Dolphin World was a unique experience. The animals look healthy, swim around in what looks like natural pools in the Keys surrounded by trees. Everyone was practicing Covid precautions, with temperatures taken, mask and social distancing. The facility is well laid out and easily handicap accessible. The parrots and their handlers were knowledgeable, very friendly and personable. My daughter swam with the dolphins, which she enjoyed with the others who were there at the same time. The dolphins came up to everyone during a short free swim time. We ate ate the little food shack the food was good and served quickly.Great overall experience and would highly recommend for all ages

I had an amazing time at Dolphin World. It was so much fun being in the same water with these majestic animals. The trainers were sweet and made sure everyone got to participate. You are in a group of 10 people or so and you wait in the pool (at the side) while everyone has a chance. There is a viewing area for family and friends can observe. It is worth it to buy the photo package too -- its something I will never forget.

Girlfriend and I had an amazing trip to South Florida. We enjoyed Dolphin World. We swam with the Dolphins and Sting Rays. We look forward to it again one day.Sean

Fantastic experience! I have never personally been so close to a dolphin and this was a phenomenal opportunity. They allow for great pictures as well. Unfortunately, there was not enough interaction time with the dolphin. I was in and out of the water in less than 30 minutes, and mind you there were 10 or 11 other people in my group. Although, for the price, I can’t complain too much. The people are very nice and accommodating. Overall, good experience.

My husband and I booked the 30 minute Dolphin Swim Adventure during our honeymoon. I have loved dolphins ever since watching Flipper as a child.A staff member named Evan showed us around before our dolphin swim and told us a lot of interesting information about the turtles and sharks.We appreciated how structured the time with our dolphin was- though we were in a group of ten we all got equal time with Kasik. My husband and I especially enjoyed the “dolphin ride”.Definitely recommend!

I enjoyed every minute of this as did my family! I swam with the dolphins in the Dominican Republic but this experience at Gulf World was worth every penny. The staff is very talented and out going, I would recommended this place for any age!

My family and I recently visited Dolphin World and did the swim with dolphins Royal experience. This was my daughters dream and all I can say is that all three of my children had the experience of a lifetime! My kids did the Royal Dolphin Experience a few weeks ago.... AMAZING!!! I’m still jealous! They were so friendly and they got to do so much with the dolphins! This will be a lifetime memory for both of them (ages 9 &16). They talked about it the rest of the trip. It is a bit pricy which I expected but it was their favorite part of their whole trip! They don’t let you take pictures or videos which I was disappointed about but they have a photographer that took the most amazing photos of the whole experience for you, it does cost extra but I got like 100-150 shots for about $100! And they were all wonderful! Captured the whole experience very well! :) Then we spent a couple hours exploring the rest of the exhibits. Fed sting rays! It was a really cool place!

What an AMAZING experience!!! From the minute John, our driver, picked us up in West Palm Beach, to the second he dropped us back off at the end of the day, we were smiling. The dolphin experience was enjoyable. The only suggestion I would have is for smaller groups with each trainer in order for more interaction with the dolphins and less downtime. We also did the seal experience. It was FANTASTIC! 100% interactive, educational and fun! The trainers were knowledgeable across the board. They were willing to answer any any question. One of my children has special needs and they were incredibly supportive, encouraging, patient and kind. I cannot say enough good things. We have memories for a lifetime (and gorgeous photographs as well!) Id do it again in a heartbeat!

My daughter and I spent a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at Dolphin World. Directions to the park were easy to follow. The small size of the park made it easy to navigate. Purchasing tickets was easy and the map of the park was simple to understand. The schedule of events and presentations flowed in such a way that we could enjoy almost everything without long waits between shows. The trainers clearly care for the animals. We enjoyed pizza for lunch which was reasonably priced and delicious. The highlight of our visit was a dolphin experience; a bucket list thrill. The cost was worth every penny and I was able to take photos and video of my daughter, for an additional fee. Guests who experienced the dolphins alone could purchase photos done by the park professional photographer for an additional significant fee. We hope to return for our next visit to Miami. Well worth the time and money. Two thumbs up!

The Dolphin Encounter was a fantastic experience for my Sister and Niece when they visited Florida from Denmark, it is highly recommended and there is no way you wont walk away happy and full of joy.

Dolphin World was wonderful in getting my family into a dolphin tour that was completely, last minute on our part and booked. The rep “JJ” was awesome, making sure all details were explained. The tour itself, although it rained, was the highlight of our vacation. The staff at Marineland was very knowledgeable and friendly. They looked to really care for the mammals. We will do it again when in Florida in the future. Thanks Dolphin World!!

My best friend and I went here to swim with the Dolphins and had the best time of our lives! You have 2 packages to choose from. Ride the Dolphins or just swim and play, we choose swim and play. You also have a choice of having you picture taken while doing this. I recommend having your picture taken you get 3 high quality pictures of you dancing, kissing the Dolphin and one of him kissing you back! Trainer was extremely great at explaining how to give signals to make your Dolphin do commands for your pictures. Would do it again. Kids were also in the training pool but they were scared to have the Dolphins touch them. Great experience! This is a deep deep pool, but pictures are on the edge of pool.

