Open Mic night for comedy. It was disappointing though the price was only $10. Most of the comedians we saw (we left at intermission) werent funny and reading from the notes. Probably a good practice session for them.

Great place to hear music. Not so big so you can feel a connection with the performers. Not expensive. Free parking. Serves beer, wine, tea coffee, hot chocolate and really good brownies. Very comfortable, affordable places to check out musicians you might or might not know. And always looking for volunteers.......

I purchased a replacement door for a rental home and watched their work and was very pleased. When the garage door at my home required service I called upon them. The service man did an excellent job and fixed a number of problems in addition to what was requested. He took great efforts to make sure that the door was adjusted properly. I was not even aware that it was mis-aligned until he showed me. Really outstanding service. I watched a full installation and repair. I am a do-it-yourselfer and am very particular how work is done. I was extremely pleased with their products and services

Great intimate venue to catch a band! Ive seen Magic Dick and Shun Ng here multiple times. You can check out the art upstairs too! They sell beer and wine, and treats! Very laid back friendly place. Plenty of parking out back. Lots of restaurants around to enjoy before or after a show.

Well done, repurposed building. Went for a film festival, and the venue was a good fit for that. Good clean bathrooms and a good beer selection too! Also, always nice to have off-street parking at a venue.

Fantastic little arts center right in downtown Framingham. They have a full gallery suite on their second floor, constantly full of artwork from numerous local artists and are always rotating art in and out. They host events such as poetry readings, live music every week and figure drawing sessions twice a month. I would definitely recommend anyone whos interested in getting involved in the arts in Framingham to swing by.

I enjoy a local band called Session Americana (usually see their shows in Cambridge). When I visited the band website I was pleasantly surprised they were playing in MetroWest. A 10 minute back roads drive is nice on a Friday night. When we arrived at Amazing Things, we were indeed amazed. Parking was abundant in a lot behind the venue. People were friendly. Seats were extremely comfortable (and on risers creating a stadium seating effect). Refreshments were just enough for an evening of entertainment - $5 for local Jacks Abbey brew and wine and $2 for delicious homemade amazing killer brownies with chocolate chips in them! Yummy. Show was great. Amazing Things is officially on my radar.

All the staff here are so friendly and welcoming! They have a lot of fun and different events! Also, this past holiday season, (winter 2016), they hosted a very expansive holiday market, featuring beautiful handmade wares from local artists, ranging from unique jewelry to knit hats to aromatic soaps to fantastic art pieces! I hope they do it again!

Awesome place! Located in an old firehouse in downtown Framingham it has a great live performance space downstairs (seats ~160) with excellent sound and lighting, plus a nice sized gallery space upstairs that hosts many local art exhibitions throughout the year. Every weekend they play host to a variety of musical acts (Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Acapella, etc...) as well as local theater productions, comedy shows, poetry slams and more. Beer and Wine are available at most shows, and the Amazing Killer Brownies are well... Amazing! They also host several open mics during the mid week, including a Jazz Jam and Folk/Acoustic Open Mic that have been running for over 10 years. If youve never been, definitely check it out!

I love Amazing Things Art Center. It is still surviving mostly from community support, and still encouraging talented people of all ages to show off their creativity, whether thru art. Music, poetry, or educational projects. I recently had a very delightful evening there, listening to The Kelly Girls, a lively all-gal band that plays Celtic/Irish/Sottish ditties, fast-paced sea shanties, and also other traditional and original folk music. Great harmonies along with acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, penny whistles, and boudrain drums all contribute to delicious recipes for a full flavored evening. There is also a marvelous art gallery on the 2nd floor, all wheelchair and elevator access, and off street parking. If you havent been here yet, do check it out. You wont be disappointed
