This is really a great idea! Can get a boat, go have fun, get back & just turn the keys over to the dock staff! No cleaning, no loading/unloading, no repair work. Just the fun part of having a boat! Yes, on popular weekends you have to plan ahead with your reservations. Often you can just show up & get a boat where another member came in early or changed plans.

Best way to go! I have been a member since 2004. They have a great line of fishing boats, pontoons or just cruising setups. This is how it works, go to the dock, check out a boat. (Dont forget to tip your dock master) leave to go fishing, cruise whatever! Bring the boat back, pay for gas, thats it! No hassle no clean up, just a good day! I can not tell you how nice it has been to belong to such a great boat club! Give it a try, you will not regret it!

We just joined the club this spring in Ft. Myers. We have been out 5 times so far on 3 different boat styles and every trip was great. The boats are always clean and the dock workers are very helpful.

Let me start off by this.... the dock staff does not ever answer the dock phone. They were extremely rude. The older lady there was just rude. I called as a reciprocal I have never been out if there no one knew the water ways. The older lady gave me complete attitude when I called in regards to the 2nd anchor which they don’t give and they consider it “dangerous” to use 2 anchors on a island. She told me to anchor and swim to island. Crazy but the walkie talkies are a bad way of communicating they never answered that and it was hard to hear and choppy. Also NO radios on the boats. Crazy!!

Great deal for boater people.

We just recently joined. We had our first lesson and the captain, captain Gary was really attentive and helpful. The boats are really nice, theyre all pretty new, and there are many different types of boat you can choose, depending on what type of outing your looking to go on. The price is not cheap, but considering what you get, and that you dont have to maintain the boats, it seems like a really good deal.

This concept of boat rental would probably be OK if you lived here year around, but the math doesnt work out for snow birds.

Just started in the club. Nothing but great, friendly service so far! I recommend it to anyone that wants to boat/fish but doesnt want the negatives of owning and maintaining a boat.

Had a problem with the sales person figuring out what membership would best fit our needsHe sent the paperwork we filled it out went to the bank purchased a cashiers check and then we were told we were not going to be able to do that membershipHe never called us to say we couldnt do that membership and if it wasnt for us calling him to ask another question We would never have knownSo we decided to go with carefree boat club and we didnt have any nonsense And the membership was less expensive along with the monthly duesBeware of price changing
