My best friend and I, had a great time watching Josh Turner at the 11/20 show. We were worried about social distancing but after checking the website we felt safe in coming. This was a TERRIBLE choice. We were sitting directly across from a group that we didn’t know at the same table. Forget 6 feet we were literally a less than a foot from them. Of course we were eating and drinking which in turn means not wearing masks. We both tested positive for Covid 19 the next week. As a responsible adult my best friend, called Billy Bob’s and asked to speak to a manager so they could notify the attendees. They took her number and claimed they would reach back out here we are a week later with no callback or care for those that were at the venue on Friday. I also, sent an email myself and never heard back, I really hope they are shut back down since they feel the health of those that spend money with them doesn’t matter.

My first time at Billy Bobs was last night. Music, food, and drinks were great, however, the enforcement of wearing a mask was disappointing. Staff would tell customers to pull their mask up or put one on and the staff member wouldnt even have theirs on properly. Other wait staff or even bar tenders werent wearing their mask correctly. Staff were approaching customers that were standing with a group of friends drinking and tell them to put their mask on. And walk by others that were walking around without a mask or it was below nose or their mouth. Even saw staff approach a gentleman at a table next to us that was standing, leaning against his chair drinking and told him to put a mask on. I understand private establishment and so their rules, however educate your staff on proper mask wearing technique. It was quite frustrating to witness this all night. Definitely ruined my first experience.

We attended the Michael Salgado concert at this venue. It was our first time at this venue and we really enjoyed it. We had dinner at the Honky Tonk kitchen and it was also good. The prices were not bad and the food and was great. We thought the sound quality was very good but the furniture does need an upgrade. The staff did an excellent job making sure everyone was wearing a mask and behaving themselves. We would gladly return to future events.

Even with all the COVID b.s. it’s definitely a good place to enjoy live music and have a wonderful experience! My recommendation is to always spend the extra money for reserve seats so you have a good place to view the show. Smoking is only allowed in a small outdoor patio area which usually has a line. And yes the beer is expensive so drink before you go!

Thanks a million Billy Bobs! That was the first live music I have heard all year and my wife and I go to a lot of concerts. We bought season passes at Dos Eqius Pavilion only to be refunded due to covid 19 and we have been eager to say the least for some live music. Cannonball Blues Festival sure enough scratched that itch for us. Billy Bobs was very safe in many ways. Masks of course everytime you left your table even to dance. Seating was arranged so everyone was not cramped up against each other. I would say they did an excellent job. We had an incredible day of fun and some of the absolute best blues bands. You could see how happy all the musicians were to be back out playing for a live audience. Thanks again to Billy Bobs and all their friendly staff. You earned your 5 star on this one!

Large well known country music venue. The accustics could be better especially since live music is played here??? If you never been go see a new or older country star. They all play here eventually. Warning beer is $7 bottle....

After the second week of reopening from Covid19 closure Billy Bobs has taken every possible precaution to prevent Covid19 infection from spreading. Every table has hand sanitizer as well temperatures scanners at the door. Great concert be at. Kevin Fowler was awesome

We took friends from out of town and they enjoyed seeing the famous dance hall. We went during the day so it was empty but they still got a good feel for the immenseness.

A big venue for a concert. Loved how they had so many bartenders so no need to wait on getting drinks. It was very well organized and fast service. We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen concert.

I mean, what else needs to be said about this place? Is it my favorite venue to see an amazing band? Not necessarily, but... Its a place one must go at least once in their lives. That being said... Shane Smith & the Saints... Go see them, anywhere... Simply amazing.

Incredible atmosphere even during COVID, they maintained a fun environment and kept people from running around with out their masks on. Love the live music! Shane Smith and the Saints is one of the best bands to see live, please go see them!

I had heard of Billy Bobs before, since one of my favorite bands recorded a live album there several years ago. After discovering it was nearby while staying in the Dallas/fort worth area, I was excited to check it out! Lots of fun, live music, and lots of cool historical memorabilia from performers there.

Its hard to rate since we were there at 2 oclock in the afternoon on a Wednesday. We were the only people except for employees. Would definitely give it a try at night when I visit again.

Im from NY, I never seen the variety of ages in one place like this. It was from 21-99; no joke. It was amazing! Pool, line dancing, concert, bull riding... You name it, it was here! A definite recommend.

Awesome, no cigarette smoke, Josh Weathers on the main stage, This Guy with Paul & Blaine on Bass & drums, three piece band sounds like a full five with harmony like The Eagles. Great people. Great time !

Well I did not expect so many children or I guess I could say teenagers at the place or I could say barely over 21 I was expecting more of people dressed up versus coming in looking like you just come from a gym or you just come from a football game or you just got out of school I was hoping it would be something more of a dress up cowboy nice boots jeans belt buckle shiny stuff like that but Im going to check out the red River here in Dallas and go from there

This place is far out..there 7bars, a stage that has been played on by all the good country people and rock performers, a bull riding ring you can enter and the biggest belt belt buckel in the world. A must see!

