I highly do NOT recommend this 70 year old plus man for family photos.Mr. Schot, bad photos may not tarnish your career, the way you reacted to your clients does. Please do not post the pictures you took publicly as you did to another of your client previously without his permission or I will pursue legal action.

I am very pleased by the product photos of my Axion-Trainers made by James Schot. I use them for my Ax-core Workouts website. The first round of photos turned out so well that I returned a year later for more. The lighting was magnificent and James is a pleasure to work with.

We hired James to take product photos and were very pleased with the outcome. James came out to our location with all his equipment, he was very professional and took his time to get the best results. Response to Juan: Juan told me he had 30+ products to photograph. 30+ means to me possibly 33 or 37. I gave a quote based on what he told me. He wondered about helping me. I told him sure, it could make things go quicker and save you some money as with 40 years experience I have full confidence in my work. BOTTOM LINE he comes in with over 60 products and expects the same price for services! The work is so terrible he loved it seeing it before leaving the Studio and before I added a modest $200 to the bill, and uses it now on his website. FUNNY ENDING - in our exchanges (I have it all recorded) he even told me he should have been paid for assisting. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Photographers GET PAID UPFRONT... Some sample photos below...

James is a very professional guy; he did a business head shot for me. He took his time to ask me what I’m looking for in terms of results, and then spent some 10-15 min just adjusting the lights to get the proper setting. We did different postures and clothing; I was offered to choose from multiple pictures. Then we went to the computer to do final touches on the pictures. I was very satisfied with results. His prices by the way are very competitive in the area. I would definitely use him in the future and recommend him to my friends and family.

I am not a model, so I was a little nervous about what to do, but James helped me feel comfortable and confident, and the photos he took make me very happy. Do not trust this photographer, if you do business with him get everything noted on paper. A contract is needed for this photographer to be honest. Do not try a verbal agreement.We tried him for product photography we made it clear the standards he needed to meet. He was aggressive on getting the business, talks a good game but did a terrible job. Their are better photographers for product photography locally.

I asked James to help me with my family album. He is very knowledgeable and creative and his recommendations helped me design an album that exceeded my wildest dreams.

I had a great 2 sessions with James and I am already taking great pictures with my Canon 5D Mark IV. He is very knowledgeable and very professional.
