The worst prime rib Ive ever tried to eat.Plate came out and the meat was the grey/brown color indicative of a piece of meat cooked rare, and soaked in Au Jus to warm/finish.The consistency of an inner tube. No seasoning what so ever.Hash brown were great.Lackluster response from management concerning the food, the waitress talked to her manager.Can NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Big red was not my cup of tea. Our waitress seemed bothered to have to wait on us and the food was bland. The sides has absolutely no seasoning and the catfish was a whole fish. Bones, guts, fins and all. I wish the menu or servers would have specified before that the catfish still had bones, I wouldnt have ordered it.I believe that the experience would have been better if the atmosphere was friendly and our waitress was kind.

Stopped by for a quick dinner tonight with my family and was served by David. His service was wonderful and he was very accommodating to my family and I. The friendliness of the staff seems very genuine! The menu wasnt too bad at all as well and was very affordable. I also managed to get a few games of Keno in, where I won $20! Had a great time tonight, will definitely be back with my family sometime in the near future.

Great food! always packed and busy tho. Hard to get a spot to park ever. Pretty good servers. Food and drinks were a little slower coming out tho, but it was slammed busy.

I just really enjoy sitting there watching TV, sometimes seeing folks you know, and watching the hustle and bustle. Food is food. Portions are large. Staff is nice and they dont rush you away from your table.

I took my family last night to Big Red and we wont be going back anytime soon. Our waitress was kind and did her job well. The 2 margaritas I ordered were awful I had hopes after the 1st one it was just a mistake made but the 2nd one was worse. The chicken for my taco salad tasted like left over chicken warmed up in the microwave. Half of my lettuce was past it prime. The double bacon burger ordered was dry and flavorless. Just overall a bad experience and 100 bucks wasted on a meal when my family wanted McDonalds in the first place. We had eaten there 2 weeks ago and it was decent.

Great service as always. One of our most frequented restaurants in town. And an added bonus when you win keno and it pays for your meal!

Great food. Busy, but wait was short (less than five minutes) for group of seven. Servers attentive and pleasant. Prices reasonable. Saw sign that all appetisers are half price from nine to eleven pm.

We stopped for the night and wanted a burger. Food was hot and there was a short wait but they were very busy. They have a large, varied menu. I am not a Keno player but always interesting to watch the numbers. We asked our waitress a few questions ablout the area but found out there is a nice college there and she grew up not far from our home town, 500 miles away!.

Needs new management as they consistently hire the rudest most unattractive women for some weird reason (something personal?) it has been going on for so long that someone has to say it. They took Bud off tap who does that! Keno payouts are bad and the beer prices go up all the time. Their specials are higher than regular price at other keno places, downright greedy. Food is actually good so they get two stars.

Each visit here has been met with, a good staff, a unique atmosphere (Keno on one end, and more of a sports bar/restaurant on the other side), and of course good food.My top 5 personal favorites are:Onion rings, deep fried Cauliflower with cheese dipping sauce, Hot Beef sandwich, Club sandwich, and the Elephant Ear sandwich (its a very large Pork Tenderloin sandwich, and its about 6-7 across)

Food has gone downhill. Lettuce salad had so much limp and slimy lettuce I refused to eat it. The manager Becky is worthless and lacks any customer service skills. Disappointing to say the least.

I like the food at this place. It is as good as any other dine in place around here. The hyvee half off coupons that are usable certain days I just fold back in and order an appetizer. Tasty food.good value. Have eaten here for years. Like the late night snacks too. Yummmyyyy. Beer is cold. Wait staff polite and prompt. Special orders not a fuss. Excellent place to watch a variety of video stuff. The chairs are dated and could use new modern ones. They have been the same ones for years. Just like many places that keep using the same furniture forever. Otherwise it is a great selection. One item to note is you used yo get three pieces of fish now you only get two and the price is still over the value bite per price. Portions of all other food is good. The home made soup is excellent. The chili is not consistent made but more magical whimsical lets see if we can make some chili. Ine time its great another time its too hot. Sometimes its got too much pour components into the cooker and call it chili. I like the chili so I always ask for a sample to see what kind of goldilox food I am going to get today. Ohh one last item. Those silly rolls they have. Pfftt... wirthlessy. They taste like old pie crust. The foods great though. I did say that a bunch. Ok thats the as my son calls it. Unfortunately they do a poor job of seating groups of people, 3 tables next to eachother were seated which would of accommodated our table. They were waiting on one specific table which was told to us. Unfortunate because they have ok food. Probably wont go back.

It started out as a Keno (gambling place) but turned into more of a bar and grill. It serves amazing food but it can be a bit pricey.

The service is horrible. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for a server to bring us menus & take our drink order. Many walked by but no one acknowledge us. The place was not busy. Several empty tables. We walked out.

I liked their old chicken more than the new one.
