Great place to have a kids birthday party, they have pony rides, animals, play areas, and other fun related fun things to do. I recommend this place even though there can be a lot of extra people running around. You need one adult per child for the pony rides, so be prepared for that.

We had a lg b-day party for our 4yr old w/the rented space. Looks like a barn, is decorated with lg beams, quilts, its own working kitchen. We set up the tables we needed, had pinatas, & while we picked up, all the kids & guests walked right out the door into petting zoo area- included in package price. Everyone had a great time!

Went on a beautiful Saturday it Is a large enough place that everyone has enough room to walk around. You can feed chickens, goats, and sheep, we wished you could feed more animals but for the price to get in it makes sense. Animals arent cheap to buy and raise etc. Enjoyed the silo with the fun facts. Little one is 17 months and had fun running around. Its all paved which is nice we were worried you would be walking in mud. If we are back in Fort Collins we will be back.

Always a great place to visit. I have brought my kids here over the years and now my granddaughter. I think that it used to be free but now it is $3.25 a person (Ages 2-84). Definitely worth it though. Great experience with the different animals and beautiful scenery all around. This is definitely a place you dont find around much anymore. Located next to a great park to take the kids to before or after. Lots of places to bring and enjoy a picnic .

I have been here quite a few times throughout my 10+ years living here. I forgot to post this review back in October but here it goes (lol). I decided to take my nephew and younger cousin out of the house because its better then kids playing video games all day. It was a pretty cold day but not going to stop us from looking at some pretty animals! Theres literally nothing negative about this place. First off, the prices are really great. Secondly, theres a lunch seating area next to a playground not far from the farm so you can take the kids there after or before you pet some animals. The kids enjoyed themselves, they touched and looked at everything there is there. It was fun for me as well seeing as its been years. This is definitely a regular place to go to and I also love the location because its close to us.

My mom and I took my nephew and niece to the farm. We had not come in a long time. Its a small farm, but still plenty of fun. Cows, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks to see. We did the hay ride and pony rides, and picked out some pumpkins. Affordable family fun for all.

Adorable animal farm with lots of cute animals. The kids loved the goats, sheep, horses and ponies, cows and geese. There are also chickens with laying boxes the kids can watch, hands-on interactive experiences, a playground with an old Farmall the kids can climb on, a working hand pump, and lots and lots of demonstrations. Staff is all super friendly and helpful too! Dont forget to buy a bag of grains at the front to feed to the goats and sheep (but NOT the horses or ponies)!

Went to a childrens birthday party here and was amazed at how well coordinated this place is. The kids loved getting to feed and animals and ride on the ponies. Some other highlights are the grain silo, barn, and of farm equipment (foot powered lathe) on display. When wed visited in October, the had awesome prices on pumpkins. If you have small kids, The Farm is definitely worth checking out!

A great, affordable day trip if youre looking to get out of the house with your little kids. Food is available for purchase to feed some of the farm animals. They have a little bit of farm equipment history in some of the buildings. Theres a small play area, and towards the back corner theres a large flower bed your little one can explore. Overall, we had a good time there with our 4 year old. It was the perfect size to not be overwhelming.

A must for kiddos. You ca. Ride ponies, feed goats and sheep. The piggies are there most of the year but eventually go to market so be prepared to explain if the sign is up. This is our favorite park and playground for the kiddos. Something for toddlers thru teens. Much of colorado is dedicated to parks and recreation for young and old, and Ft Collins is my favorite so far. I just saw a couple families walking with inner tubes from nearby waters here at the park, that will be our next plunge!

Great place for little kids! Weve been taking our kids here since we moved to CO in 2015 and they all love it (4yr and under). They offer free and fee-based activities in the summer and have special Halloween and Christmas Events. Some think it is pricey, but if you go once a month, the annual membership pays for itself in just a few months. Great outdoor activity all year long if you live close!

This is one of our favorite places. My two year old loves to pet the animals and feed them and play at the small playground. I have been a few times and it has never been too busy where we were not able to enjoy ourselves. If you want to go on a pony ride they are only on the weekends and really not for the littles who cant hold on by themselves. I wish I had known that before I paid because we were not able to truly enjoy it. I will wait a few months until she is more comfortable on her own because the parents have to guide the horse so they cant help their little one hold on. The gift shop is cute too.

What a WONDERFUL place to take the kids for an afternoon, or to throw a birthday party!!! Whether you are the sort of parent that has no idea what to do for a birthday party, or just want something different this time around, you owe it to yourself to research the activities offered by this park/farm. Youll definitely have trouble pulling small kids away from the animals. You can do pony/horse rides, go inside the pens of the petting zoo, and have a picnic. The farm is set up as a teaching experience, so if you read the signs next to the buildings, equipment, etc., you can easily turn it into something more than a petting zoo. Want to throw a private birthday party, they have facilities for that. For example, the old farmhouse is set up as a location to host such a party, and included in the price is a staff member who will assist you and serve as your guide through the petting zoo.

We had people aged 4 to 76 with us and everyone enjoyed it. The pony ride made the 4 year olds day! My brother said if we would have waited 20 more minutes, we could have gone on a hayride. I dont know if they do that all year round. There were chickens, ponies, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks and cows (if I forgot any of you little fellas, Im sorry!). There is also a playground tractor and some other park like toys to play on. Plus cheap prices!

I don’t know how you could give less than 5 starts to this kind, friendly and relaxed children experience in a town of 150,000 people. If you like to spend more than 60$ by just going to the movies, do so. If you want to pay almost nothing as an entrance fee, have 25 cents feed for the animals, and actually breathe fresh air and have your children learn something, there you go! They also have additional pony/horse rides. Not the kind where they are tethered to a wheel. You just walk with your child holding the reigns… watch their smile. Thank you Fort Collins for providing such a nice place!!!

My family enjoyed this farm. I recommend visiting and spending about an hour or more. I had a 3 year old, 9 year old, and 11 year old. Some had already seen animals, but my youngest was able to roam around on the clean wide sidewalks to explore. It is a clean place. We at purchased a lunch for take out and ate at one of the picnic tables in tree shade. It was an opportunity to slow down from a busy day and observe the animals as we ate.Visiting the small farm museum and the animals was fun. There are pony rides for an extra fee. Adults must lead the horse or pony for their child, so be prepared if you are by yourself and you have multiple children. The ponies do not ride with approaching thunderstorms for safety (sound of thunder might spook them). Also be aware birthday parties will have priority for the pony rides.
