This was my first time at a winery and vineyard. Wonderful. Victoria was an amazing server and was making sure everyone in our party was taken care of. And the food was on point with the wine. Will be back.

Fantastic wine. We werent able to do a tasting because they require reservations due covid and were sold out. The wine steward was acomodating and let us sample, so we bought a bottle of their reserve viognier to enjoy on the property. It was an elegant and refined wine that was greatly enjoyed. I cant wait to go back and try more. The property was gorgeous as well.

A beautiful place to spend your time! We were able to bring our dogs and sit outside. The staff was attentive and the food was wonderful! The wine selection was great, we tried a little bit of everything and went home with a bottle of red. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Need reservations now for taste testing and the list to choose from is reduced, but its still a nice setting. Its fall so the color of flowers is absent, but it was really pleasant out today.

LOVED this place! It has such a beautiful lawn. We visited in November and it was perfect weather to sit on the lawn with a bottle of wine. Its big enough that makes it not feel crowded even on a busy weekend. We did tastings at other wineries, but here we just relaxed and enjoyed the sun.

First time to a winery in Fredericksburg, Im spoiled for enjoying the best one, everything else is downhill from here. Beautiful weather and immaculate scenery while tasting the best wines in Texas.

Really cool winery! A short drive outside of Fredericksburg, its a perfect place to stop on your way in. Theres a lot of outdoor space to walk around and sit with friends. You also get a free wine glass with a $20 tasting. We went to a couple of other wineries and most didnt include the free glass. Wine was really good too!

Ok so I havent had their wine, but the place is beautiful and they were cool enough to let us take pics while in our cruise.

Wow! Becker Vineyards makes 1.8M bottles a year. One of the largest in Texas and are known for their Cab, just ask George W. Bush. We did the wine tasting, wine tour, and enjoyed the spacious patio outback. Great facility, people, and family owned tradition!

Hands down this venue in Fredericksburg, is the absolute best! The atmosphere in this place is everything, My wife and I did the wine tasting at the bar and the gentleman who hosted it was very knowledgeable about each wine the served. The staff is attentive and helpful. I am looking forward to future visits!

Becker Vineyards is so gorgeous! Not only do they have an amazing selection of tasty wine, it’s also the perfect place to propose and to have your engagement photo shoot at! Each location in the area is honestly an amazing photo op spot. If you’re searching for the perfect facility for your engagement, this is the place! The vineyard is absolutely beautiful! Well-kept and warm and welcoming! The wine tasting is worth the $20 price as the wine varietals are all unique and impressive. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Take the vineyard tour while youre there. They have live music on the weekends.

They certainly cater to their upper class clientele. I certainly believe the wines are amongst the best in the region, but I feel like because I didnt pull up in a Porsche and wear Rolex, I was treated a little different then those in the building that did. None-the-less, it might have been a little uppity for my taste, but they do produce good wines, and the grounds are beautiful.

Becker Vineyard is one of my favorite Fredericksburg wineries because of the people, the wines, and the layout. Great to bring people for a casual or upscale tasting experience.

The architecture and grounds are gorgeous, we just didn’t enjoy the wine as much as other nearby wineries.The tasting room didn’t feel as quaint with the wide open empty space around the bar.Very friendly staff though.

Beautiful winery!Came here for a weekend touring Fredericksburgs wineries with my girlfriend and we got a 6 sample tasting for $20. You get 6 tickets and walk up to a huge bar and order your samples. The bartenders were extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and provided suggestions. There was never a wait at the bar and our tasting was over before we knew it.After the tasting we strolled around the grounds which offered outdoor areas to enjoy wines by the glass. Becker also has a lavender farm and offers numerous lavender products.We enjoyed a number of wines and would definitely come back to Becker!

We love this winery!! We have been to Napa CA, Romona CA, and all over Texas. This one is up there in our top two to visit. Staffs great, the wine is great, and it’s just a beautiful place to sit drink a glass of wine; maybe have a cigar as well.

Great place for a Day out. The location is good for a drive outside the town. You can sit outside and have a wine tasting session. You can get 6 tastings for $20, or just get a bottle and enjoy the fire pit while watching the sun go down. There are food trucks to grab a bite as well. They do free tours of the winery as well. We spent a whole day there n definitely enjoyed it.

Excellent location, look, and ambiance. Excellent and personalized service. The employees here are so knowledgeable and willing to explain everything about the wine to you. Loved the wines I tasted here. The shaded patio was the perfect place to do the tasting. There was a free tour of the facility we enjoyed. This place is one that gets really crowded so I would recommend this be the first winery of the day to get more personal attention.

We showed up with a group of 10 of us ready to have fun, sho some wine tasting and spend some money. We were turned away and told we would have to come back another day with reservations! Meanwhile, as the lady is telling us this, parties of 6 and 8 are going by us to go wine tasting with no reservation . We told her that we would split into two groups if necessary and she said that the two groups would still equal 10 people so that wasnt possible! We went to 2 other vineyards and spent lots of money there instead!

