The pandemic closed my school for the remaining of the semester and students are unable to retrieve supplies so I figured I would buy a few things from American ceramics and help out the local guys since I understand times are tough. I was sent the invoice and called to complete my order for pick up. I spoke to Ginger, and asked for a recommendation for a clear glaze to add for my order for some underglazes I bought elsewhere. Instead of listening to me she assumed I was talking about the glazes I had on my invoice, rudely explained that I didnt need it, talked over me when I tried telling her I was talking about underglazes, and then rushed on to explain to me that her family had owned the business for X amount of years and that she knows what she is talking about. I ended up cancelling my order completely after hanging up with her. Worst customer service ever.

I have known the owner and been doing business with this wonderful shop for over 40 years. It is the best (and possibly only!) place to go in the Ft. Worth area for everything you need for clay, ceramic glaze and tools as well as glass sagging and fusing! Great selection of clay from low to high fire. Amazing tool selection! Terrific glaze selection! Large selection of pottery wheels, several sizes of kilns , slab rollers, then you get into the glass supplies!! Way to much stuff for me to describe and tell about. The owner and staff are super friendly and super knowledgeable!! Classes available too! This is a First Rate Shop!!!

I bought my pottery kiln and glass kiln from American Ceramics. I also attended the PYOP and Glass classes taught there. Connie, Ginger, Pat, and Landon are amazing. I highly recommend American for all ceramic and glass needs.

What a great place! As a beginning potter, I was worries we would get some eye rolls about our ignorance but the young lady was so sweet and helpful. She took the time to answer every question thoroughly, and gave us some tips for getting started.

Staff is very helpfull and knowledgeable! I am just starting in pottery and she spent over an hour helping me pick a clay and glazes for the projects I am wanting to do. She showed me some of her pieces to give me ideas. Great store!

Great for clays and glazes. They have both high fire and low fire. They have kilins and cones for them. They also offer some classes. There are brushes, wheels, and clay working supplies. The people are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable.

I picked up a used kiln and have been so thankful for your help getting it up and running. Since i am a total rookie to it all your people have been so helpful in explaining everything for my glass slumping as well. I am so thankful you are patient. Life is an adventure... You help make it fun!

Poor customer service. Extremely hard to receive return phone calls. Head stuck in sand trying to resolve American Ceramic mistake.

We went by American Ceramics this morning to purchase a glass kiln and supplies to outfit my new studio. The very nice young lady at the counter asked if we needed anything as we were just looking around as we came in the door. My Mom asked a question about ceramic supplies as she once owned a ceramic store and remembered getting supplies there. A woman who I must assumes works there answered her question in the rudest and most dismissive way possible as she walked through the room. Didn’t even slow down. Her manner and tone made it plain her question was unwelcome. At that point we decided to take our business elsewhere. Very disappointed as We both have fond memories of American Ceramics and were looking forward to using them again.

Comparable to online shopping with great customer service! They have many name brand products for equipment & will teach you how to use it!

My wife is big into ceramics, I am just along for the ride. The shop has all the paints and supplies you would ever need.

Well I was looking for a place that had lots of products and they had more than the other place in haltom city but there just arent ceramic and plaster shops like there use to be.

Very disappointed that after spending 400.00 for glass supplies, they would not answer a simple question about my paragon kiln since I did not purchase it there. I try to support local business, but will order my supplies online from other suppliers from now on.
