Only reason I give it 5 star is because its a special place related to me, my 8th G.G.Fathers House He & his son also my 7thG.G.Father built in the 1700s . I drove fir 4 12hr days from California to just look at the outside. BECAUSE OF THE ( another name for the FLU) stupid FAKE Covid scare!Couldnt fly here because again the scare tactics so I drove. While I had a hip replacement surgery totally canceled ( for april!)AGAIN DUE TO THE BRAINWASHING .So I was willing to use my legs while I can still barely walk to come...And they are closed?Total heart broken. . I NEEDED TO SEE THIS HOUSE AS ALL of my family is gone.Im glad I set foot on the property but Im empty of the feeling of my family in the house.Just wished it wasnt so darn far away from the stupid San Bernardino Ca , I now live.

The foundations Schifferstadt Architectural Museum is the second oldest house in the county and the oldest open to visitors. Built in 1758 by Elias and Albertina Brunner, it is an upper middle class home that shows how a leader of the German pioneer community lived. A National Historic Landmark, it is one of the best examples anywhere of German-influenced home design. Coolest feature is its heating system--clean, energy efficient, radiant heating. It was a technology used only by German settlers.
