We had a lovely stay at the Farmhouse Inn, highlighted by a wonderful day of wine tasting planned by Teresa. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and people are so friendly.4 instead of 5 stars because we didn’t think the service quite hit that 5 star mark, and the inn was very overpriced. For this price level, things should really be perfection. Little tiny issues- housekeeping coming in when we just had breakfast delivered, thin cheap towels, broken pool heater, etc just took away from the experience. Overall an amazing place but just fell a tiny bit shy of that special experience to make it worth the cost, and to encourage return visits.We did love the nightly wine tastings and having a great restaurant on the property. Tesla charger was a huge plus! Best part of the restaurant were the incredible wine pairings by Emily.
Wow! If you are looking for a place to stay in the heart of wine country, look no further! The answer to any request is yes. If they did not have on property what you wanted they would send someone off property to get it for you. Dining was over the top at their Michelin Star restaurant. If you love wine do the pairings at the dinner. It is a treat! We will return here as does many of their guests.
We went to the Farmhouse for a ‘moms over night’ to celebrate my besties 34th bday. We were welcomed with wine tasting and homemade bath scrub. It was wonderful. Even with recent covid shut downs we were able to eat outside on the patio from the Farmstand food truck. It was delicious. Gourmet. Yum! Everything was very clean, they took great safety precautions (everyone was wearing masks, contactless check in and out, space oak distancing) and made us feel comfortable. Will definitely return with my hubby for an anniversary wine getaway!
I didnt stay here, but was visiting someone who was & this is just the cutest mini hotel! Beautiful pool, fantastic restaurant, gorgeous grounds, room interior is cozy and well kept. Id definitely stay here
This place swept my bf and I off our feet!! From the second you arrive you are transformed into a whimsical world that’s is so incredibly peaceful as you realize your surrounded by flowers and trees. Every employee is so kind, going above and beyond, really making us feel like we’re at home, as everything in the suite was personalized to us. I think about our stay every day! Can’t wait to be back!
Restaurant is 5 stars.Staying at the hotel though..., thats where the rating falls off. Dont get me wrong,, everyone was really nice and the room was spacious and beautiful. However, ran into repeated housekeeping issues, wasnt expecting that room service is the Restaurants menu, so prepare yourself for that.Overall, a nice place, but for the cost, should have been flawless. Doubtful we will return to the hotel (definitely returning to the restaurant).
My husband and I were welcomed to the Farmhouse Inn as if it were our home! Every staff member and manager made sure to make us feel incredibly relaxed and stress free despite current stipulations surrounding the COVID 19 pandemic. The food was spectacular and the quaint accommodations were perfect! It was my definition of heaven on Earth and I dream of going back one day!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights - what a dream! The team there went above and beyond to make us feel totally at home. The room felt like our own little oasis. It was divine falling asleep to the fire every night. The service and the food was unmatched. What a truly special spot! Its rare to find a place that makes you feel so quickly on vacation and at home at the same time. We are counting down the days till we can go back!

Vast difference between rooms depicted and described online from those you receive, disappointment in comparison to many places we’ve stayed in In Sonoma and Napa Valleys. When I questioned, I was offered to upgrade for a fee TO THE ROOMS SHOWN ONLINE that are sitting empty. Lack of door on the closet that holds a refrigerator with blue light, bleach on the carpet, cracked tile and heavily chipped inexpensive furniture. Jetted tub doesnt work.I was curious why it receives great ratings and realized most are for the restaurant, which is fabulous.

From the minute we walked in, every detail was handled with care. Personal welcome notes, our luggage was carried from the car to our room while we tasted local wines.The cookies with turndown service were incredible. The room had everything and was cute and interesting.Our stop after leaving was an animal rescue and the restaurant gave us a giant box of scraps for the farm animals- who greatly appreciated it!We used the soaps and took some home.What a wonderful place!
Amazing- a wonderful, luxurious stay. The room with the outdoor patio was spacious, with the comfortable bed and beautifully done. Make sure to spend a little extra and take a larger room with the balcony. We got spoilt with the most delicious daily cookies, an indoor outpost fire place and luxurious bath and body products. The steam room and jacuzzi/tub in the bath were great. A heated pool and a fireplace, and a wonderful spa in house just about sums up what you need on a get away. The dinner at the in house restaurant was spectacular - the chef and his team are amazing. Must do if you stay here or are visiting. Thanks to the team here for making our stay lovely!
Farmhouse Inn is a hidden gem, with charming rooms and beautifully landscaped grounds with lots of vignettes featuring water features or fireplaces. Service was good, and the room was very clean. Those with vertigo should know that the floors arent level and the bed leaned to one side. My only real complaint was the restaurant food. Four of us ate breakfast and all thought the food was very bland. One of us even commented the BACON was not that great!

