopped our membership from Jan 2018-July 2019 to poor and rude management. Recently the club was was taken over by a completely new management under John Chen. We have been very happy with with this change - John is very focused on providing a positive customer experience. He has made changes to both the fitness classes and the tennis sessions offered after listening to members feedback. The tennis courts have been recently resurfaced and the club house is being revamped as well. He is very approachable and is available at all times to embrace feedback and implement changes as he sees appropriate. Would definitely recommend this club as it is family friendly and is located in a beautiful setting in the Fremont Mission San Jose neighborhood.

This is really a very unique and special place -- amazing setting in a redwood forest. Very friendly. I have made lifelong friends here. The previous manager was terrible but many of us stuck around because we were friends. Thankfully the club was sold and now we have a wonderful manager. Even though they are shut down at the moment, we still have classes on zoom and the class attendance has gone up a lot. The teachers are amazing too. There is no other place like it in the bay area.

Fantastic facility! lovely coaches, staff, and fitness instructors! The new owner is doing an amazing job renovating the club and improving everything for the members. From my experience playing at other clubs and tennis academies in the area, Mission Hills is the best one of them all and it is where I have felt the biggest improvement in my tennis. I cant wait to get back out on the court soon!

The club is under new management and what a wonderful impact it has had on me and my friends at the club! They have resurfaced all the tennis courts, and renovated the clubhouse, it looks fantastic! I know for a fact my friends and the members are so happy with the changes and are so excited to get back on the court soon!

Excellent Club for Tennis lovers. 13 courts, most of them newly resurfaced. Beautiful setting.New Management which took over in Jan 2020 is very good and have started making positive changes in the club.Club also offers good variety of fitness/yoga classes.

I love playing tennis and am an avid player. I love the coaches here, really experienced. The facilities are nice and new, improved gym, new courts, and nice swimming pool. Come here with your family and have a great time close to nature.

It is a beautiful location with a view into hills and lush green. The club is going through upgrades and changes with a new management. Looking forward to a great time and community.

Very unorganized management, staff are very uninformed. Overall it is very dirty as well, building has cockroaches especially in the bathroom. Lots of dead bugs and it smells very bad.

The new management is amazing! The tennis courts have all been resurfaced, the club is now clean and renovated, it is truly a relief and delight to see the club in such a beautiful state and growing with talented tennis players, fantastic coaches and an outstanding tennis program.

I am so grateful to see the new management putting so much effort into fixing up the tennis courts, the swim pool and the club house. Playing tennis on a newly resurfaced court in a tranquil backdrop of tall trees and mountain, It is a very relaxing experience.

The Mission Hills Club is a beautiful facility hidden inside a small forest of tall redwood trees right off of Mission Blvd. The owner is very friendly and helpful. They also donated a large bag of tennis balls to bring to the local animal shelters. Can’t thank them enough!

I tried the group lessons and private lessons right before the shelter in place. The coaches are AWESOME!!! Really looking forward to more time there after the shelter in place lifts.

The courts have really nice and have been resurfaced. The facility is great and is continually improved. The courts are write next to nature and devoid of all the city noise.

I first learned of Mission Hills Racquet and Swim Club in 2018. I had just moved to Fremont and was looking for a place to play tennis. When I toured the facility, I found the club completely run down. Most tennis courts had significant cracks, weeds grew out of said cracks, and the surface paint was almost entirely faded. The weight room was equally unimpressive. I didnt join, and instead played at Fremont Tennis Center.In January 2020, I learned that the Mission Hills club had new management with ambitious goals to renovate the entire grounds, including resurfacing all tennis courts, reinstating USTA league, building a larger swimming pool, and build a larger gym to accommodate weight lifting.I took a leap of faith and joined the club, and have been happy with my decision thus far. There have been several notice-able improvements since Ive joined:1) Over half the tennis courts have been completely resurfaced, with fresh new paint, and new nets.2) The old and broken fences surrounding the tennis courts have been replaced with new fences.3) The swimming pool has been replaced.4) Tennis courts are always cleaned, so that leaves from surrounding trees do not risk injury to players.5) Online system was introduced to register for fitness/yoga classes.Honestly, in these trying times with COVID-19, I would have quit membership. What ultimate keeps me as a paying customer is the fantastic customer service. A couple examples that really stand out are:1) Management remembers everyone by first name basis. They put in effort to be welcoming and make conversation.2) During shelter in place, management adopted an online system for members to join fitness classes through video call.Seeing the positive changes in recent months excites me to see the club achieve their remaining goals. The club is well on its way to becoming a great alternative, and much more local feel, to Bay Club.

The new look of the club added to the attitude of the new management has been very refreshing.
