A nice covered bridge with some great craftsmanship. Unfortunately graffiti covers the interior and entrance way.

Nice to see a covered bridge. I know this is a rebuild by craftsmen after the previous bridge was destroyed in a flood. It is constructed as close to original as possible. If only it was not a target for graffiti.

We love going here. Its beautiful. The only downfall was scaring away some people in a car who were obviously doing something they shouldnt have been doing.

I was really disappointed by all the horrible graffiti that covered the bridge. Sad that such a historic and pretty spot isnt respected. There wasnt a lot of parking but it was a tranquil area.

First time there. Pretty cool.

This area is so peaceful. I love to have picnics there. No one bothers you. It is off the beaten path but so worth the drive. They have a beautiful plaque up with the story of the bridge. You are allowed to walk across the bridge which spans the Elkhorn Creek. Popular fishing spot. Always check weather because that area does flood.

The sound of the water running all around was wonderful.

Switzer Bridge was a cool thing to see. Yes, it was covered in graffiti but even that gave it a special charm of its own. Worth driving hundreds of miles out of your way for? I wouldnt! But as a time killer in the morning for us, 2o mins out of our way- it was perfect!

Glad we went. Its been nicely refurbished although covered in graffiti. The sponsors were clearly much more interested in having their names posted than they were in telling us about the history of the place. Too bad. Id have liked to know more.

Great park. The creek here is great for swimming or putting in for a paddle. This is a overlooked stretch of creek to paddle, and great if the levels are a little high.

Used to have picnics here as a child! Great memories, not as pretty as the original but in all..... Great effort and one heck of a heart-felt memorial!!!! Great save!!! Now generations to come can make memories of their own!!!!
