One of the best experiences I’ve had in a restaurant after COVID. Everyone had masks on, very sanitary. The food was amazing, J was very friendly and made my visit very memorable. I recommend the fried Mac and cheese balls. I will keep coming back.

The baked beans are delicious, multiple different style of barbecue sauce, during covid there is dining on patio surrounded by glass to block the wind, also kind enough to make dining in parking area. The prices are very good compared to Oakland. You will get nice portions. The staff is awesome

We love the salads! I know, you are thinking this is a BBQ place but OMG their Sesame Soy Dressing is amazing with either the brisket or chicken salad. It has the perfect combo of all things - very tasty and filling!

I meet with friends this great spot quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this spot frequently. The food is great, the crew is professional and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a rich meal.

Its just okay to...i oredered ribs and burnt ends. The ribs need the bbq sauce to provide flavor to the under season pork ribs. The burnt ends are passable. It had a funky sauce that was not agreeable to me. I would rather make oven baked home ribs.

I placed my order online and it was breeze picking up my order the next day.I ordered a full rack of ribs with chicken legs and a side of the potatoe salad. The ribs were moist and juicy. It was so delicious. But the chicken was dry. Next time Ill just stick to the ribs and sides.

I have eaten here several times and generally enjoy what I have eaten as does various members of my family. Dining is currently an intetesting experience and we chose takeout. We ran into issues trying to order from their website and finally simply called the restaurant instead (btw, the person taking our order was quite efficient & competent! Kudos to him). There are the expected items available and they are even branching out a bit with having a Beyond Burger option available. Having dined there several times I will note that there some unevenness to the bbq-I guess it depends on the chef?bbq master? Nevertheless, we still eat up everything! The prices are relatively decent, you get enough to eat, but youre not overwhelmed by the serving sizes. I have a couple of wishes...1) for picky, younger children that there be simple, plainer food, and 2) a greater selection of sides. Oh, and bring extra napkins as there selection of sauces is fun!

This meal was about $15. The pork was the best. The coleslaw could use a little more flavor. Overall it wasnt too bad. Its the best southern-ish food you can find in Fremont which Ill gladly take to remind me of home.

From Kansas City visiting the area for work and wanted some good BBQ and this place has it. Conventional wood smoked meats and great homemade sauces to choose from. Good atmosphere, clean and the manager Will was a great bartender/host! Owner even stopped by to shake my hand as I complemented him on his great BBQ and establishment and I was told they have another location in Vegas. Stop by and check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Very fast and friendly staff. The food was delivered quickly but the portions were a little small. The brisket was dry, but we ordered it from the lean side. We ordered a hot link and it was more like a sausage, it didnt look as pictured. The brisket ends were bomb, I didnt enjoy the wolf turds because they had sausage in them but the rest of my party really really enjoyed them. We all enjoyed the mac and cheese. Really good bbq. I highly recommend having the brisket and spare ribs. And please try the banana pudding if you have never had it. Its my favorite dessert.

No one is attending the tables. guests leave and no one cleans the table. I had food and got stomach ache later that night.employees are lazy. these guys need to take a tour somewhere were setting in open air is a regular thing and watch the energy employees put out....

Good BBQ. Had the 3 meat combo, brisket (50/50 fatty), ribs and hot links. All tasty but the brisket was the star. Good sauces too. Nice selection of standard and crafts beers. Friendly service, food arrived lightning fast.

Amazing burnt ends and generally great BBQ food. The 2 or 3 meat platter (brisket, burnt ends & ribs are my favourite) is more than enough for most people and the appetizers with stuffed peppers and Mac n cheese balls are heavily recommended.

Really enjoyed my meal here. The Wolf Turds appetizer was great. A large jalapeño pepper stuffed with ground sausage and a blend of cheeses wrapped in bacon.The brisket was very nice. The waitress offered me the choice of brisket from the fatty side, lean side, or both. Went with both and it was really good. The Louisiana hot link was okay but definitely too much for one person.Friendly and quick service.

Service was quick, and quite attentive. We tried a few different thing as it was our first time there. Marbled brisket was by far the best, with pulled pork coming in a close second. Wasnt a fan of the Mac and cheese though, while it it was cooked perfectly it tasted bland this time. Definitely willing to try it again next time

My wife and I traveled 3 hours to both eat and see a concert at this venue. I had the occasion to speak with Manager Anthony by phone before coming down there. He was extremely helpful, explaining to me exactly how the dinner and subsequent show would work. We arrived and had a very good meal. I would agree with several other reviewers: it might not be the very best I have ever had, but it was still really good. The concert that night was Lydia Pense and Cold Blood. Very entertaining. The drink prices were very reasonable. Overall, we had a good experience. Will we come back? I would think so. If they have a fun band playing, then I think we will once again travel to the Bay Area for the show. Anthony took care of us and our experience was wonderful!

