Challenging course. Only negative was the amount of huge groups that made it difficult to play consistently. Otherwise its a blast

This is my favorite course in Fort Wayne. The people are friendly, the course is challenging and well maintained. 5 out of 5 would lose 3-4 balls here again.

Surprised me! I wasn’t expecting much here, but I was extremely surprised.Drove up from Indy to play with my dad. This course was a unique surprise. I wasn’t sure why my dad picked it but after playing it. I can see exactly why he did.The course offers a variety of holes. From fun short par 3s to long 550 yard par 5s. With water and trees everywhere. Lots going on at this course.One of the more appreciative factors of the course was quiet atmosphere. It’s tucked away from many public roads so you don’t get a lot of extra noise in background. Golf at its best.I would definitely recommend this course if you’re new Fort Wayne area..... or a nice day trip of it from Indy like I did.

This course has phenomenal greens! The greens can be brutally challenging and are really fast. For the money, it may be the best value in all of Fort Wayne golf. The staff and members are really friendly and always willing to chat. The course itself is in good shape. The layout is long and difficult for a public course that is as affordable as Riverbend. They offer yardage books in the clubhouse and I cannot stress enough the importance of grabbing one before you play this course for the first time. I love playing this course, but it wears you down. The back 9 starts easy on Hole 10 and then gets progressively longer and harder. The final 5 holes are really long and punishing for your tired back and arms, but they reward straight shots and well placed approaches with opportunities for birdies. Straight hitters with a solid short game can score really well here, and inconsistent hitters that can’t putt will most assuredly need a calculator to tally the strokes. My wishlist for Riverbend is newer carts and paved cart paths. Those two additions would take this course into new heights.

Couse is in average shape, challenging greens

The course is in great shape. Greens are quick, but true. Bit of a dead area on #7 green.Always a challenge.

A lot of golf courses have shut down in the fort wayne area,and it has created increased numbers of players on the courses that are still open. Just got done at Riverbend an hour ago. We were going to play 18 holes,but by the time we made the turn,there were 3 groups waiting to tee off on 10,so we just packed it in and left. There are leagues that came from Cedar Creek which is closed now.40 players in these leagues. Keep shutting down golf courses, so they can build houses on these properties .

Becoming my new favorite course in town. With so many closing, this course is a best bet for an affordable, enjoyable but challenging round for golfers of any level. Best greens in town.

Best people in town. This is a must play course if youre in the Fort Wayne area.

Paid 32.00 in 2018 for 18 and cart.Jumped up to 42.00 in 2019.The carts are old and dirty. The course is nice but, not worth 42.00.I suggest you go somewhere else.

Had a golf outing there. Nice course layout but greens were in bad shape. They had as much sand on them as the bunkers. They plugged them a week or two prior it appears. Fun course though

Well maintained golf course, pretty expensive if you want to play before 2 on the weekend. Pin locations were incredibly tough. Golf carts have seen some better days too. Those things struggled.

The course is in great shape, the front 9 is tight where the back is a tad more forgiving.

Very competitive Golf Course greens were in very good shape and very tough a lot of water and a lot of trees so bring extra golf balls for us hackers

Not impressed at all with this course. There is nothing special about the layout. Even the cart are poor... only half a windshield and no bag covers.
