I feel like they are a bit pricey for there establishment. It’s cold usually. If it was a more modern and nice wouldn’t care to pay more

Have been here twice. From the outside it looks nothing like a movie theater... Dont let that fool ya! We got our popcorn and had a very enjoyable experience. Both times were perfect.

I like being able to go watch a movie with my daughter but the price of everything they sell is getting outrageous. They are charging 7 dollars now for a half scoop of popcorn, Skittles and small drink. Its so high now that I can rent Redbox movies, buy food, and have a great time at home and still not spend as much as they are charging. I think they are taking advantage of people.

Its the only local theatre. Some of the rooms need upgrading. In some rooms the seats are old and uncomfortable. Also in some rooms the curtains are old and musty smelling.

Love this place! Concession food is not too overly priced and the staff is always nice!

Adequate, but dont look down at the floor! Projected picture and sound are fine, and the popcorn is edible.

Watched Jumanji 2 great helpful staff and a good quality movie. Definitely coming back soon

Really, really bare bones theatre. No insulation between theatres. Really old carpet. Seats are old and not comfortable with no drink holders. Staff seem to want to try, but well nuf said.

Enjoyed watching a movie there tonight. Yes...it is under construction...but the room my movie was shown in was just fine...and seemed up to date.

Had been 7 years since I went to this theater. Because at least 2 of 3 times during the film it would tare up. Went today to see Stubber. During the advertisements guess what..... Screen goes dark. 10 minutes later a lady sent her child to tell someone. Movie starts and we watched the entire thing as the light would dim then go bright then dim again.

Probably will never be a nice theater, its just so old and broken down. However, they keep their prices much better than big theaters and have always seemed to have a good staff all the years Ive been going there.

Im not 100% sure why this place gets an occasional bad review. Me and my husband came to Fort Payne for our anniversary to spend our vacation. Fort Payne is a very small , quite town. It doesnt even have a bar. So for some of the reviewers to complain about how its not as up to date as a cinema in bigger cities,... Well no duh!! For a town as small as Fort Payne, this cinema is amazing. The prices are very fair. The staff is very friendly. The picture and the sound are very good quality. AND...THERE IS NO MOLD OR MILDEW ON THE CURTAINS!!! So dont listen to those reviews. From what I can see, the owners work very hard giving its town a great place to enjoy a great movie experience. Great job and keep it up. Thank you for a wonderful movie night.

I go there every time I watch a movie I’ve watched that yeti movie like obomidlbe,jasmine,toy story 4,lion king,and tody we are going to watch Adams family and I’m so exited

Really enjoyed the movie but the theater needs major help. Feel like I stepped back into the 70s nothing much has changed since the first time I was there as a very young child! They were very short handed. The concession people run back and forth cleaning theaters and selling tickets. Only good thing about the theater was the prices were good.

Been going here for years they got unlimited popcorn so its worth the cost.the theater its self is nice.& the movie prices are what I believe to be reasonable.I go to the matinees.it was 8.50 to see star wars in 3d .& they give you the 3d glasses.enjoyable experience.

Very small theater. Ticket prices are cheaper then normal, the nachos where stale, and drinks seemed over priced even for a theater. $8.50 for a 44 once Coke! The theater itself was a bit warm, AC seemed to have trouble keeping up in the middle of the summer. Zero arcade games nor pre-movie entertainment. Also, I could not seem to find the bathroom....

My family loves this place the prices are great we drive from Chattanooga to here because the tickets are cheaper than where we live we think its well worth the drive

Needs a good remodel desperately but not uncomfortable, kids working at food counter really should stop handling food with bare hands like he did my nachos. (Then got upset after I told him that I wanted some he didnt put his hands all over) but good sound, good selection of movies. Easy to get in and out of over all Id visit again as I have several times in the past

This place has been under renovation for as long as I can remember. Its fine, it just seems like it will never be done.

Ive been going here for years as my primary movie theatre. And its always good experience. Never really great but good. The staff has always been nice and Ive never had anything wrong with my food or drink. The movie tickets are cheap, especially for the matinee showing. If you arent looking to be pampered but just want to see a movie I can recommend this place.

