My mom & I discovered this theatre on Christmas Eve on a whim. It was such a lovely experience. I miss theatres like this one. I felt like a kid again. It’s old school, right down to the hospitality of the people working there. I’m writing this review in the pandemic because it’s one of the places I hope to go to when the world reopens. I really hope it is still there at that time.

Good service you can get a lot of refills for a big bucket of popcorn.

The theater has a small neighborhood feel which I really enjoyed. While its true the seats dont recline to the degree they do at some other theaters, the seats are very comfortable. The entry price for tickets was good. The concession stand is quite pricey, quite....

Old school but it’s an amazing theater that has an amazing staff, a great concession stand. Also, everyone in the box office that I had runs in with are very polite and friendly. Friendly managers that knows how to make customers happy. I would recommend this theater to every single one of my friends.

Bow Tie Franklin Square Cinemas is very well located on Hempstead Turnpike. They have very nice people working in there. They always have all the shows available on the market ready for you guys to enjoy. Bow tie Franklin Square Cinemas is excellent for our community. Please, go support our local movie theaters. My wife and I have just seen Captain Marvel. Very entertaining.

The theatre is small, well kept, and is officially family owned. Plus tickets are 6-8 bucks! Needless to say Ill be back.

Theater listings list wrong times on our 15 minutes early arrival actually meant we were 15 minutes late. And this was a Google listing. Told the employees but they said only fandango lists the proper times. Um...why I ask? How many other customers were gipped of the start of the movies? If you know this why dont you fix this? Feel like we were ripped off. Either take ownership that youre Franklin squares bow tie cinema, fix it or have it removed so your customers can trust the schedule.

Good theater. Show room are smaller and more intimate rather than just rows and rows and rows. Chairs are very comfortable even though they don’t recline.

Its my favorite theater to go to. People are nice, food is fine, and its less people while watching a movie... which means its quiet.

Theatre was small, clean and comfortable. An elevator wouldve been nice for my mother. Also no parking lot. Street parking only and that wasnt easy to find. But inside the theatre was great.

Have been going to this movie theater since the 1980s, & it feels like a second home to me: most of the new releases (like Avengers: Endgame) to even selected limited release films (Shin Godzilla), this theater is worth the time getting to & enjoying an excellent experience at the local box office! ️

Favorite place to see a movie. Local theater, one minute from home. The theaters are small, but the screens are big, and the sound system is the best Ive ever heard, 10 times better than the sound in larger, more cavernous theaters. The seats can recline slightly, and are perfectly comfortable and just the right size. The rows are spaced far enough apart so you have enough leg room. The concession stand is good. The bathrooms are always clean. If youre a regular movie goer it pays to join the Bow Tie membership because it pays for itself.

The theater room was full of trash everywhere when I stepped in. It smelled, the floors were sticky, and there was trash everywhere. Thankfully the cleaners came and cleaned things up before the movie started. The theater sound could have been a little bit louder but it wasnt bad at all.

Myself and family love this movie theater. The deals are great. No other theater I rather be. Other movie theaters not bowtie are extremely high priced and if it were not for bowtie... I would have to wait till the movies are out on DVD for a while before we could buy them. Bow tie have affordable family package deals and if you go solo or dolo Im sure there is something there. Nice small theater. They dont try to take all your money just to watch a show with your family. One not so pleasant thing is the bathroom is upstairs, being that its an older theater I advise all to make their way up to the restrooms before you feel you will bust.

After passing Bow Tie Cinemas these past 10 years whether by foot, bus, or by car I found that once I was inside of said movie theater it reminded me of other theaters within Nassau and Queens as well as Suffolk in terms of comfort and sounds. My only reason sorry I mean a few reasons for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 stars is there is no clear sign for parking if you came by car in which you either need to be in the neighborhood or come by bus, the price of a matinee ticket on any given day, and like any and almost every other movie theater -- the annoyance of other people checking their phones. Despite all of that I enjoyed being to said movie theater and I would probably go again because of the early showings that it advertised.

I went to the movie several weeks ago because the weather was so hot ithought i would cool off in the movie. Well I was very disappointed, itwasnt at all pleasant in the theater because it was so warm, eventhough the air conditioner was on.. I couldnt wait for the movie toend so I could leave. I think they have a very poor air conditioningsystem.. I will never so back there again on a hot day.

Bow Tie Cinemas isnt a bad theater, but it just looks like it needs a lot of renovations. The carpeting and wallpaper looks like it hasnt been changed since the 90s (and Ive been coming here since then so Im pretty sure nothings changed).The staff is very friendly, the prices of snacks are outrageous, but thats standard movie theater affair.The theater we saw the movie in is a lot smaller than I remember, and after going to locations with recliners and reserved seating, its hard to justify going to Bow Tie Franklin Square. The only reason I did is because they were one of the only theaters still playing Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

The movie quality was good and so was the popcorn. The theatre was a little small but big enough for me.

The best way to relax with family. Tuesday is a great deal and with 4 kids, were always looking for a deal

Used to sneak in there in HS. Im kinda disappointed that its still looks exactly the same. Im not skinny anymore and those seats are highly uncomfortable. On the bright side, its never crowded.

This movie theater is my go to place to see the latest movies. Its close and comfortable. The staff are helpful because one time I arrived early with friends so we had to wait for the previous showing to finish and the staff to cleanup but when they did, one of them let us know it was available and let us in. Its a bit small, so if there is a really popular movie that everyone is going to, I would recommend going real early before it gets packed

Tiny and old are the best words to describe this cinema. Not to mention the restrooms are on the 2nd floor walk up, not a problem if you dont have any injuries. I do like the newer seats and the free refills on large popcorn and drinks... perfect for a family of four to share.

My granddaughter and I had a great time at the movies yesterday. The theater was small and very clean. Found parking in the municipal parking lot across the street behind Taco Bell, which was a definite plus.

Small theaters, no parking, bathroom is on the 2nd floor (hope youre not in theater 1 and have to pee),and everything tends to be broken (like the ticket pickup machines).I like the place because its close, the staff is friendly, and its a little cheaper than AMC. The video and audio quality is nice, but they dont offer much else.

Still an attractive stop for movie going even by todays standards! Went here once and it offered the experience that a movie goer needs! This is one theatre you wont see disappear anytime soon, they know the movie experience & youll feel like wearing a bow tie too after the aftermath of it all!

Prices are great but the whole theatre is really dirty/messy. Usually find a lot of garbage laying around. Also the popcorn is always so oversalted.

Dont theater. Went to a matinee and it was still expensive. Kids ticket was still 9 bucks. Can use a make over.

I went to see Fences on Friday night. I paid half of what I would have paid on Monday at another theatre! Comfortable seats and not too crowded! The first theatre was sold out. I used to go to this theatre years ago. Glad to be reacquainted with them!
