This park used to be an awesome place . Now the pond is very bad and it smells. People come here to drink beer. U can no longer walk around the pond, its been locked up.

If it had a public restroom it would get 5 stars. This is the first place I found ducks in a while. Theres a nice childrens playset on both sides of the pond and the paved paths are clear of trash. There is a skatepark, but an absence of barbecue grills drove someone to use a picnic table instead. On one side of the park theres a nice pavilion with a large outdoor stone fireplace, suitable for fall events. At least one fellow thought it was nice enough to fish, and there are multiple access points to the waters edge. I wish there was a little bit more shade on the trails.

The park is nice and quiet. Lots of dragonflys and squirrels roaming. But, people have come to drink at the park so around every bench there are tons of beer caps and trash on the ground.Its funny how people go to the park for its clean, peaceful, and serene settings just to leave their garbage everywhere. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Quiet, nice scenery, and lovely trails !! I give 3 stars because they dont keep it up as well as they should, as far as grass being cut and trash in the pond.

This park is pretty good. Its not always the cleanest but its not like theres just overbearing junk everywhere, just the occasional broken soda bottle in the parking lot or trash in the picnic areas. Both playgrounds are swell. The walking paths are quite nice and let you see everything around the park, but theres almost always construction blocking the path in at least one spot. There was a bridge to cross the mouth of the large pond there but its been deemed unsafe to cross and now its completely blocked, which is a shame as it was one of the best things about the park. The pond sometimes has a fountain on in the middle and theres always ducks and turtles to see. Theres also a baseball field, mini skate park, and a tennis net as well. I dont recommend going too late when its getting dark though because the neighborhood right off the freeway can get a little sketchy.

We really enjoyed our visit to our neighborhood park. The space is great for a walk, feeding ducks, or playing on the playground. My only complaint is the amount of trash people have left. We saw a lovely crane on our walk.

Water needs a cleaning ASAP smells so bad this is a park that I used to visit all the time when I was a kid it used to be so beautiful now that I have my own children we paid a visit 3 days ago and it wasnt the same water has gotten so dirty has a lot of trash just the smell itself keeps you from walking. I really hope they do something about it its a beautiful park.

They need to fix the bridge. Who want to walk/jog around a park you cant go around. And I would go there as a kid and stand on that bridge. The breeze was so nice in summer. Dont take my child hood memories from me like that!

A good place to spend a good day eating at lunch time

Love getting some exercise in with the kids here. Looks to be some good catfish in the pond. Always very busy fill with lots of ppl.

Good place to walk and fishing

Great atmosphere and nice place to go walking and feed the ducks... if you can get around the trash. The sad thing is the ducks hangout on the shoreline where all the egg cartons, beer bottles and cups have accumulated. Even the grassy fields have gas station cups, receipts, and plastic bags strewn about. Maybe I just came at a bad time of the year.

Nice place, just wish they would strain the water or something to get all the trash floating on the edge of the lake..it cant be good for the ducks out there...wouldnt take much to fix it up, come on city of Fort Worth!

This could be an even better park if the city parks department wouId clear the vegetation from around the lake so that it is even more visible from more angles of the walking trail. Ive been going to this park for years and never had any type of problems with any people that are there, and will continue to visit in the future.

Nice park over all only complaint is it so trashy. Theres literally trash everywhere kind of felt bad for the ducks

I like this park. Close to my Mothers house, a nice pretty trail around a small body of water, a cool playground, with playground equipment for younger, and older children. Great place to take kids and have a good time.

I like this park, the trail is long for walks and there are plenty of stairs, benches and a dirty pond with ducks. As with any park, would not reccomend this place at night as the area isnt the greatest. All in all, I would come again.

This water is getting really grimy. Needs some love. Poor ducks

This was my childhood park and back then it was awesome, but now you have trash in the lake and I have yet to see any city officials attempt to clean it up

In all honesty the surrounding area is a little sketchy, but the park itself is beautiful. There is some trash in the lake, but they have a mini skate park, playgrounds, picnic areas, places to cookout, and a nice walking trail. I really enjoy this park.

My grandkids love to feed DUCKS when went last week the lake was filly need to be clean out

This is one of my favorite parks.. So peaceful and serene..

It was a big mistake to go fishing here I caught 6 turtles on accident and zero fish too many turtles they will eat your bait in no time.

It is dirty, trash everywhere , the walk trail has been cut by a fence that people dont respects by the way the water in the pond its stuck, it is not nice any more.

Nice park for jogging, cook outs or an intimate picnic. The grass is always freshly cut and trimmed but the lake is a little yucky. It is not artificial as far as I know, so its to be expected.

Love this park! You would never believe that something so large and beautiful is actually right off of the hwy on the east side! They even have a miniature skate park/area, not to mention a pond with a fountain. If youve never experienced this park you are definitely missing out. Go check it out..you can jog on its paved paths, bring the kids to play on the playground, or bring a fishing pole and a friend to see what you might catch in the pond. Yes, it has everything there.

The walking path around the lake has been closed on the north side for a while.

This park is scary at night. Be careful to never go here alone, lots of people actually camp out here lol they have a little colt or something. During the day its not too bad tho!

We used our rc boats in the lake but the moss was to thick so we had to leave.

This place is in Fort Worth off Lakeshore Drive. A lot of times ethnic people like to hang out up there and play dominoes do a little drinking and socialize.

Its quiet here but i just wish that the water could be cleaned more often..

Duck pond...a wonderful atmosphere

Nice park with a good sized gazebo and a prettt view from the patio. Nice walking trail and theres fish in the lake. They could really use bathrooms instead of the one porta-potty in the parking lot though.

I like to take my son to the playground and also to go feed the ducks. Its pretty packed on the weekends. And they know they can do better with the port o potty. Its always sooooo disgusting. And for such a large park there is only ONE there and its not even in the middle of the park.

Bugs were kind a problem, I recommend bringing bug spray, but other than that it was great. There was a good place for the kids to play and for some to just chill, theres also a great trail for someone to go walking or running.

Very pretty park with lots of grassy areas and trees. Also has lots of benches and trash cans. The park is well maintained, and has a cool looking pavilion, skate park, two play grounds, and very nice walking/jogging/biking trail. My only complaint is that there does seem to be a lot of trash in the water of the lake and in the surrounding creek. People should not litter so much. There are readily available trash cans everywhere.

Great park to work out, let the kids run around, or grill. Its huge with 2 playgrounds and a duck pond.

Great place to bring the kids. However, half of the trail was blocked off and has been for several months waiting on repairs, and there was quite a bit of trash at the playground, pavilion, and in the lake.

Great playgrounds for kids, they are currently updating one side of the park with more features. You can fish but it isnt a great choice. It does have a concrete 1 mile long sidewalk wrapping around the park which is great for runners or walkers.

The bridge is gone! On the north side of the park seems to be fenced off. No reason explained on the rude sign posted on the fence. Be warned...

Very nice local for its location. And the best part about it is that these nosy people you mind encounter the, as in have once, are surprisingly polite. I will say the city should vote a couple more grounds keepers to maintain the amount of trash I have seen days later after a patron family BBQ.

I was appalled by the filth of this place it was absolutely disgusting. It was as if a 2 ton heavy disgusting thing went in there and make things more disgusting somehow... Oh wait that was My Kids Closet nevermind

This is not the best, has lots of room for improvement. It wasnt clean, lots of mosquitoes. The body of water was stagnant.