Great local movie place to go to, whether your taking someone on a date, or needing something to do with your children perfect bonding over a movie, great soda drinks, candy, buttery popcorn, and lets not forget dipping dots great for adults and children.

We enjoy going to the movies there. Prices are reasonable, the popcorn is good (better than the mall theatre nearby) and the pictures and sound is good. Glad to see some renovation going on. Shows interest in the patrons. Ive seen some in other areas that just deteriorated to nothing and were closed. Happy to see this one headed in a positive direction!

Good ticket prices but to push the special popcorn containers they temporarily take the best priced concessions combos away. This means I dont get popcorn because Im not paying $10+ for a plastic pail that doesnt get refills. On the other hand if they used the extra combo money to finish the construction theyve been under for the last 8-10 years it might be worth it. Also really wish they would play the new more popular movies more than twice a day.

It was amazing but at the beginning of the ads before the movie started it was all blurry with no sound but five minutes before the movie started it was fixed so good job.

Its a decent theater...but wished the website was updated more than it is. Sometimes its not updated in time for the new movie changes. Calling doesnt help sometimes either :(

Love our small town movie theater. It is small town so they dont have all the extras that the high dollar places have but they are very cheap on prices and it is nice to save the extra money. They are working to make the place better and I think they do a great job.

Not a terrible theater, most screens have pretty good picture and sound. Definitely not a 5 star cinema but it does very well for a small town theater. There are still lots of things that need repair, and some of the seats are very old and uncomfortable. Overall though, it is a reasonable price for an acceptable movie experience.

Nice and small needs updating but decent

My buddy and I were in town and took in a movie here. The theater is locally owned with great prices for new releases. Sure its a little old and run down but we had a pleasant experience with no major issues. If I lived nearby I would certainly visit frequently instead of driving to Gadsden or elsewhere.

The best movies always seem to be in the worst room. The curtains look as if they are molding, uncomfortable seats, no cup holders. Room 2 on the right has been the only room that has been showing the movies we want to see. Ill either start asking which room before I buy tickets or I will drive 45 minutes before watching in that room. Nice people. Prices are fair.

Critics, how are they supposed to have a fancy million dollar theater, from maybe 25 - 30 patrons a day? Just couldnt pass up the opportunity to share your negative attitude right, or maybe you were actually trying to prime a request for your generous donation of the renewal costs, so everyone could have that BIG movie theater experience you apparently were expecting. Sorry you were disappointed with them, but I was much more disappointed with you, than I was with them.

Went to see A Quiet Place last night. The movie screen was good. However, we could also hear the movie next to us clear as day, the walls are molded cinder block behind crumbling, nasty, torn, mildewy curtains. It was raining IN THE THEATER! Yes, the entire movie we had to deal with a constant drip. During a movie that is based on complete SILENCE. This theater is only getting 2 stars because of its workers and its movie options. Workers, by the way, that walked down the isles like in the 80s. As if tolerating and trying to drownd out the drip and movie in the next theater wasnt bad enough we had ushers walk down and up the isles during a pivital time in the movie. What could they possibly be expecting to catch walking that fast and in a theater with 10 people in it? This place needs to be torn down! Stop pretending to build on like you have for YEARS now and just tear it down. Yes, theremolding that people see out front has been there for years now. Why pretend to add on a small area instead if taking care of what IS making you money? Ugh very disgusted and disappointed. Dont waste your time, patience, or money on this health hazard. I never will again.

This is my favorite movie theater! It could use some updating, but nothing too bad. It has amazing prices on tickets and food (I always have to get some nachos!) And show the same great movies youd have to drive to gadsden for. The staff has always been friendly. The only reason I give it 4 stars is rennovations and that you buy your tickets from outside. I think thats neat, but if it is raining could be a slight inconvenience. Overall, we love this place!

Great theater. We live in between scottsboro and fort Payne and although Hollywood 10 is nice and has stadium seating, I still like fort Payne better because its half the price of scotsboro, (ticket price and concessions especially are much cheaper) and its just as clean and friendly if not more.
