Cool little museum in Ft Wayne. Overall 1-1.5 hours max to walk through and see/read everything. Lots of cool, old firefighting gear and pictures from decades past.

This is an absolute treasure of Ft.Wayne. Its a great place to take children. They have a lovely display of Ft.Wayne history on the second floor. You can really get the feel of what it was like to be a fireman in the early 1900s. My 4 year old son loved it!

A small museum of the fire department of Fort Wayne. It is interesting if you like looking at fire fighting equipment from the past.

This place was so amazing, but my father was a volunteer firefighter for many years and 47 of those years he was fire chief so it has a pretty special place in my heart.

A great place to take your child that loves vehicles, fire trucks and fire fighting. My son loved looking at all the trucks and such. The only disappointment is that there isnt a truck for the child to sit on. That would have made it an amazing visit for my son. He really wanted to sit in one of the trucks.

My friends and their families consider this a must (I always bring first time visitors here to truly experience Fort Wayne). Its a great way to appreciate the heroes who have served and continue to serve while immersing yourself in the history of the equipment and the institutions.

Nice selection of fire equipment that was used a long time ago. And good information about the history of fort Wayne fire department. I was impressed with the old equipment that was used in early days of fire fighting that they have on display. Worth visiting when in Fort Wayne Indiana.

The Fort Wayne Firefighters Museum is a must stop location when visiting Fort Wayne, Indiana. The museum is very affordable and is conveniently located next to the Fort Wayne Convention center. The tour is short, mainly an hour to see the sights- friendly staff. Be sure to visit.

Surprisingly interesting! The main floor and entrance is where the bulk of the fire engines. Perfect for anyone intersted in the mechinaics of fire suppresion. The host had worked for the FYFD for years and was warm and helpful. She explained a bit about the firehouse; she also had the FD scanner on! Upstairs is a collection of wonderful rooms filled with Ft Wayne history and current issues of fire safety. Perfect place to stay cool for an hour. We bought a FWFD patch and enjoyed our visit! On street or lot parking with a meter. They accept credit cards.