Had a great night with friends tonight at Roger Creager. My first concert experience since Covid. I am far from an alarmist but was a bit concerned that going to this concert might mean I should tell my mother who is in her 70s that maybe she shouldnt come over for Sunday night dinner. After going I have no concerns at all. The staff and management handled everything very well and I think any risk was absolutely no more than us going out for dinner. I am not one that enjoys wearing masks and for that reason sometimes chooses to stay home amongst family and close friends just to avoid it but they had the perfect blend of fun and safety. Masks when we werent at our table and also space at our table to take them off and enjoy our friends and the show. Very proud of Billy Bobs for the balance you struck and hope you are finding a way to financially survive the lock downs. You are a truly remarkable place and have a great staff so thank you for providing a great experience!

First time here at Billy Bobs. Kinda quiet cause of covid. Good house band. More people showing up after 9:00. Brought besties from Florida. They like it.

My son whose 8 was able to get in and watch the band play also had a fun time playing the worlds largest packman in there together then we had some delicious smoked chicken, brisket, and ribs. Thanks again Billy Bobs!

It has been 18yrs since moved to Texas always wanted to go, but never followed through. Last night was the first time. This place is awesome. Has a lot of history. Had a good time with the staff and friends.

The people at the ticket window were helpful but didnt make it clear what my group was in for (paying for) and this was our first time visiting BB so we felt a little slighted when we were not allowed into the main event room.

Nice place, crazy over the top design absolutely Beautiful setup. Great food options. Dance floor is positively gigantic. They have a great gift shop with everything Billy Bobs. Staff the positively the friendliest most helpful you could ask for. Even when it is the busiest it has a lot of room. Music is also great!

Ordered a waygu steak before the concert that was great! Lots to do and free dance lessons before the show. Small intimate concert with great acustics and service. Make sure to walk around the stockyards too..

I can never hear the music properly unless youre back in the bar area. Says everyone thats ever seen a concert there.....cool landmark awesome bar venue.

The seating for concerts due to Covid is so much better than normal, you actually have elbow room! I hope when things get back to normal they find a happy medium between this and the regular way.

Many years ago, my (now former) husband and I went to Billy Bobs for a Jerry Reed concert. It was great! We had a lot of fun, it was a magical night. Had no problems hearing the show, seating was good, somewhat close to the stage.Fast forward to last night. My friend and I came to see Chad Prather. Our seating was considerably further from the stage. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed! It was noisy and crowded and we could only see a small part of the stage. The worst part? The SOUND! The acoustics were terrible! We could only hear about 10% of the show. I doubt if we will ever come back again.

This place is great. You can see it from the street and it is not far from the highway. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are good. The place is large and can accommodate alot of people without feeling crowded. The bull riding show is great too.

I was told over the phone I could get into concert with General Admission so I didnt buy extra tickets. Then when we went was told no. Was supposed to be a special night, my son is a Marine on leave after deployment and cant even enjoy the night and concertI gave him and my daughter and her boyfriend the 3 tickets we bought earlier in the week before I knew we all could goBut my husband and I are not sharing one of his last nights with him before he leaves on Sunday.

Security gaurd pushed my pregnant fiancé. Will be pressing charges. Not happy at all

The food was very good and the price was comparable to other BBQ restaurants in the area.

Went to go to a concert here. We bought tickets, but they sold more tickets than they had room for. Couldnt watch the show. The only people who got in were the ones that cut in line. We need a refund.This place has a lot of potential, but poor operational execution.

Iconic, historic and tons of fun! Came here for a post-conference party. The atmosphere was so fun the music was great and the time was unforgettable

Visited for a concert, the performance was incredible. Having to sit down throughout the show at long tables with no room in between was not a great experience. You spend a lot of the time standing up and sitting down to let people in and out. I have checked the box of visiting the Worlds Largest Honky Tonk but it is not going to be a favorite place for a show. I will give it another shot and will stay away from the reserved seating.

The sound system for the band left a lot to be desired. The table service was good and most of the staff were very friendly. No smoking inside the bar makes for a clean environment. If you are a smoker, there is a small patio out back that you can use. Be aware, this is uncovered so the weather may dictate its usefulness. The beers were always cold. They have a fairly standard collection of liquors and can make typical mixed drinks.

My first night in Dallas/Fort Worth, my employer rented out one of their banquet rooms and we had a nice buffet set up for us. It serves about 30 people. The brisket was amazing and I went up multiple times for their coleslaw. There was a designated bar in the banquet room so we had access to drinks the whole time.Our waitress was super friendly. Im from Ohio so having someone refer to you as Darlin is quite a shock. But a welcomed one!Everything else about Billy Bobs is great. Its super authentic and I can everyone is genuinely having a great time! Although its not my style of entertain I completely respect the style that it is.Overall, Id say that its an iconic place to try and visit if youre in Dallas!