Was looking for my favorite Becker wine culinaria sadly not in season. But always nice atmosphere and the lavender was in bloom too. Live music on a Sunday afternoon, very relaxing.

Becker Vineyards amongst the best Vineyards the area has to offer,if you have only limited time and you want to be impressed that is the place to go. We are from Austin and have been visiting Fredericksburg now several times because its just a such great day trip you can do with friends visiting and we never missed to visit the Becker Vinyard or the Auslander,what we love on the Becker Vinyard, is the great Wine selection,the friendly staff and the great outdoor place to make pictures with your friends or just relax in the sun with a glass of wine. They are always super welcoming to our dog and have actually a outdoor tasting bar where you can enjoy the wine tasting. At there shop you will find a unique selection of great gifts. Also since they have no restaurant you will ussaly find a food truck at the parking lot.

Amazing wine vineyard. Delicious reds. Relaxing views on the patio with fun games and vendors. Usually live music on the weekends.

Fantastic experience! The wines are delicious. We did a private food and wine pairing. Crystal was so knowledgeable, and pairings far exceeded our expectations! I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the winery. The white wines were good, but not anything that excited us. But the reds were all exceptional. The tasting fee was $20, but included a Reidel glass, which are often sold for around $15-20. Janice was our host and she was absolutely lovely. She took great care of us and those around us. Even though they were busy and a large operation, she didnt make us feel lost.

Its amazing, this is the OG Hill Country vineyard, its the pro euro vineyard experience you really want.

Nice vineyards but compared to a European vineyards and production the production floor is pretty messy. Still my #1 vineyard to visit in Texas.

Ive been here before and enjoyed the scenery. However when our group raced over here before 6 to have a glass of wine, we missed the fine print that said 30 minutes prior to close for last pour. Disappointing to experience when we made efforts to get there before 6 AND as much as weve bought that product together in the past! I was turned off to purchase anything in the store.FYI, castle on 290 stayed open for us yesterday when I called ahead because we were all coming from out of town.

Make sure a visit to Becker is on your list. They just started a wine pairing dinner. Tops any restaurant in the area and price for what you get is worth every penny. Beautiful vineyard. Only TX wine we have had that we really liked. Their Port was very tasty.

Great winery, great wine. Tour was interesting, high quality ingredients, high quality barrels. Not just fruit juice like some in the area.

Came in for a tasting on a Saturday. We were outside for the tasting and the ambiance was perfect. Enjoyed 6 of their wines and ended up leaving with the Fleur Savage. Definitely would visit again.

Honestly I wasnt expecting an extensive list of wines (all Texas grown), most of which are really good and an atmospehere that would rival any Napa winery

I was a the downtown Fredericksburg location a couple of weeks back and I had a glass of wine with my boyfriend. The wine was great, if a bit more costly than I expected. I also bought a bar of soap and lipbalm. I have not tried the soap yet, but the lipbalm is atrocious. When I opened it after the purchase at home it smelled like burnt plastic not lavander - Im talking about the balm itself not the container - Also, is so hard and rubbery that I cant actually use. When I put it to my lips it sticks and crumbles. It was expensive, very much so, but being from Becker Vineyards I thought I was getting a higher quality products as lavander fields are also part of the brand. I thought it was worth it, but it was a terrible purchase and a , pardon my language, a shitty product. I recommend going to the actual vineyard if you want the great wine at a reasonable price, they overprice it at the downtown location, but that is to be expected.

Attended while Lavender Fest was going on. It was nice, had a lot of choices of wine. A lot of vendors had nice items that incorporated lavender.

Really exceptional experience. We did the library tour and Rachel was lovely! She was so knowledgeable and really made it a great experience to understand the history of Becker and their wines. Will be back!

Attended a United Way fundraiser there and loved it. There was a lunch and a tasting and it was awesome. The staff, atmosphere and beauty of the place is top notch for Fredericksburg. Definitely worth a trip up.

Please dont advertise you close at 5 on a Monday so when we arrive at 435 you say we cant serve you because we stop serving 30 minutes before we close. Wasted my time. Say you close at 430 if your not gunna serve anyone after 430.

Was fun tasting the different wine selections... but wish each portion was a bit more. As a novice, I would have needed at least two portions of each taster to figure out if I liked it...

First time wine tasting. The scenery was beautiful while relaxing in the patio enjoying lunch. The wine server/hostess, Janice Lindig, was knowledgeable and entertaining. She took into consideration my preference for sweet wines and replaced my wine tasting list. Highly recommend for a short distance vacay.

Beautiful vineyard, delicious wine, amazing service!We visited Becker on a Wednesday, before lunch. We were so lucky to have been the first ones there. Having this beautiful vineyard all to ourselves was very special. It was quiet and we had time to sip and relax. Everyone at Becker was so nice! We even joined the wine club! This vineyard was recommended to us by friends, and I am glad. I suggest going early so you can really enjoy the relaxing scenery!