This was our 2nd visit both times great service and excellent food. My 12 yr old son picked this restaurant, he got the burnt tips, loves them! My husband got pulled pork and brisket, I also had it last time, it is perfect! This time I just got peach cobbler and a Manhattan to drink, delicious! The manager and waitress were super friendly!

Be warnedFunny I ate here alot b4 the pandemic and the servings was plentiful. Fast forward now with Delivery services,I paid about $25+ for like 2½ strips of Brisket/crumbs of meat and like 4 cubes of the Burnt ends. Really shady on their part,TBH if they were low on Meats I wouldve appreciated it if they at least left a note or call and try and substitute it with a couple ribs or whatever they had! Feel really jipped and lost a regular customer.

This place is my favorite. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very affectionate and the food they place on your table is so tasty. I am always happy to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.

The meats were well seasoned, the service was friendly! They have music after hours with various bands as well as TVs for sports. The price was reasonable for what you got, Id be interested to know what the lunch portions were like. I would return again for what we got!

Good food at decent price. Bbq is their speciality so just order any of it blindly and it is good. Quantity and quality both are good. Chicken ribs I ordered were delicious. Potato salad was also good.Service is quick and staff courteous. They have ample parking nearby. The place is crowded in peak time but given it is big restaurant, you find the table.

Didnt need to wait long for booth, and the service was friendly and attentive. Tyler waited on my wife and I, and he knew the menu as well see which sauces suited which meats. He had suggestions for places to go afterwards, too. Nobody rushed us, and the food came out fast! Everything was delicious, from the pulled pork to the beef ribs to the brats, and especially the key lime pie! Definitely recommended; Ill be going back for certain. Worth every penny!

Smoking Pig has an expansive menu with options to suit just about any preference. The wait staff are extremely courteous and friendly. I ordered the burnt ends with a side of Mac and Cheese. The ends came smothered in honey sauce which was tasty, but I would prefer if they came dry, and then I could choose sauce or no sauce. The meat was good, but there was no real smoke flavor, or if there was, it was drowned out by the sauce. The Mac and Cheese is excellent; it has some BBQ meat mixed in.

The food was awesome. If you are in the area you must try this. Great smoke ring on the meats. Mac and cheese was as good as the meats. From out of the area but well worth a stop. Manager very friendly and helpful. Great choices of sauces for the mests.

As were driving by I spotted this place on the side of the road. Me and my family were starving and went to a couple locations on the other side of the freeway that were really busy. I spotted this Smoking Pig and flipped a quick turn and decided to try it out and BBQ sounded really good! What a great decision!As we walked in it was kind of slow a few people sitting at the bar. We were greeted by a very nice girl in the front and sat us down immediately. Our waiter was extremely courteous and told us about what they had on the menu.We all ordered the two item with ribs and chicken, ribs and sausage, and ribs and pulled pork. Each came with a side and I must say they were all delicious!! Especially the ribs. Wow! Fell right off the bone as you were eating it really large and juicy, lots of meat and 4 sauces to choose from to pour on top of or dip in.We were extremely impressed with the food taste, we thought it was reasonably priced and once the food came out it was definitely perfectly priced for the portion and taste. In fact I would have paid more just kidding(please dont raise prices)Ive already told several people about this location and definitely plan to return again. Keep up the good work.After finishing I was outside having a cigarette and met one of the employees, I believe the manager he was a really cool guy and told him it was our first time there and we really enjoyed the food. He was very happy to hear that and said that they try. Fast service and instant ambiance off BBQ when you walk in with the smoky smell. Great selection of classic BBQ meats. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Cant wait to go back. They even ask if you want your serving lean, fatty or 50/50!

Who doesnt like meat? Besides vegetarians anyway...dont need to worry about those types at this place. Here you will just find real people eating real food, some with delicious sauce, some without, depending upon their individual preference. The meat was good, the sauces were all good. I even got a bottle to bring home for a friend.

The smoking rib is really good. Juicy and tender! There are three different kinds of beef brisket, lean, half and half and fatty. Even if we ordered lean , its very juicy and tender. The level of wellness is right on spot! All in all, its one of the best bbq restaurants weve been to.

Perfect ambience for a weekend brunch. This place is also kind friendly which is pleasantly surprising. Great bar food and beer options. Nice and friendly staff.

Very good BBQ. My wife and I are watching our sugar consumption and the brisket and sausages dont come pre-sauced which was great. I had both in a 2 meat plate and my wife had a huge salad with brisket. They have a delicious spicy sauce available with no sugar as well.

Beer was cold. However, food came out oddly quick. Ribs were dry and without flavor. Chicken was dry a and also without flavor. And lord, the potato salad was just sad. Oh, and had someone else’s hair in my fries.. and if you don’t know how to make a Long Island, suggest asking for help. And not pouring some random liquor in there and serving it and laughing about it. ;)

Theres no other way to say it but to say it. The food was NASTY! Not even 2 mins after we ordered 2 pulled pork and chicken combos with beans and macaroni...the server was right out with it....and it wasnt even warm...the pulled pork texture was like something Id chew for an infant and the mac n cheese was bland.The chicken was pink and those beans....smh! The ambience was nice and it was clean and the music was good! Wouldnt recommend to anyone.

