Lovely place to chill for the entire family

As a mother of 5, we were STOKED to have this water park open up, the kids love it! But as a mother of 5, there are some issues Im having here...The staff... are waaaaay too laid back and thats pretty concerning. Keeping their attention to safety of patrons is much more important than having your face in your phone. As for the atmosphere and likeability its a 4, but staff and questionable safety measures is why I gave it 3

We celebrated a late summer afternoon today at the Juniper Hill Aquatic Center. My son and his friend enjoyed the water slides and the rock wall, while I relaxed on the lazy river.

Great place to take your family. There is a little something for everyone...from the tiniest baby on up. There is, however, not enough lounge seating if its a busy day. Suggest taking a blanket to sit on the grass. We had a great time.

Incredibly affordable. Fun for the whole family all day long.

This place is amazing. Wish we had something like this in Louisville. Yes, we drove from Louisville to visit this awesome place. My 3 year old twins LOVE it and so do I. We will be back.

While visiting family here in frankfort we came across this water park and let me tell you... We were not disappointed!!! Back home we dont have a water park this nice unless you want to travel 40 mins to the closest amusement park. We spent 5 hrs there with a 4yr old and a 10 yr old. Even after 5 hrs they still hadnt had enough. Water slides for the big people, splash pad for kids, lazy river, Olympic pool with rock climbing wall and they have a concession stand on site. Clean bathrooms. Security on site watching the exits to protect the little ones. Next yr we are buying season passes.

Nice place. Pools are clean. Staff pretty friendly. Only complaint I have is that the womens bathroom was not clean and no toilet paper in any of the stalls.

Love this place we drive an hour a few times a summer just to chill here for the day! Not a zero degree entry for large pool. But they do have an accessible ramp they can put in the water. Only complaint is you have to ask someone to do it. Should remain there!

This little space has so much fun packed inside for the kids. Prices are cheap, and they have a concession stand. It does get crowded at times, but theres something for everyone here.

Its pretty nice but should have been bigger not enough room for people in frankfort to get in if it reaches its capacity and that sucks so go early or call before u go!!

What a joke! We drove 20 min extra one way because the info said coolers ok and lockers available. Thats 20 mi. Wasted! Neither is correct. Place is overseen by teens while friendly have no clue. Ladies bathroom is in need of more overview. Place much smaller than what picture looks like. Unfortunately not a place I can recommend and we have been to many in many different places.

Exercise area, pool great, sand box, jungle gym, and plenty of picnic tables.

This pool is awesome! My 9 and 6 year old had a blast! They loved the slides and Lily Pads. We are definitely going again!!

Nice place for kids, but it is very crowded and there are not enough chairs. There should be enough chairs to accommodate the number of people paying admission (or close to it). Also, more shaded areas are needed.

This place is fun, especially for my kids. I think its a great place to go, and feels very safe. There are plenty of lifeguards working there, and they seem to be doing a very fine job at watching out for the safety of others. It does get crowded, which for myself can be uncomfortable, but other than that, its a great place to go and let the kids have some fun for the day.

This is a new (opened 2015), public water park. It replaced an aging public pool at the same site. There are water activities for the entire family. For younger children, theres a spray area and wading pool. Older kids will enjoy a small water slide and deeper wading pool. Nice lazy river and two larger water slides round out the fun.

Fairly fun place...just always crowded, unless you go an hour or two before closing.

The most fun weve had as a family at a water park! Fits all ages with splash pad, small, medium and large slides, lap pool and lazy river. Reasonably priced and friendly staff!

What a great place for family fun at the pool! They have food, drinks, snacks and different size pool areas for kids of all ages. Definitely worth the trip!

This was super fun! We went on one of the busiest days in summer after our Natural Bridge Hike and it was great to have a variety of things to do. Not only that, they have concessions!

Nice addition to Frankfort. All my friends kids love it there. Slides/splashers/mini pools/concession. Nice for kids parties. Theres no adult breaks, when crowded u can only go once in the lazy river, the bathrooms are disgusting

Juniper Hills Aquatic Center is definitely a step up form the old public pool that sue to be here. I personally think that its pretty fantastic. I had been waiting years for a legit water-park to open in Frankfort!The pool area in generally clean and the life guards seem to stay pretty attentive despite their usual young age. The slides are fun and the diving boards work just fine!One time a kid pooped in the pool and they took it pretty seriously. They cleared everybody out and quickly sent people to take care of the accident and then had the area closed down for about 2 hours while the chemicals did its magic.The food isnt super high quality but its reasonable as far as price is concerned.Now the bathrooms can get pretty gross :P Ive never seen anybody in there cleaning or mopping. And theres always puddles of water by the toilets which means youre more than likely stepping in SOME nasty liquids. And it often smells pretty bad. I walked in one time and there was a full diaper laying on the floor. :(Other than the bathrooms, this is actually a really nice water-park, especially for Frankfort! Fun for the whole family!(Update)Now in 2019 most life guards are unfriendly, concession stand worker got smart alac with me, it was pretty funny but still he was pretty rude lol!Also you cant do backflips off of the diving boards which is pretty lame lol. Okay update over, 3 star rating added :p

Me and the kids went last year and they had a blast. The only thing I didnt like was having to wait for someone to exit the pool before we could enter. Also the loves the twilight hour prices.

The place is awesome, the water is great. The people are rude, vulgar, potty mouthed. I really feel for the life guards here. They have a lot to deal with. Some humans just dont deserve the air they breath.

The female lifeguards are do rude and they dont pay attention there trying to show there body off to the Males. And my friend almost drowned and the lady on the divingn board didnt even see so they lifeguard by the slide jumped in and saved her

Just got here, thunderstorms, delayed 3 times and won’t give raincheck!! People have left, not just sitting in cars but left and they act as if they can not do raincheck for the handful offolk that are left. Just GREEDY!!

This pool is small for the only public pool in Frankfort. If you observe no one is swimming. There is no room. The guards slouch in their chairs and are not controlling the kids well. Uncomfortably crowded, actually nasty. It was a great idea just not big enough for a whole city.

Its a nice place to cool off.. however I think the age limit is stupid 15 or younger has to have an adult on the premises..

My family loves the new aquatic center. We visited multiple times this summer. Great prices on everything, clean, and loads of fun.

I like pools , slides and the features in the facility but its ridden with many issues. There are steps in the pool that could be marked better. The floor of the pool is finished very rough and its easy to get bruised for slight slips and falls in shallow water, and more so for kids. The bathrooms/changing rooms are just awful. A few curtain rods are broke, the toilets are unimaginable and its 2016, it could use doors and get rid of curtains more so when adults and kids share the same facility.

Every lifeguard was yelling at me when I was trying to jump off the diving board and when I was waiting for my turn to jump she yelled at me saying you didnt jump off right you have to jump forward