We did a wine tasting here, and it was wonderful! Our favorites ended up being the Dry Reisling and Dolcetto. Would love to come back!

Extremely rude robot cop who I guess is their greater. Came here to celebrate a birthday and almost got turned away the second we arrived. Greater came up to vehicle and says who are you cuz you have to have a reservation we did not. To my understanding its on their website but we did not look at their website. Robot Cop did not have to be so rude about it. How about a friendly greeting first. Other than that we had an ok time.

A taste of Napa right here in Central Texas. Warm and welcoming staff and great variety of wines. The estate grounds are beautiful so be sure to enjoy the back patio area. We purchased a bottle after our tastings and enjoyed a picnic out back. Good times!

I made a point to visit this winery as it was recommended by Wine Spectator as being one of the best in Texas. I walked in and stood at the counter and several tasting staff just looked at me as I stared back. Finally I got the hint that I had to pay for my tasting first at a separate counter. Once I bought that ticket I was able to do a tasting and was given an in-depth profile of each wine before I tasted it. The wines were mostly average, except a few that really stood out which I purchased. I didnt think Texas had the region for growing Reisling but it tasted above average. The Gewurztraminer was surprisingly good as well.

We came for my 30th birthday weekend. We came for a tasting, having a great time then an employee came and said to us, Can you please quiet down, Dr. Becker is having a meeting. The general manager advised this employee to come tell us. I could not believe it. Personally, I would love to walk into a business and hear cheerful, joyful laughter. We advised we were getting ready to leave. He then said, Okay you guys can go now. BIG MISTAKE, HUGE! We were about to drop some major cash. I dont recommend going unless you want to be surrounded by funsuckers.

We visited four different highly rated wineries in the Fredericksburg area. Our favorite was Becker. They have a nice selection of wines at a fair price, a reasonably priced tasting fee and a spacious well designed tasting room. Our wine server/host, Chris, was outstanding. She has been with Becker since they opened and knows her wines. While Texas wines are underwhelming overall, this was a bright spot. I highly recommend visiting.

I was part of a bridal shower group this past weekend. We were lucky to have a girl named Victoria as our host during the private tasting. Another group stayed over longer than their time slot, so they had to serve both parties in the private room-there was another server whose name I forget, and he also did a great job. Kudos to both of them!

The views here are amazing. Lots of shade and room so you can relax while you sip.The tempranillo is definitely reccomended.

This winery is BEAUTIFUL. It was super busy because it was a holiday weekend, but we still had a great time. Madison did a wonderful job explaining the wine and making us feel comfortable. The $20 is with it for the wine tasting AND the take home glass. Will definitely be going back next time we are in town.

We went to a pairing today. Mmmmm. Loving the wine and winery the staff continues to impress. Yes, the appetizer selection was good, but Chrystals company and commentary was great. We went to the tasting room for lunch and met Katherine another wonderful young lady who just wanted to make sure our visit was enjoyable! Thank you ladies, well be back soon.

It is pretty nice. Good set up of goods produced on the premises. The wine is fine. The servers have no problem explaining the make up and taste of the wines. Very informative.

The place charges $20.00 dollars for six samples of wine tasting. One of the first places to have a winery out there. But its okay especially charging double the price compared to other places. Dont forget your free wine glass with purchase.

Decent wine but didnt find anything I LOVED, or I would even consider was easy drinking. They have either very dry or super sweet, not much in between. The staff is nice in the main room.

Memorable all around experience. Great wines, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, surprisingly good food truck (on weekends). A great stop for a two or three hour outing. I’m going back again today.

This is a beautiful place to visit, staff was friendly, and they gave us a free tour which was really nice. But it felt like they cater more to the top %1 demographic, which doesnt mean thats a bad thing, we just felt like we didnt quite fit in being in our mid 20s. The wine wasnt bad, but nothing to write home about. While we were doing our tasting, I felt pretty rushed to get through it, and Im someone who likes to take their time a bit when tasting wine. Overall, Becker Vineyards isnt a bad place to visit, but with all the other options of wineries in the area I probably wouldnt be visiting again.

Of all the wineries we planned to visit this one was the one we thought we would enjoy least. Boy was I surprised. This place was PACKED, which I understand is the norm. It was $12 for 6 tastings + you get to keep your glass. I was surprised I enjoyed so many of the wines we chose. The tour was wonderful. We have been on many brewery tours, this was nice to see behind the scenes and the history of Becker. I did think after the tasting it was a little much as it was $12 for any glass of wine you wanted + keep the glass or $8 without the glass. One of the wines we wanted was the Rose which was $16/bottle so we bought the bottle instead and same with the Malbec. I guess that is the trick there for them to sell more. We also ended up getting some food, which was good but a little pricey for what you got. Overall we loved Becker and the ambiance.
