The place is always clean and well kept. I come to fish and watch the guys run the jet skies. I also come for my RC speed runs. The guys out here run on Friday sat , sun. The cars are all amazing and with lots of speed. Ppl ride bike some fly kites. Love it here.

Visited their new Riverside Café for breakfast and I was impressed. Young new owners are upping their game with better food and service. The breakfast was nothing special, but tasty and substantial, and the coffee was good. Of course, the river was beautiful. Will return!

Great stop on the Kentucky River in Pool 4. If you are traveling up the Kentucky River from the Ohio, they have gas, beer, ice, soft drinks, snacks and a cafe/grill during the summer. You can arrange overnight dockage if you call ahead or contact the head boat. You can get shuttles to nearby hotels. You can walk into their historic downtown from the dock. Great bunch of experienced river people run the dock. You will feel welcome as long as you approach with no wake from your boat.

Great place to dock. The dock is a non-profit cooperative/membership club, but they can arrange overnight moorings when visiting the Frankfort area. They sell gas, ice, beer, soft drinks, snacks and have a grill/cafe. Geat waypoint when navigating up the Kentucky River. (A cruisers must now that locks 1 - 4 are open on Summer weekends.