BIG venue! Several bar counters inside. Tons of seating and table space and lots of dance floor. BBQ ready to order. Billiards tables. Souvenir photos. A wide collection of music star handprints. An actual, indoor dirt floor rodeo arena. And literally, the worlds largest belt buckle. What more could you ask for the worlds largest honky tonk?

Really enjoyed our stop to watch college football, have a few beers and experience the atmosphere. Got there mid-afternoon, so only had to pay $2/person to get in, while friends got there later for the band and the cover charge had moved up to $16/person. All 6 of us had fun having our picture taken on the bull. Get there early and enjoy!

Traditional place to joy a country music and dance it. On weekends you can watch rodeos and country shows with popular country singers.

Such a nice Texas style way to spend Saturday night in a heart of cowboy city. We went to see rodeo in Stockyards Coliseum. After that, we called Billy Bob’s and found out that we could attend tonight’s concert with our rodeo tickets for free! We had a blast.

The food looks great. But the pulled pork tasted like tuna fish for some reason. And the garlic mashed potatoes were very dry and crumbly with a garlic sauce poured over it. The ribs look big, but have very little meat on them.

Dont like the concert seating wish they would be stadium seating. Tables are too tight. No handicap seating. The first aid responders was excellent. They were called when I needed help. The first responders and security was so caring to my needs. Will never forget this experience bc I had a big scare & they were right there! Thank you Billy Bobs!!

The biggest honkey tonk with a lot of musical talent come through. Good place for groups. I participated in a team building event here.

Really cool venue with lots to do. This place is HUGE! You can spend hours here and not even realize it. And if youre a fan of country, theres no better place to spend an evening. Tons of live music, many bars, and a dance hall. I absolutely would recommend this to people stopping through fort Worth!

A real taste of Texas fun for all. The pics are of me Cherokee Mike, and brother Walt down from Ohio (my home state) on vacation. Showing him around the Fort Worth Stockyards and gift shops. We are at Burgers at the Stocktards train station where the Grapevine vintage train (steam engine) called the Tarantula makes a stop and is in the original location next to the world famous Billy Bobs dance hall. Also you are at the begining of the daily Longhorn cattle drive show. I am standing next to some of the cowboys who will be driving the herd down the street.Fum for everyone, Moms, Dads, kids and visitors from out of town.

I loved this place in the 1980s and still love it. The Urban Cowboy movie made it famous but they have kept it going!!! Alive and thriving among all the others. Billy Bobs is iconic and the food is still great. I mean not good for you food but good eating. Get the brisket. It is real!!! Its carved not pressed and try the sweet stuff too. The staff is friendly and helpful. Adult disneyland here. Oh yeah ride the bull!

Well they say they are largest Honky Tonk and anyone who has ever been inside would not dispute you. Here for a corporate event and the food, BBQ and drink were all superb. Lots of books to ride a bull, play pool or hang out. We had the pleasure of the Eli Young Band performing on the large stage with room for any boot scooters to show their stuff.

A legendary venue for certain. Crowded, college crowd, prices a bit high but saying you got to go has a mystique all its own. Nice place to visit to see it but if you are looking for a honkytonk, you might want to look elsewhere.

This place is sooooo neat! I visited during the day so I didn’t get a chance to party there but would have loved to do that! So much seating and dance floor. Lots of memorabilia from VIP attendees. Food and drink options and games. And HUGE ladies room (haha). Gift shop should have had more sizes for their shirt offerings - they were out of key sizes. FYI - $2 cover charge in the day time. I didn’t check out the electric bull riding - but it’s there somewhere

Huge bar with multiple rooms and dance floors. We came here during the day and it was almost empty. The bartender told my brother on a good night they get about 6,000 people. Worth seeing.

This was my first time attending a concert at Billy Bobs and I will definitely go again. I highly recommend buying the seats as they are worth the extra cost. You get your own seat and there are wait staff for drink orders all while enjoying a great view and music. Great beer prices and cocktails. Pretty easy to get around but watch your step with all the stairs and multiple levels.

This place is HUMONGOUS! Theres probably 30 bars, 5 stages, a gift store, several food shops, rodeo ring and 70 young cowboys trying to find some lovely ladies to dance with them for the night. Had a lot of fun here on a busy Saturday night. Great live concert names too.

Great country music! The place is big, displaying lots of great posters of great singers everywhere and has multiple bars, pocorn and pizza vendors too. Dancing moves fast for for some serious boot-skootin. The gift shop has affordable prices and conveniently offers a coat keeper as well.I loved listening to Pat Green lastnight. But...buying online tickets for seats was confusing and we wound up in the very back at the concert. The monitors were few and too small to see anything clearly. I couldnt understand the words he sung either. Not sure why but it sounded like the speakers were only at the front by the stage.Even though valet was affordable and convenient upon arrival, I probably wont use it again because it seemed to take way too long to get our car back after the concert. Overall, a good place to visit while in Fort Worth.

Biggest honky tonk in Texas. Awesome place. They even let the kids hang to check things out. Tons of signed memorabilia. Really impressive place to go.
