A+ facility and grounds. A great driving range with unlimited balls. An oversized putting green to handle the crowd, and a great chipping green to practice all day long. Top notch club house with great staff. The course has a great layout, with plenty of room for error. The member tees make for a great test of your metal. Bring your A game, the greens are fast.

I never felt so welcomed they were so nice to me this really made my day and everybody was so on point as far as communication goes its really nice here

I got married here this March and it was AMAZING! The space is beautiful, buy the food is just spectacular. I am still hearing from guest that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The coordinator, Shelby, was great. She was always quick to respond to my emails and very reassuring about any concerns that that came up during planning.

I am not a member, but I play there 3 times a year, I saw a bad review on the internet, all private country clubs tell you to tuck in your shirt, they will never say Play as a 5 sum, even with me being a Caucasian, All non-members are monitored to make sure they move play along, Welcome to the world of private country clubs

Great place for family golf fun

I am not a member but I went to both the main office and club house. I have lost my dog and there were reports that he was in that area. I spoke to the manager of both areas and was treated with respect and kindness. Beautiful inside and out.

My husband recently visited this course on an annual guys golf trip. My husband plays at many courses throughout the world and always looks forward to any new course seeing as how much he loves the game of golf. Unfortunately I received a call that I will never forget after his round telling me about his unfortunate experience he had at this club. From the beginning he was treated as less that equal. the group was immediately told to tuck in shirts as if they didnt know the rules of golf. They were then split into a group of 4 and 5 by the starter after they had asked if they had needed to split in 3s seeing as how they had 3 tee times. They went on to begin their round and soon after started to encounter some unfortunate incidents by the clubs members. The members had the audacity to call in stating there were groups of black men on the course as if they had just snuck in. Although they did abide by golf etiquette, letting smaller groups play through and remained very respectful of the course. They went on to finish their round in discomfort already knowing that their kind was clearly not welcomed at the establishment. After finishing the round, they did notify the GM of the course, and although he was apologetic to the incident and stated that he could not be responsible for the actions of others, nothing else was really said or done. Now Ive been around golf for quite some time. Not only working at a country club but also being a member myself at a course. What I know about golf is that it is typically a place that does not see color. Tiger Woods has paved the way for golfers of color opening doors to some that would have never otherwise learned the greatness of the game of golf. It is sad to me that this incident has set this club back many years. Thank you Fort Lauderdale Country Club for reminding us that racism is still alive and well. And please members, dont worry. We will spend our $175 at a better course next year.

Two great courses, amazing drainage so I get to play way quicker than I would on other nearby courses, greens and conditions excellent. Tee times are easy for members, so I always get to play when I want. Pace of play is easily under 4 hours. Staff welcoming and its simply fun to be there, everyone is so friendly. So glad we joined as members.

Love this place..Best club around

This is members only, so Ive only Golfed in 3 different charity events. It is s great course though. 36 holes. I also like biking around the perimeter. There is a nice bike/walk path that goes around it.

Grady course nice club house

On January 18th I played this course with 8 other friends. We were on our annual golf trip and in 10 years and a number of different courses from Tampa to Orlando to Miami and Fort Lauderdale this was our first and worst experience we have had on a golf course. We were a group of 9 and had 3 tee times. We offered to break up into 3 but the starter said we could play a 4 and a 5. So this means we had extra time behind us because of the 3rd tee time. We teed off at 1030 and finished our round in about 4 hours and 30 minutes playing a course we never played and allowing 2 twosomes to play through. We were made uncomfortable from the beginning. We were immediately told to tuck in our shirts before we were even greeted with a good morning or how are today. We were then told in so many words that we lied about the starter letting us play a 4 and a 5. Im going to cut to the chase with this we are a group of 9 black successful men and this a prdomitaly white club and were victims of racism. Plain and simple. There were calls to the club saying they dont look like members. Hmm whats a member look like. Could I have joined that morning. First and last time playing this course and wouldnt recommend to anybody.