We loved the dolphin experience! The time we got to spend with them was amazing. Seeing the manatees up close & the young woman there gave us a wonderful history and lesson about them. However many of the other staff were not as friendly or informative. the young woman feeding the manta rays was absolutely rude and we clearly were an irritation to her. Some employee training would make this a true 5 star experience. (Disney has this training down to an art!) One note, if you swim with the dolphins, be aware they are animals and do not follow our human clock! The day we were there, we had to wait several times because of a rowdy young dolphin. Safety of humans and dolphins was a priority for the staff and we appreciated their caution. Just dont make plans after your swim so you have the flexibility of time and enjoy the animals stress free. Our flight home was that afternoon so delays were a bit stressful but in the end, it all worked out!

Oh, we are so glad you asked for our review. My family has been looking forward to this type of experience for years! Unfortunately, it was some of the employees/staff that made our experience quite unpleasant. When we were driving to the site we got stuck in traffic for THREE different accidents. We knew this might put us just a few minutes late, so we called over and over again until someone finally answered the phone to let them know our situation. We were scheduled for a dolphin experience and they asked that we r there at least 30 minutes early. Because of the traffic, we got there 8 minutes late. When we walked through the front door the gal in charge rudely and condescending scolded us in front of a line of customers for being 8 minutes later than they....asked....but still on time. She was just plain HORRIBLE! The couple that arrived ahead of us stopped my family after we were “scolded” to make sure our kids were ok....as THAT greeting was definitely not the greeting one would expect when a family just spent hours on the road to get there, called and let them know our situation of being stuck in traffic over and over again, and also spent hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars for this dolphin experience. The blonde older lady who “greeted” us at the door pretty much crushed our excitement for the day. We ran into her several times during the day and at one point asked for her name and explained that we would be complaining about her. Instead of trying to smooth things over with the customers/kids, she arrogantly smiled and said, “OKAY, GOOD!” Honestly, just a completely inappropriate and nasty disposition. THEN, to make things worse, during our dolphin experience (which cost our family HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS), the main dolphin instructor was about as unpleasant, in-personable, and a couple times just rude. Hundreds of dollars spent on an experience that SHOULD have been so magical for everyone, but most of us just uncomfortable and hoping we wouldn’t be the person she would make an +*^%@&$ out of! So incredibly disappointed!!!!!!!!

We went during the weekday during the first time frame in the day. Which was perfect because it was just my family and one other family. I chose the wade in the pool experience since my children 8 and 11 cant swim very well. They first lead you on a tour around the place. We had perfect weather, it was partly cloudy so it wasnt uncomfortable standing out in the sun at all. If you go when the weather is completely sunny it would probably be pretty hot, but it is Florida! We live in WI.The trainers and the educators were all very friendly, my children and I learned a lot about dolphins. We got our life jackets on and then we headed in the pool. We were with Toque and it was an awesome experience!! My kids and myself and 2 other girls were in there for around 1 hr. We each got an equal amount of time with the dolphin. It was over too soon but it is such a remember-able experience! It was a little pricey, but you are helping out wildlife and really, it is one of those once in a lifetime things.

It was so much fun to see all the different aquatic animals. They had shows all day so you were never bored. Not too large so you arent walking most of the time to get to an attraction. I paid to swim with the dolphins and it was amazing and so interactive. I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting or living in Miami. Very nice!

My son, daughter and I had a wonderful time! My son has Autism and the staff was understanding and patient with us. The dolphins were great! We also enjoyed the Miami Seaquarium. My son loved the sting rays. Great part of our Florida vacation. Nice memories.

We are so exited for this trip. Customer service has made this so amazingly easy to book this trip for our daughters birthday and our extended family. Answered every question with extremely fast response and everyone was so nice. I have heard nothing but great things about this place.

My daughter had a great time. The only drawback for me was that you cannot take pictures inside the area where the experience takes place. You have to buy the pictures from them that a staff member takes. So be prepared to spend another 60 dollars if you want a memory of your time there.

We also enjoyed the things the island had to offer after too. The snorkeling, inflatables, and lunch were the perfect addition to the day. What an incredibly awesome time! We attended Marineland Dolphin Adventure and the staff was friendly, courteous and very informative. My wife loved swimming and interacting with the dolphins and I enjoyed seeing her smiling and having such a wonderful experience! She checked another item off of her bucket list!We highly recommend! The experience is priceless!

