I went to Gateway to check-out a new bow. I was greeted promptly by staff. Everyone was courteous including the other customers. Since the technician needed to adjust a bow for me to try, my name was placed on the whiteboard list showing my turn. I decided to buy the bow. Jeff made sure I had all the components that were right for me, not the most expensive ones. Jim worked with me to paper tune the bow and made sure every detail was correct. He caught two errors in my technique that were causing tuning issues. I left with my bow tuned, sighted in, and a very satisfied customer. Thanks Gateway!

Went in on a Saturday to look at getting my wife her first bow. Even though the shop was packed everyone that helped us took their time to go over every detail with us. I was so impressed I picked up a new bow for myself as well. With ethics and customer service like Gateway offers they have a lifelong customer in me!

I can’t give this place enough stars. Been a loyal customer for a couple years now. Jim and his team are a bunch a servant-hearted hard working men, who all care about each persons experience within Gateway Archery. It’s their service, quality of work and genuine concern for each of their patrons that has caused them to become very busy as the business continues to grow. Don’t compare them to Walmart! Great customer service on my problem and always a friendly environment! Nice range. Good products on the shelves. They have a full service work shop and will do custom arrows.I am from out of state so I have no local bias. Just here for work.I had a problem with a bow tune. Mr Ting fixed the problem with a smile and a lot of meticulous adjustments. When i say fixed, i feel like he tuned it as well as he tunes his own bows. Thanks Ting!On another trip, Jim identified a peep problem. He fixed me up with a great new peep.If only they could do something about my form!

I wish i could give these guys more than 5 stars! I got into archery a year ago and my first mistake was not coming to these guys when I bought it! Ive bounced around from a few different shops over the past year. The shop I bought my bow from was just terrible after they had money in their pocket. Ive used a few other shops and had some decent experiences with them. The first day I stepped my foot into Gateway, it was a warm welcoming and I have had nothing but top notch customer service from everyone! Shane, Thomas, Alex and Jim are who I generally deal with when I go in whether it be my bow, my girlfriends bow or my buddies. I wont go any other shop! I highly recommend them to everyone I encounter in the archery world!

Bought a new Mathews TX 5 yesterday, even though they were swamped they took the time to help me and made sure everything fit perfectly. I watched the customer service with every customer and everyone received help and were happy with the service. The staff was extremely nice and took time with each customer, I watched one staff member pray with a customer, I was impressed by that alone. They have a customer for as long as they are in business with me.

Awesome group of guys. Got recommended to me by some on Texas gun talk forum and they were right to come here.Got a PSE xpedite from father in law because he got a new one. Shane helped me get it adjusted in no time, and explained a bunch to me as I’m not super knowledgeable in the world of archery.Apparently I have a 32” draw... so he showed me a couple bows that would fit better as well as technique to shoot this one as I get into it. Even went in the back and got his bow out for me to shoot to see what a bow with longer max draw would feel like.Will be back for any and all of my archery needs. Appreciate y’all.

We drove all the way from McKinney Tex to check this place out. They were busy but they got everybody through the line accordingly. After I was finished they had my old Matthews Drenalin stacking arrows at 20 yds

Bought a Mission MXR from them a few months back. Customer service was great (and they were swamped and still attended to every customer). Took the time to help tune and sight in my bow.

I’ve been interested in bow hunting for awhile so for this year my family got me set up with my first bow. No one in my family bow hunts and I am a complete novice. Needless to say, Thomas and the guys at Gateway Archery made me feel totally at ease, helped me tune up my bow to get it set just for me, and helped me with my form. I will most definitely be coming to Gateway for all my bow needs and to use their range. Inadequate customer service.Like going to Walmart, they may have what you want, theres no one to help and they dont seem to care that you stopped in.

I went to Gateway yesterday and Jim setup a new Mathews Traverse for me. Within 10 minutes I had ruined 3 arrows from trying to put the two arrows in the same hole at 20 yards. Good problem to have. The setup is perfect, the bow now fits me like a dream and it shoots lights out. I could not be happier. Gateway is the only place I will take my bows.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We drive 40 minutes to this place walk in an no one says anything to us. Of the 4 guys that were working, one was helping someone, one was sitting down looking at his phone and the other 2 were sitting and talking to each other too busy with their conversation to even acknowledge us. 30 minutes goes by and still no help. We went down there to get some new arrows and possibly purchase another bow for my husband but they were all too busy ignoring us. Even when my husband was standing at the counter ready to check out he was ignored.

My husband and I came in from out of town and we were able to be worked into an hour long lesson right away. We are brand new to archery and everyone from the instructor to the guys who worked in the shop were eager and willing to help us out. We will definitely be back!

