All of the employees were very nice. Food was tasty, and the drinks were reasonable with a good selection. No, it’s not an IMAX screen with the most expensive sound equipment but the screen and sound quality are more than adequate. Unfortunately, the thing that made the experience less than enjoyable was the seating. My husband and I sat on the bench seats with the straight wooden backs and we were both struggling after a 2.5 hour movie. Numb butts and painful lower backs. I hope at some point they add a back cushion there. We would maybe try once more sitting in the chairs and hoping they’re more comfortable. Or maybe just for a shorter movie. If the seating issue were resolved I think this place would be fantastic!

My family went here last night to watch the old Batman. We had the best time. The pizza we had was great. pretty decent selection of food really. Also tried the popcorn with $1 refills. Quaint location that has been redone very nicely. Service was also fabulous! Cant wait to go back again.

Great staff , clean and safe place

Really awesome place. My husband and I went for date night. I love the ambiance and that they play old movies. Definitely plan on coming back.A few suggestions though. I didnt find it super comfortable. I would love to see some more comfortable seating options. Until then, I would recommend coming closer to the movies play time. Also, please dont get get the chips and queso. It was the weirdest queso I have ever tasted. Im not sure if it was rancid or they have a horrible recipe but it tasted like queso mixed with gravy lol. Stick to the pizza and beer!Other than that, the experience was great.

We’ve enjoyed every experience we’ve had at Suds n Cinema! It’s very reasonably priced. We usually end up spending roughly $25-30, and that covers two tickets, snacks, water, and alcohol. We usually just have popcorn, so I can’t speak to the other food items, but the popcorn is good, and they offer a variety of flavors. Service can take a little while sometimes during the movie, especially if it’s a sold out showing, but they are always very nice and quick once they get to you. They offer text alerts to let you know the upcoming movies they will show, which I love, and their choices are a good mix of newer films and throwbacks. So far we’ve seen “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”, “Little Women”, and “Jaws”.

Saw Tenet last week. Hadnt been since ownership change. Place was clean, seats were comfortable. Panini and pizza were delicious. Enjoyed some slap ya mama seasoning on my popcorn. Overall great experience.

WOW! Had an amazing time at Suds n Cinema. Went with some girlfriends to see The Breakfast Club. We had so much fun! Everything was exceptional, the atmosphere, the pizza and the service was perfect! Everything was in accordance to CDC guidelines. Totally put this on your list of cool stuff to do! Cant wait to go back!

Nostalgia destination. If you enjoy going to the movies, classic films, and local brews this is the place for you. Check their weekly showings to see what movies are showing during the day and during the evening. Been coming here for the past few weeks once a week to get that weekly dose of nostalgia. Great place to come for a movie night, family outing, or a date. Staff are incredibly friendly, theater is clean, and the beer is cold (Props Brewery). On top of all of that, it is locally owned. Highly recommend at least checking this place our for a movie or two!

Just saw Karate Kid tonight with my family and it was a great experience! The staff went above and beyond to be polite, caring and friendly. I had come twice before years ago and I was shocked to see how wonderful the renovations were, theyve really taken advantage of the space and made it a great spot for family, date nights, or any other kind of movie fun. It feels very vintage and cute inside. Also there was appropriate spacing, sanitation, and mask-wearing to cope with coronavirus concerns. Thank you Suds n Cinema!!

What a great find! We were vacationing in Ft. Walton and happened to see the marquee as we came in town. One of my favorite movies, Star Trek:The Wrath of Khan was playing. Great atmosphere, food, and service. Highly recommend!

My first time here today seeing ET. The building has been remodeled and looks amazing. Love the exposed brick and open layout. I ordered a jumbo beef dog and it came with popcorn and a pickle spear, also got a Dr Pepper. Food was amazing and I will be back!! This place is a hidden gem for a family or couple on a budget.

Fun night with the family. We love going

I love what they are trying to do downtown. Service was good and the rehab of the theater is great. Unfortunately seating was uncomfortable. Tough to sit through the movie. The pizza was pretty good and the beer was nice and cold local craft. My wife asks that they add a purse hook or side table in the ladies room

Food is great, seating is perfect, staff is friendly and efficient. My only gripe would be about sound quality but when youre seeing a movie for 5 bucks its tough to whine about that.Edit to reply to owner: I was at the bar style seats pretty much dead in the middle. The movie was John Wick 3. Part of the issue may have been just how much was going on sound wise in that particular movie. I should also clarify that it was in no way detrimental to my experience. Honestly everything about the place is so fun and friendly it was tough to find a recommendation for improvement. Keep it up guys!

Amazing place! I was surprised how cheap the popcorn was ($4 for a small basket, $2 for refills) Lots of reviews mention problems with seating, but I personally was very comfortable in their chairs. The set up is very cool and unique. A definite beauty of downtown. I look forward to to coming back very soon!

It was clean, the staff was very friendly, the food was great. My son and I went and saw Raiders of the lost ark. The movie was, of course excellent. The food and atmosphere made it even better. It was expensive when it was all said and done, but it doesnt have to be. Great place, loved it and I will suggest to everyone that yhey should too. The movie itself was only 2$ per person. If youre hungry get the godzilla pizza.