We had a wonderful time at the Dolphin Encounter. We did the encounter and did not need to buy the beach day pass as the water trampolines were closed when we finished the encounter due to low tide would have been nice to know ahead of time. The buffet of food was good to feed our large group. We snorkeled on both sides of the island and brought our own snorkel gear. The pictures taken at the dolphin encounter were well worth purchasing as they put them on usb drive so we were able to share amongst the group. Plenty of chairs to lounge in. We took the 10am boat and returned on the last boat back to nassau no problems.

My daughter had an amazing experience. The trainers were wonderful and super friendly. She was able to interact and ride a dolphin and learned lots of things about them. The only thing is that photos are great but incredibly expensive.

My entire life I have wanted to swim with the Dolphins. I finally got to do this at Dolphin World. It was an amazing experience. The trainers were wonderful with all of us. The dolphin was so gentle for having to have to do the same thing over and over. But oh so sweet. All the other shows at Dolphin World were a delight to see. So much to do. We spend the whole day there. Really enjoyed ourselfs.

We brought our toddlers, and we had such a great time. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The view is astounding. The dolphin was friendly and gentle. Our trainer was very nice and informative. If you have someone who is going to take pictures, a long zoom lens is recommended or a waterproof camera. I like that they had a photographer who had certain poses for us to do and that he went over that information beforehand. Bring your own food because the cafeteria leaves something to be desired. I like that our tickets included the park admission and a free shuttle too.

First time there and loved it. Great service and experience. Loved meeting the dolphins and meet them ! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a dolphin interaction !

My daughter loved it! We did the royal swim which is the most expensive, but it had the least amount of people and I had to dolphins for the group so she got a lot more hands on time. It is a little bit of standing around and the trainers interacting more with the dolphins then the people paying for it, but she loved it nonetheless.

Took my wife while in Miami for her first experience with dolphins and we both loved it. I had touched dolphins before but never had the interaction I had with this experience. And being able to swim with the dolphin while holding onto its fin was an amazing experience. We even saw Katie Holmes who was in Miami for New Years doing the same dolphin experience that we had just finished! The dolphins and the staff were super friendly and this was by far the highlight of our New Year in Miami! Many great shows and exhibits to see at the Seaquarium included in your ticket price.

It was a fun experience to see my daughter swim with the dolphins. However, it is not worth almost $500. The pictures pack were expensive and did not include many pictures. It took a while before they actually got started. There is not many exhibits that are eye catching. Furthermore, it was the Miami Seaquarium that this took place at. Staff was friendly, but I would not recommend this place for the exhibits or shows. It was a good place however for dolphin swimming. It is not very big and after a while you run out of things to do.

The place was okay - appears the animals are well taken care of. The Dolphin swim was good, but really expensive for 30 mins and 1 ride in the water with dolphins.I didnt understand why they said check in at 1pm for swim with Dolphins at 2:45, which changed to 3:15 and then again to 4pm. Long day

I LOVED my dolphin interaction experience! It was awesome to interact one-on-one with the dolphin. I went to Discovery Cove many years ago, and I thought the dolphin interaction at Marineland was better than that at Discovery Cove, and a LOT less expensive. Granted, Discovery Cove has lots of other attractions (and is a full day trip), but if youre interested in a dolphin experience with a lower price tag, Marineland will not disappoint!

This was a horrible experience. I thought I was booking a trip with Dolphin Discovery only to find out later it was with Dolphin Island in Punta Cana. The package I booked was totally misrepresented. I booked the dolphin swim for my daughter and I and it was more like an encounter. We hardly got to swim with the dolphin at all. It also said we would swim with multiple dolphins not just one. Total scam. DO NOT BOOK DOLPHIN ISLAND. There are other excursion places that are better. We definetly didnt get what we expected. The speed boat ride was terrifying for my 8 year old. She cried the whole time. Very violent ride. Snorkeling was a joke. There was only 1 shark and the handler was super creepy. We were lucky to get 1/2 hour with the Dolphin yet the excursion was almost 5 hours long. Total waste of money and very misrepresenting in the advertisement of that you get.

On a recent trip to Oahu, I tried to check something off of my bucket list: Swim With The Dolphins. I had tried to book something like this in the past on different traveling adventures, but it never worked out. I knew about Sea Life Park and noticed different companies/organizations that offered packages and deals. I settled on booking with Dolphin World and it was an easy booking. I even got a personal phone call later to confirm my reservations and a number if I had any othere questions or concerns. Unexpected but really nice follow-up.The experience I had was awesome, but not really what I was looking for. I wanted a DOLPHIN encounter but ended up with a “wolphin” instead. The group I was in was also a bit larger than I anticipated. But I never felt left out even with the size of the group (about 15 or so) because even when someone else was having their time with Keka, being there so close to what was going on was very special. It was better than having a front row seat. The trainer was also very attentive and made sure everyone had a great experience.Am I disappointed I did not get my “dolphin” encounter? Absolutely not! What a special encounter with such a remarkable and rare creature. Besides, I guess I will just have to try this again and maybe experience time with a dolphin. And, I will look to see if Dolphin World can book me the next time I travel where I may have that chance again.