This shop carries Matthews, Mission, Hoyt and Bowtech brands. You can immediately tell these are great people. I got fitted for a bow by the owner, Jim, he spent two hours getting me outfitted and advising me. No way you could get this kind of service at a big box store. I was happy to spend my money here.

I was traveling through town and stopped in after I had noticed an odd sound during my draw cycle. Jim worked me in immediately took my bow down paper tuned me and had me on the road while my wife and I went to lunch. Great shop. Better than my home shop.

Ive been to Gataway Archery with my wife looking for some components for my father-in-laws bow. Although they didnt have the exact bow rest we were looking for in the shop, they suggested an alternative and hey made sure that it was the right product for us.We had a wonderful experience and we recommend the shop to all bow enthusiasts.

Bought my first bow today. Jim is awesome took the time to help a newbie out.The staff is super also dont know their names wish I did because they are worthy of their names being said also. I love the bow they set up cant wait to get more efficient with it. Update1month later I would have never been much better because the bow setup was wrong. They didnt even tie the peep sight in,so it moved on me went in to get it fixed they took it to the shop brought it back and said it was fixed. I went that same day to shoot 3d targets with friends 2 shots it moved again and of course they were closed. Went to different shop to learn it was all wrong. Center shot was off the install of rest left no room for adjustment, cam timing was off. It is all fixed now and shooting the center out of targets already. Good people bad work from 5 stars to 2 sorry lost my trust now.

Expert, professional, honest and fair. You wont find another bow shop that has this level of knowledge, skill and kindness anywhere-else. As a woman just getting into archery, I was treated with patience and respect from day one. Everyone here, including those practicing here, are the nicest and most welcoming people you will meet. Dont waste your time getting frustrated with another shop.

If I could give these guys a 6 star rating I would! Great service every single time I’ve been there. The guys are helpful, knowledgeable, and go way beyond any other pro bow shop I’ve been to. I ended up buying my bow at another shop since they’re not a G5 bow dealer (very few in DFW). But they are my to go shop for accessories and tuning now.

This was the first archery shop I’ve ever been in. I had no comparison to make so I was open minded about the experience. It was quickly apparent that Cody and Jim are authentic in their approach to treating their customer’s well. Cody was patient with me as a newcomer to the sport and answered all my questions while staying engaged and not rushed. After visiting another local shop and a couple of big box stores, I couldn’t get myself to buy anywhere else. I returned another day to buy my setup about :08 before closing time and Jim stayed well past closing to get me going. He let me shoot and get comfortable without hurrying the process. I have never met a more knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding bow shop owner. I went into their shop with a very sick bow and Dr. Jim made her all better! Jim Faver and his team have no equal in North Texas. In their shop you are treated fairly and never talked down to. And, most importantly, they dont treat you like a number. They dont ignore you (like some other bow shops in North Texas) and they make their shop feel like home.

This place is incredible. These guys are some of the nicest, friendliest and most honest and helpful folks I’ve ever come across in any place of business. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products and are both hunters and competitive target shooters...I dare you to try and stump them with any archery related questions? The only even remote negative about this place is that the indoor range is limited to 20yds and has no 3D targets. A situation that will be remedied soon I’m sure...because the way these guys handle their business they are sure to grow as much as they want.

Awesome Staff, We went there on Saturday, June 3 so I can get my bow that my brother gave me for tuning up for me and Jim kept working on the bow to making sure its perfect and not giving up. He was also teaching me how to shoot it and how hold it properly since it was the first time ever firing a bow and I want to thank them so much for my first time experience the best, at the end of the day, we won a lot of stuff from the ruffle they had on that day and going home with big smile on my face. So, let me start by saying I doubt there could be a bad review about these guys. There is a stigma in many bow shops where someone who doesnt know everything about the sport can feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. They could definitely learn from Gateway Archery, Jim and the staff took the time to not only tune up my old bow but set up my new Mathews to perfection! During both processes, they walked me through their steps and explained every detail, helping me to learn about the details of a bow. I made the comment that after only 10 minutes of walking in the door, I felt like part of their family. Seriously guys, its that real. Additionally, I am the type to hunt for a bargain and after linking up with these guys I knew without a doubt I could go nowhere else, their prices are competitive and inventory is stocked. I know that Mathews has an outstanding warranty but with this shop you know that they are the type of guys that would do anything to fix you up, that peace of mind is priceless. If you are in the market for a new bow, need an old bow looked at, or just want to go in and hang out with some down-to-earth, real people, do yourself a favor and visit Gateway.

Friendly folks here, happy to help out a beginner with learning the ropes. Shop carries many Matthews bows and plenty of accessories along with a neat 20 yard indoor range.

They are just kinda arrogant. Looked at a women like she didnt know what she was doing in a bow shop. Its layed out in a way that makes it feel cramped.

My girlfriend had a new bow setup at this shop. They are knowledgeable and very patient.
