Buy at your own risk. I understand this business not accepting returns obviously because of the health risk conditions of products but if its truly defective to begin with there is absolutely no accountability for this business and the staff presents themselves as very unprofessional with that very impression when you walk in as well. But to go in and look around for entertainment, cool.

I have never had such a terrible shopping experience! I came in on a Sunday and the woman working was rude and not helpful in the least. Its unfortunate, she cost the store a $180 sale.Also... I found items from in the store, exact same... online for less than half of what theyre charging. This place is an overpriced joke.

Large selection to look at. Unfortunately a bit of it is is low quality items, and the high quality items have a high mark up. I was refused an exchange, refund, or future discount for a defective product due tonite being opened. I was given a sincere apology, which I do appreciate, but it doesnt get my money back or a product that works.

I was very unhappy with my visit to this store. Ive been shopping around for a very specific style of undergarment that I can wear under my wedding dress - its been hard to find something that is supportive but has a low-enough back that it will not be visible. I thought that maybe Dr. Johns, being on of the few lingerie shops in town, may have something to suit my needs. I was already uncomfortable enough going in to the store just because I knew what to expect, and sex shops are definitely not on my frequently visited list. When I walked in, there was only one other person in the store - the cashier - and she was sitting on a stool behind an incredibly tall counter that I couldnt easily see over. I wandered around the shop aimlessly trying to find the right style of undergarment with no luck. I was hoping that the cashier might offer to help me find what I was looking for (a service that I expect in any store I walk in to), but she pretty adamantly ignored me. I finally went up to ask her for help, and she was just sitting behind the counter on her cell phone. She looked at me like I was inconveniencing her by asking for assistance and bluntly told me that they did not carry anything that would suit my needs. She immediately returned to her cell phone and I left without a sorry or a can I help you with anything else? Having worked in clothing sales, I expect a certain amount of courtesy from sales associates, and I know what is manageable when you actually care about your job. Such an unfortunate experience, I definitely will NOT be returning here for anything else in the future.

The door bell isn’t loud or noticeable as you walk in , other patrons will come in & that’s when you’ll hear it, also it’s not annoying. Almost all sex shops are overpriced in my opinion but you’re usually paying for a pretty unique product(s) your physically using in and outside of your body, so i’ll always pay the extra bucks to know I’m being safe also , for the fact this place stays open until 12. unlike every other place no one seemed to leave a 1 start review on. I love being able to go out later when no one is there and get what I need! Less daylight people I know and judgement. Even if it is just a massage oil. Also the cashier was helpful and discreet reading the energy of my nervous husband! Thanks so much for convincing us consumers with a place.

I have been in this store several times over the last two years. Each time I go in I find something new n someone awesome to help me find it. Today I bought a sexy new corset and a Few accessories. Although I didnt catch her name the lady who assisted me was wonderful and I hope she is working the next time I go in! Much love from a fan!

I absolutely LOVE my lingerie and my heels! I like to look sexy! I try to make it into Dr. Johns at least twice a month. The employees are super friendly and want to make sure you are enjoying your visit to their store. And the shoes! Love, love, love them!!!

I went to Dr. Johns with my wife looking for some more items for the bedroom. The service was horrible. The associate was far too concerned with her phone and closing rather than helping us find what we wanted. We went at 9:40 PM, 20 minutes before closing, so we had plenty of time to shop around for what we wanted. The associate was speaking in a extremely rude manner, like we were inconveniencing her with our business. She spoke down to us, and did not even bother to assist us while we were looking. I work in retail, and no matter what time it is, how many customers there are, or what the situation is, the associate must be professional and kind. I am never going back there. Not only was the service horrible, but the selection was waaaay overpriced. I spent $10 on a toy from a different store, and I found the same toy at Dr. Johns for over twice the price. It is a ridiculously priced and managed business. Dont waste your time and money here. They clearly need change.

Customer service was lacking. Ambience was very tacky, cheap feeling. Also as a newbie to this type of shop, some help would have been appreciated but instead I was completely ignored.

Prices raised over double by new management in the last several months. No one with a brain will pay 400 dollars for a Lelo toy. Its like they dont realize people own smart phones and can look up comparison prices. A toy that you can get directly from the manufacturer for 139.00 should not sell in a shop for over 400 dollars. Do your self a favor and look at it in the store then buy it online. This is a chain not a locally owned shop and you can tell with the prices.

I went to get some stuff for the bedroom at 11:45 on the 17th and kind of expected them to be closed already. Not only did the nice lady behind the counter know which to get but also knew a lot about her a five and left feeling comfortable instead of dirty like the book ranch.the movie selection. I was so pleased with the services that I tipped bucks.

Less seedy than the Book Ranch, but has slowly declined in cleanliness and order over time. Sales associate made me feel not only awkward, but unwelcome, and the prices are GROSSLY overpriced. Bought new item online for half the price as in store. Go online, or consider going to Denver.

This place is very warm and welcoming. Has good customer service, very polite employees, and all in all very nice place and atmosphere.

I was surprised at the variety of stuff they have, including a few premium items like Lelo toys. Thats literally the only positive.I immediately got the stink-eye from the attendant the moment I walked in. And despite greeting her cheerfully, I got a grunt in return.Additionally, everything is *massively* overpriced. For instance, there is not a single butt plug available for less than $50. I might pay those prices for boutique-quality toys, but those prices are for generic mystery-rubber toys.Doctor Johns is like one of those adult bookstores you see along the side of the interstate, except way overpriced.

Although this store is much nicer than going to the bookranch the employees almost make this store a worse experience. Every time I have gone there the employees are never helpful and seem to not want to be there. I was there this past sunday and the clerk was so rude I am not sure I really care to go back. Plus the pricing is wayyyyyyy HIGH just order online and save anywhere from 20-40. This place would be a good choice if you need something now. But with the employees there I am not too sure I will go back. It isnt a very welcoming environment and with the business it is, it would benefit from feeling that way.
