Great dog park. Great space for the dogs to run and play. There is a shaded area with seats for the owners as well as a water fountain for both the owners and their pets. The place is well maintained and has a good amount of parking spots. It also has a smaller park for the smaller dogs. So far all the dogs that are brought in are well mannered and love to play. Most of them get very good workouts running around the park and playing with other dogs. They have a water hose to clean the dogs after they are done.Great place to bring your dogs. Safe and spacious.

So beautiful, its a giant nature trail in the middle of the city. You forget how close to people you are when out walking because of how peaceful it is. There are 2 separate off leash dog parks, and a huge trail for on leash walking as well.

Awesome area to take your dogs! The dog park is very well kept and a lot of area for them to run! The walking trails are wonderful for getting in long walks!

Great park to go to when you just want to have fun and play any sport. The dog park is great for the dogs to run around in too.

The park has many different things to do. I recommend going to the dog park and walking the trail. The first time I went I thought it was just a walk around the pond, but there are multiple pathways off the main area. When you fully get into the trail it will take you a while to find your way out. Watch out for dog droppings, as some pet owners do not pick it up. If you go, wear shoes you don’t mind getting full of sand. It’s an all sand path and the sand has always found a way to get all over me.

Great place to take the kiddos out, play go for a walk on the trail, you can even bring your dog too.

Was very happy with the location when first arrived. Without warning the sprinklers were turned on by a park worker and soaked our picnic table area. These tables are concrete and cannot be moved. Our vehicle was also in the spray area.A word of warning from the park worker, before turning on the sprinklers, would have allowed us to move out of the park without being soaked.

Dog park is nice, most people are friendly and the dogs are well mannered. Some of the obstacles for the dogs need updating but there is plenty of space for the dogs to run and play off leash and there is a good long trail to walk on leash.

Its a great park! Many fields for playing sports or just running around, a nice playground for kids, a popular dogpark and trail. The bathrooms are very used up but still taken care of.

Very nice park. We used to take our kids here all the time to the playground when they were very young and now we usually go for my son to play baseball games and for me to walk with my daughter. Before this they use to play soccer in here too.It is always clean. They have nice bathrooms and during the games, the people that sells food are always nice. I definitely recommend this park.

My friends and I love bringing our kids to play at the playground.The only drawback is that on su days are very full. And the shelters get very dirty.

Great park to spend some quality time with your children. Theres no shortage on things to do. In the kids park they have a big jungle gym, seesaw, swings, plenty of slides and they even have a rock climbing wall. They also have fields for football, soccer, and baseball and for those who want to experience more natural scenery they have some trails you can hike and get away from our busy life. Ill be visiting again with my son and I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

My girlfriend and I frequent this park to walk and socialize our two dogs. Ive been visiting this park for about 10 years now. They have a great fenced in dog park, a large section for bigger, more active dogs, and a smaller fenced in area for small or shy dogs. But, the real attraction at this park is the walking trails.They have an on lead area where you can walk your dogs for up to about 2 miles on trails which traverse several types of natural ecosystems. There are 4 trails in total which can be combined or omitted to provide the distance you desire. There is also a scenic pond which can be encircled if youd prefer to stay out of the woods.

Nice place to relax, but also to organize a nice party, you dont need to reserve just get there early, make sure you bring wireless speakers for music , theres no electric outlets, but besides that perfect

Greta park with a lot of options for all dogs. My dogs love chasing the squirrels that frequent the park. However, theres non trashcans inside the park so people leave bags full of poop on the ground and TONS of people dont even bother picking up. Watch your step.

I absolutely love to take my dog on walks here. The park is always clean, and maintained. They have a fenced in play area for your sog, and there are also trails on which you can walk your furry buddy. The trails are very well maintained, and have clear points that are marked for your safety and ease of navigating them. You must keep your pet buddy on a leash when walking on the trail, and I felt safe to allow my girl to walk and not have to worry about any animals being off leash, or aggressive. For the most part owners clean up after their dogs (poo), but you should be careful because there are some people who leave big piles of dog poo along the trail. This is a great place to walk your pet, and I will definitely take my girl back to this park.

Beautiful park,lots of paths to walk,nice unleashed fenced areas. Pretty lake. Only complaint is the property is messed up by lazy dog owners that dont clean up dog poo. Plastic bags are supplied and buckets to put it in. Water fountains for dogs,lots of shade. Smells bad because of the lazy dog owners. Beautiful park !! Please clean up after your animal.

I think is a nice park, the area for dogs is great. I think it would be a lot better with a running track for people to jog or run and a couple of basketball areas

Clean park & fun for all ages. No parking fee. Bathrooms need to be cleaned. Even my 2 year old said the bathroom was dirty.

Nice place and nice view of the city. There is lots of things to do in this park. My children really love this place. Running track is also good.

Buckingham Park is a great place to easily log 5K of trail-running. In fact, I ran 10K by circling the hiking trails and the perimeter of the sports fields twice. I used my Garmin Forerunner to measure my distance. The park also has a fenced dog park, playground, restrooms and water fountains (& plenty of parking). I do not recommend running the trails alone. You never know when an injury will hit so its best to have a friend with you. Nevertheless, I consider Buckingham Park an excellent hidden gem for a quick trail run or nature walk.

It is nice to relieve stress and play on the playground. And also it doesnt have any traffic.

Nothing against the park. Its a cute little dog park. There should be trash cans for the poop bags, but theres plenty of seating and cute things for the dogs to play with. Theres qaterbowls and gallons of water everywhere, along with two or three fountains. There just werent any dogs there. There was two larger dogs, but they left when I came in.

I love coming here and when the dog park is full, we take the paths and they are nice for just clearing your mind. Something for the kids, dogs, and yourself.

Another great doggy walk takes about an hour to do all the three trails walking fast, gets soggy in the summer.More and more selfish owners NOT picking up after their dog does its business!!Two off lead areas and two water fountains and a little shower for Fido.Parking gets bad in the Winter and at weekends.Update 2017 Scumbags now shagging the parking lot!!! leaving used Condoms and empty beer cans.Park Rangers not doing anything about it Shame on you.

Large fenced area for dogs to run & play; also gets big puddles after rain. Great for the dogs but be prepared for them & you to get dirty! Also a smaller adjacent fenced area for dogs less inclined to cavort with lots of other dogs.

Another great Lee County park. I visit to take my dogs to the Barkingham dog park. Two large enclosures for pets to run loose...one for larger dogs and another for smaller dogs. There are also great walking trails where dogs are permitted on leash.

My daughter and I love this park. We bring our dogs to walk the trails at the Buckingham Dog Park which is on the same property. The only wish is to have a little more shade at the playground.

I love the beautiful park

Rules are posted before you even enter the park. However some people feel those rules dont apply to them or their dog(s).Some people bring their dogs that are not socialized in playing with other dogs and this can cause for dogs fighting.Due to all the rain the the mosquitoes are feasting.The county has provided nice park for all to enjoy for that I am grateful. We all should do our best to keep the park clean. As we should all know the county can take it away.So clean up after your dog(s) as well as yourself. Dont allow your dogs to dig holes. Most of all socialise your dogs to avoid the dogs being hurt or even a dog owner from being hurt.

Great park for the trails and the dog park. The dog park could use a little still in fixing the fence in select spots, and adding some cement around the water fountain, but overall great!