Great place, quiet and friendly staff. Food is awesome and love how they tore down the golf course to re do it and make it even better looking for the clients/guest to play in. Looking amazing and love the updated lights on the jogging path

I traveled to ft lauderdale on annual golf trip and played here and was treated very bad by the staff and race played a factor. I will not recommend this organization to anyone that has a certain level of moral values. Corse was good but I will not play golf where I’m not treated as an equal human being. I was charged a premium because I did not play with a current member. The GM did call my club to apologize on behalf of his staff and members but not one penny was offered in return or personal apology. 2/6/19- in reference to the response which again challenges my character. Our first group finished the round in 3hrs 36mins the last group finished their round in 4hrs 4mins and this was done while letting a single and a double play through. That is not slow play therefore the reason we were warned twice was not based on time it was based on members calling in to the shop saying their were players not looking like members on the course. (Don’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out). But we were aggressively forced to skip a hole and move alone when no one was behind the group. In reference to being offered complimentary rounds that never occurred and a flat out LIE! We did have a second round scheduled but I canceled because of the way we were treated. In regards to lining up tee-times with sistering club like I mentioned before it’s our annual we were able to find multiple tee-times that were accommodating. Also as I mentioned the GM was very respectful because he was not involved in the issue. The negative review is because of the staff and their attitudes!!!!

I live in the area. Our club has their annual holiday party there. Private golf club on a regular basis. Has a bar and a beautiful golf course.

A group of us travel throughout the U.S. 2 or 3 times a year to play golf and have fun. We played this course MLK weekend and it started off with a Hey Tuck your shirt in for a couple of the guys that was with us. There was no Welcome or Thank you for being here today. Also a few fellas were looking at things to buy for souvenirs and asked employees about the product but they act like they didnt hear us. Ive played all over the world being that i am military and never have I encountered such lack of customer service. While playing a couple of twosomes came through and we let them pass as we should. Doing so we might have fell behind by letting them pass. Dont get me wrong I am a very course etiquette person and dont like to be held up when playing. So we also found out that a couple of members stated that we didnt look like members???? What do members look like? Please explain!!! When we finished the round a couple of the guys went to the pro shop and tried to make a complaint about the asshole of an employee that was very very rude. Basically calling us a liar. That employee has no respect for customers at all and needs to be dealt with. If I pay almost 200.00 to play a course I should get great customer service with that. I shouldnt be treated any different than the members! My money is just as good. Management.....please do not copy and paste your response. That is very tacky.

Wonderful experience, beautiful course

My dad spent 30+ years playing the courses there since retiring to South Florida. My wife and I would visit 2X a year with the girls from Ohio. A lot of memories.A visit since his passing was wonderful. The service and people were terrific.

As a member I can honestly say its the best place for lady golfers of all handicaps in South Florida. The staff is so friendly and accommodating to members needs. The courses are maintained professionally and the clubhouse and restaurant welcomes both members and guests for all occasions.

Best drainage in Broward County!! I was reminded again after the heavy downpour this past Sunday how great the drainage is at FLCC. Back on the course minutes after the all clear, and NOT cart path only. Having not one but two well maintained courses is another huge plus!

They had a college fair Valdosta State University of Georgia came and I was impressed with the college and it was very beautiful inside

Attended a memorial service in the events (?) room. Food was very good and presented well. The staff was responsive to our needs but decided to noisily clear the tables during the eulogy.

My parents, Dr. Lilo and Tenchita, attended yesterday afternoon, a Sunday luncheon, to celbrate the 90th Birthday of their longtime friend, Maria del Carmen Almendros. Their friendship dated back to the Cuban revolution, in the late 1950s!!!The luncheon was very well planned and totally organized. I was very , very impressed with the decor and professionalism with the Fort Lauderdale Country Club, and after just speaking with their Head Planner of Events, Rebecca S., I am convinced that our moving company, Nationwide Van Lines, can organize many wonderful events for our future business clients, such as Real Estate Realtors and International agnest from all over the world, visiting.
