One word: Spectacular, amazing, and unique. And spectacular.Conveniently sandwiched between Louisville and Lexington, this place features the best art in the state. The sculptures are fun, funky, and sure to please those who love art and those who dont care about art. It may be the most enjoyable exhibit I have ever visited because it combines two of my favorite things: parks and art.Setup: On what appears to be a personal farm, the owners have opened their doors to the public allowing visitors to freely traverse tractor-cut pathways from one brightly colored sculpture to the next. Admission is free, however there is a donation box that is worthy of some folding money on any visit. Just off the small gravel parking lot, there are restrooms and a few tables and chairs to rest up. My only suggestion, for there might need to be a few more benches scattered throughout for those that need to rest up a bit more often. This place is a must-see. Its tucked away, so do yourself a favor find your way. You will not be disappointed.

This is a cool park, tucked away in the outskirts of Frankfort. There are tons of sculptures spread across 30 acres of land. It is a self directed tour with plenty of benches to stop and rest of need be. This is a great place to spend an afternoon, picnic, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place just outside of Frankfort. It’s a beautiful grounds with lots of interesting sculptures. I’m anxious to see how this place grows and what they do with it. We went during Covid so it’s hard to judge everything about this place. For instance, no one greeted us and we kind of had to navigate in our own. They do have a map online but hard to see on a phone. Again, it’s Covid time so everything is out of whack. I highly advise visiting early morning or on cooler days because there is hardly any shade. I love that this place is here and I would recommend to anyone who loves art and the beauty of nature.

This place is really cool I would give it five stars but it was really hard to find my way around I know I missed several sculptures and had to go down many dead ends and wasted a lot of steps. They had a downloadable map but I had problems with my data and could not get it but this is a great stop without it.

I was looking for a reason to go for a day trip while at work on a Friday afternoon, and the park was hosting a philharmonic concert the next day on Saturday. The park was inspiring and worth every moment we spent there. It was a hot day and ice cream and snacks were provided for free.Ive told several people about the park. Everyone should go.Its a bit of an adventure just trying to find it, but trust your directions and the field opens up to you.Make sure you bring water bottles in the summer. There are water fountains, but its more convenient.I still find myself day dreaming and my mind drifts to the works I visited in the park. Pictures dont do justice to something 20 feet tall that you can touch and spin and stand under.Like all good art, you leave with the feeling that your sense of the world has been challenged in some way.

I had a great time at this place. I stopped here while on a road trip from Missouri to Virginia. It was the perfect place to stretch my legs and walk around. There were no paved sidewalks, simply open fields, with mowed paths. There were sculptures that encouraged climbing as well as those that requested be left untouched . The paths themselves were wide enough to fit a group of people and enclosed enough to keep the next sculpture more of a reveal; which was nice.My son was able to run and burn his energy and I was able to enjoy the art, hopefully instilling an appreciation of it in him as well. There’s a donation box near the entrance/exit . I know not many people carry cash but the place is free so leaving what you can helps, I’m sure.

I really enjoyed this park. I loved that we walked in expecting to see a little display area for the art but that is not what we got. If you are looking for someplace different to visit, then you should check this place out. Best to go when there is some kind of event. If you are handicap, it can be a big issue with parking and being able to get around. This is a former farm that has been converted into an artistic sculpture park. Rolling hills, outdoors, and a lot to explore. It is worth a visit, but check their website first.