This place is great. But u gotta get there when the doors open or u will get stuck at the top with a tough time seeing the movie well. But, food is good, beer is great, and the wait staff is on point as best they can be. Great place to watch a cheap movie.

Great idea, but needs a little work. The chairs are fine for a restaurant, but very uncomfortable for a 2 plus hour movie. And there is only one restroom, leading to lines forming causing you to miss more of the movie than you otherwise would. The theater doesnt have the best sound system. But overall its a fun way to spend the evening. Good selection of local beer, and a friendly and helpful staff.

The Suds&Cinema has been a gathering place for my family and I since I was only 9 years old and now my children get enjoy the same theater, only now it looks amazing! The owners turned it into something new and fun while staying true to the historic location.Thank you for raising our downtown cinema for the grave and giving it an all new life!Dont forget to try the Raspberry Jalapeno Jelly! It is so good!!

My daughter and I had a wonderful first visit seeing Frozen 2 tonight. The place was very clean, the seating was nice, food was good, staff were all extremely helpful, and it was inexpensive. We will definitely return in the future.

What an amazing date night for my wife and I while on our staycation in FWB. The admission fee is only $5 per person and the menu options for food is outstanding. They have an excellent selection from pizza to more traditional dinner type dishes and a good choice of beer and wine. I so enjoyed watching a movie in a more relaxed, adult atmosphere than going to a traditional theater. 10/10 we will be back.

We enjoyed our first time here! We watched Lion king. The only complaint is the movie didnt seem very clear. Idk if it was the screen or maybe it was just the movie itself. But some parts were kind of hard to see. But, the kids loved it! Everyone was super friendly and we will go back! :)

A beautiful and vintage place, you can watch movies or plays here depending on whats showing. A wide menu allows for you to have almost the snack of your choice and a wide variety of movies whivh change each week. Definitely plan to go here again, and definitely worth a visit if you wanted to see whichever movie is playing or if you just loved it before.

Great price for full size movie. Benches arent too comfortable, but entire experience was great. 1 change Id like to see, dontpay the bill during the show; ruined a touching moment. Pay before, or on way out.

Really cool concept and amazing pizza!! Seriously the best we have had in a long time. Only complaint would be that the seating isn’t super comfortable for a long movie, our backs and butts were pretty sore. Hopefully they will add some back padding to the booth seating at some point!

Food was good. The movie wad great. Downside is that it took until nearly the end of the movie for us to get our food. It seemed very unorganised. We asked for more water and it took asking 3 times for water to brought to us. Meanwhile everyone around us was getting great service!

The new decor is nice, the staff is very friendly and takes wonderful care of you, and the food was good. Loved the sausage dog with jalapeno raspberry jelly.

Good concept, eat before you come, if you want to eat. Food never showed. 2d waitress tried to make it right, first waitress went missing in action. Didnt want pizza anyway. Manager brushed it off. Good thing we are out of towners. Family that brought us are locals though....

This is a great theater if you like the vintage look and feel, and arent too particular about the viewing experience. The screen isnt great, and the sound quality can vary. But for only $5 you cant be too upset.They also serve food which is actually decent, and all of the seating has tables. I love sitting in the balcony section.

Im giving this 4 stars because it was a fun experience. We got the pizza, popcorn and drinks special and the pizza was actually really good. Although the popcorn didnt taste like theater popcorn, we still gobbled it up. The drinks were extra large too! The chairs were standard kitchen chairs, so it was a little difficult to stay comfortable in a straight back chair for over two hours - BUT, that kind of added to the whole ambiance of the evening. We will definitely be going back and hopefully bringing some friends with us too.

We went here for a date night and really enjoyed our experience! The food was delicious and had great prices. It was a fun and unique experience! We loved it.

This is a perfect place to go kick back and relax and watch a movie. Nothing fancy mind you but all the food and snacks are good and youll be as comfortable as you would be in your lounge chair at home. They have been getting some really good movies lately and that have upgraded all the movie equipment and sound system. Prices are surprisingly low. The waitresses are very friendly and the service is usually good. Perfect place to hide out at the end of the day.

Recently remodeled and very nice outside appearance as well as the inside, I watched a 3hrs movie but the environment made it seem like an 1hr movie time flew by, food was delicious, waitresses were very quick to tend to my needs, they us of soft candles to use so you wasnt bother ever few minutes or forgotten about, its my first time back since the remodel and it definitely wont be my last.

Love going here, it is refreshing to see that the owner is keeping this place going. I understand that he has gone digital and he has improved the sound system. I usually get a picture of beer for $7 and a sandwich for $7 and a popcorn for $4. Movie cost with wife: beer food and popcorns ~$35 for two hours average -- not bad. I normally order the Italian all the way. As for some folks saying it took too long to get an order, I find it rarely but yes it happens when they are short staffed. They have a balcony; never been up there. Also I understand this place used to run second rate movies, not true now. This was before the new guys took over. They no longer serve decent subs.

Nice little dinner theater. You cant beat the price! Look forward to going back again. It could use some upgrades and remodeling but my wife and I still had a great time.

We often go to the theater because we always have a good time, but this week we had my daughters birthday here and she loved it. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The kids loved sitting upstairs and my daughter loved being able to pick the movie they got to watch. Definitely something we would do again!
