I absolutely love this bar. My wife and I are faithful customers who come here at least once a week. Our bartender knows our names and even pours our favorite drinks while we are talking to the door girl. By far the nicest bar staff Ive ever met. The drinks are cheap and the bathrooms are always clean. Military gets in free.

Nice looking place and nice people. I had second thoughts about coming here but the reviews were good and Im glad we did. We had fun dancing here. The inside is not smoking, but that is a county law, and the have pool tables and Cornhole bags.

This bar has gone from 100 to ZERO! The new manager has gotten rid of all decent employees, destroyed the following of customers, and taken his job from “serious” to dictatorship. I’m currently here at midnight on a Friday and the club is dead. Bartenders are “cut” and no longer serving, the manager accuses people of being over the limit arbitrarily, and the bars only have about 5 bottle in stock. If they’re open at all. A year ago this was the place to be. Now, it’s the place NOT to be!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If they don’t get new staff, they will be out of business within 6 months. I used to work there, the club is straight garbage now.

Not what it used to be. Constantly throwing people out for no reason because management and bouncers have ego problems. Has never happened to me but I have witnessed it so many times. Its just not fun anymore. Older crowd and pretty trashy most of the time. Definitely not the place to go.

Absolutely garbage.....do not waste your time driving here thinking youll have a good time or hearing any country. I cant believe they are called electric cowboy when it should be called the electric rap bar. This place is so empty they should have paid me to walk in not the other way around.

Sadly it was a waste of a date night. :/ went on a friday night and barely NO ONE in the bar. The dance floor was empty nearly all the time save maybe 2 people. Go to the EC in Lewisville instead. It is worth the drive instead of here.

I love coming to this dancing bar, but every time i come here, most of the slow country songs are not as enjoyable due to high Bass levels. Also it is near impossible to hold a conversation with friends right next to me during less popular songs even.Hoping for even the slightest improvement as the crowd i sit with are weekly guests.

Tried to go to this place, looked busy, lots of men wearing casual cloth shorts outside smoking because you can’t smoke inside. The gentleman shook our hands (2 males and myself) and let us in the door. The lady taking money at the door asked my boyfriend if he had any other shorts (he was wearing cloth shorts and dresses neatly not “sagging” as they call it) we weren’t allowed in and I think this place discriminated against him.. because we parked in the parking lot, and watched a white man get into the club wearing the EXACT type of shorts! Very insulting!

When we feel like meeting up with our good friends, Its always fun. We all love to dance and just have fun!! This is the perfect place for dancing great music and friendly staff

Cheap drinks, I mean cheap. Some nights they have 50 cent drink specials. Perfect for the drunkard on a budget. Cool atmosphere, music not too loud. Only a 4 star because you can smoke inside and as an ex smoker it makes me have cravings for one all night.

Dead bar nobody really goes to anymore unless their friends work there. I like the manager/owner whatever he is but hes really degraded business. I mean really who has a shooting at the bar and has customers flocking to them? Its gone severely downhill in the yr that Ive lived here.

Good mixed crowd. Normally only a $5 cover. Drinks and shots are priced very well even on Fridays and Saturdays. Drinks are always strong. Amazing mix of country, hip hop & pop music. Lots of line dances too!

Discrimination. I (dark skinned man) could not get in due to wearing casual cloth type of shorts with minimal designs on them. The lady told me it had to be Jeans or khakis. So I turn around and walk about..5 minutes later i Watched a caucasian man get in wearing striped shorts..moral of the story they pick and choose here.

First time there & the music was no good. they played old country music & old dance music but I will say the drinks were reasonably priced. I think they need to up grade the DJ with better music.

I have enjoyed going to the Electric Cowboy every time I went. The only issue I have personally is the smoking, which you cant change. Just gotta live with it. A lot of good memories here, though.

There was a near death last night and the managers and staff rendered aid to this man from two registered nurses and said ya ya everyone wants to be a hero. Instead of making everyone go outside the music kept playing. When it finally stopped they turned the lights on and used the DJ booth to tell everyone to get off the dance floor. People were gawking and taking pictures. Disgusting. Not only that but the bar backs and bouncers shouldve kept everyone calm and made them leave. After paramedics fought their way thru the crowd and got the man in the ambulance they turned the music right back on like nothing happened I am baffled and disappointed in how they handled this situation.

I came from way out of town. They had a total of 3 other people in there on a sunday night. We ordered drinks and shortly after they kicked me out for wearing shorts. Lost 3 customers also we had a person of color with us so we think that might have been the actual reason they kicked me out. Not impressed would not reccomend.

I use to never want to miss a weekend here but lately there have been people taking beer onto dance floor n getting the floor too wet to two step on.....unless u like hopping over puddles

They play the same songs over and over I guess I’m just the only one who doesn’t really “get it” .... other than that everything’s great there nice people and clean

My basis for comparison is a similar night club where I used to live all my life. This is owned by a corporation that owns several similar clubs in several states. I moved to tx from ATL ga area and it seemed familiar. Then when I found out this on their website I found out that they also own the former cowboys in kennesaw which was one of the biggest nightclubs in the ATL area with a dance floor the size of a football field and a big stage with big name acts on stage. This one here has no stage, or live entertainment stage for NO band to play on. The dance floor is nice and fun to dance on, with neon lights and lots of line dance fun. If you cant get out there and have fun line dancing, then fun just isnt for you maybe. Since I travel and move a lot I will now have to go and try out the other establiments/clubs that this corporation owns, as this one is very fun. Just know that its taken over by a big nationwide firm, much in the same way as Toby Keith I love this bar and grill which has locations all over the country. But that doesnt make it any less awesome; its still a good time.

My wife took me there just before we got married actually it was our first date she got out on the floor n danced for me n we both had a great time Ive got no complaints.

Came here with a friend to hang out awhile. Everything about average. They may actually play a country song once an hour. Take it from a farm boy. The only thing country about this place is the second half of the name.