We tried the Smoking Pig during an overnight layover looking to experience some local BBQ. We were very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the brisket sandwich was dead-on in flavor and size. We had one lean and another 50-50 and each was just as ordered and delicious. Highly recommended if in the Newark California area.

Lets start withe the Greens..4 stars. Melt in your mouth soft and very tasty. I deducted 1 star as they are a little on the salty side.Pulled pork 5 stars. Tender, yummy and juicy.Burnt ends 3 stars. Very good but on the dry side....which brings me to the 4 different sauces they have..5 star killers sauces.Beans are good 4 stars.The mac and cheese 5.99 stars. I could eat a whole pot of the mac and cheese!! (Tip, put some sauce on them, nummy, Num-num-nummy.)

Their staff is excellent in delivery orders.

A place to eat BBQ meats and some good side dishes. Live band was setting up, so the place was a bit busy. Order your food when the waiter person comes or it will be a long wait. There are fewer items on the menu vs beer selection, but there all very tasty. We were there for 4 hours and never pressured to leave.

Two of the guys I work with talked about how good the brisket and smoked ends were here......they were so right! I was promptly seated and my server was on her game. The restaurant was clean and all the staff that passed by my table were friendly. My meal arrived very quick and was very tasty! I enjoyed the assortment of bbq sauces with my meal. I felt that for the portion size and quality that I received, it was well worth what I spent!

Great food, great music. Mac and cheese was stellar. Not the best brisket Ive had, but I like they give a choice of fatty or lean. Im sure if I didnt come close to kitchen close (10pm) the brisket wouldve been more moist.

Bad portion size I bought a 3way for 23.99 and i got the portion of a 1 way just 2 ribs and not the normal size 5 slice beef and about 2 links slice up links was the only portion done right onlt 2 ribs is ridiculousfood taste ok bean is the only reason for 2 stars this is a over prices snack I got my half and took a picture I dont care for the linis so I gave them all to my boyfriend but this is what we had after the food was separated 1 rib 3 sliced beef and link I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN I WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK AND ONLY BUY BEANS

Every time Ive been, I see the Manager, Anthony. Ive had a birthday dinner for 12 and we had great service. Ive been with just a couple of friends and we had great service. When Ive asked questions for food allergies and intolerance, great service. When I didnt see what I wanted on the menu, Anthony helped me order what and how I could to get what I was looking for, excellent service! Getting the picture? And of course I love the food and keep coming back...but the customer service is what keeps me suggesting this place for dinner because I just dont see it many places any more.

I went into this place hoping to have a good meal the hot links were dry baby waiter that waited on me the waitress I ordered brisket chicken leg can a hot link she brought me two pork ribs chicken leg and the hot link I went ahead and ate the food because it was already warm the food was brought to us not even hot I would have to say this is the worst BBQ Ive ever had its a bad meal

Was there at 12PM on a Sunday, no wait, got seated instantly. Got the three meat combo. All the meat was tender and flavorful. Wouldve liked a smokier flavor in the chicken. The Carolina sauce was fantastic, if you like mustard in your sauce. Great service, and friendly staff. Thank you!

They have a variety of sauces to choose from on the table (Carolina, KC, etc) The meat was cooked alright but lackluster in flavor.I ordered the 2 meat combo (ribs + burnt ends)The ribs were tender, and not-dry, but very bland/tasteless. I doubt they used a rub, and there was no sauce on the 2 mid-size pork ribs. I sampled all of the sauces and settled on Carolina style (heavy on the vinegar, med-sweet and slightly orange in color)The burnt ends were super sugary sweet with a teriyaki aftertaste. Some people may enjoy this, but I was not into it. Also, they were re-smoked until caramelized but at no point were they burnt/crispy.Meh...

This is your standard BBQ joint. They do have live music on some nights and put on a Sunday breakfast with relatively cheap mimosas. I enjoy their pulled pork and nachos most.

The brisket was very dry when I received it and ID ask for anything else just a brisket and seemed like those older was in freshed until I complained about it and then they brought me out of fresh batch in a taste a lot better. Tenders well I cant see much about the sauces. I wasnt there to use or sauces, I was there to taste the quality of their brisket. Whats my family all they order with French fries the like the fries. And these are young elementary and junior high Children very finnicky.

I had dinner here on Saturday night and found their kitchen to be very efficient. I got the ribs and the burnt ends. I think I would pass on the burnt ends in the future, about half of them were good but the other half was very hard and inedible. I am not a cornbread fan and not a rice fan either. I would much prefer to see them offer french fries or tater tots even if I had to pay extra. I wound up throwing the cornbread in the trash. I will come back again but it may be a while.

This is my local go-to spot for BBQ. Their brisket is always on point, and their pork ribs never disappoint. My favorite of theirs, though, is the Burnt Ends!

There macaroni and cheese is awesome so are there potato wedges.