My friend and I stayed at the Farmhouse Inn for his birthday at the hotel for a week and it was easily the best hotels Ive ever been to.

My wife and I decided that to do the majority of the restaurants on our “to do list,” we needed to be in Sonoma for 3 nights. The choice of where to stay, we picked “heaven.” The irony of it all TC also know as Theresa the guest relations manager was an angel, I do a lot of traveling with my wife and my business partner and I’m not sure I can remember having someone as competent as TC taking care of us before. We had one special reservation set up she handled the other ones for us, plus if it wasn’t for her we’d have never had such a great day with Alexandra.The farmhouse is set on the middle of the forest and it’s idyllic and tranquil. The staff as accommodating as possible, and the rooms were fabulous. This inn complete with a spa and restaurant, (more on that later,) are definitely a place that you need to put on your go to places.
The room is clean, service is great. I use the restaurant for breakfast, and the next day I have room service. Both are great. The in-room amenities are great - Jacuzzi bathtub, in room sauna. The pool area is nice and you can make your own smores too.

The Farmhouse restaurant is a delightful place for dinner. We took the family out for Christmas Eve dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The wine pairing with the meal added a wonderful complement to the food served. The food was very flavorful so every bite was a pleasure. The cost is on the higher end especially when the wine pairing is added. The dress is “wine country casual” but I wore a sport coat and slacks and felt very comfortable.
Beautiful details with a wide range of complimentary extras -- a bath bar (soaps, scrubs, etc.), homemade cookies, smores, wine hour, house car for dinner transportation. Gorgeous property with tasteful, inviting grounds. Hospitable service!

My wife and recently visited the Farm House Inn Restaurant. It had been highly recommended by people we know. The experience was not what was expected. Our service was poor. Our waiter was a robot rattling off the details of the four course menu while never introducing himself or engaging us in any other manner. He incorrectly inputted the wrong entree for me and served my wife while I waited for 10-15 minutes for the correct entree. This really threw off and ruined the entire evening. I would also mention that my wife ordered the steak and it was average at best. At the end of the evening the waiter offered the old free desert trick which I thought was extremely poor. A very disappointing evening!
We are here for our anniversary last week and it is a great atmosphere. Very well done place and a very nice inviting staff. The ability to choose 3 or 4 courses was nice as well as the wide wine and beer selection. The rabbit for my main course was awesome. The mustard was a great way to accent the tender rabbit. For the pre-set price for dinner it was worth it. The property was impeccable and very inviting for guests.

This is for the restaurant and the staffs. Absolutely superb service. Food was wonderful with many outstanding dishes. Nothing pretentious, you can feel very relaxed while stay have a classy experience.
So much more value than a high-end ritsy hotel. It felt homey, rustic, and luxurious all at once. I couldnt have asked for anything further. They even have a cat.
Friendly and courteous staff, outdoor fireplaces and fire-pit for warmth, excellent food and rather quick service. Waiter answered questions fully, and even brought out a piece of produce as example. Noise level sometimes quite high. Very cozy interior.
Farmhouse Inn is a premium inn, but it is worth it! From our arrival and check-in through check out, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The food - both the included breakfasts and dinner - was delicious. Chocolate chip cookies were as good as reported on the website. Our room was spectacular and comfortable, and visits from Charlotte, the farm cat were welcomed. The roses were all blooming and the gardens were spectacular. It is the ideal spot for a special occassion or just to get away and recharge.We will definitely be back!
On a mother-daughter Sonoma trip, went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Outstanding food, wine selection and service. $$$$ but well worth the experience! Definitely would go back again!

We visited in early Feb, 2018 when the executive chef was on vacation. The sommelier totally did her wonder on building up the food and wine pairing before we tasted them. We tasted ocean from the octopus dish with the mineral and briny from the wine pairing. We had wonderful time to share her experience.

Of coarse this place is extremely yummy. If you dont have a steady income making alot of money . It is for the people who have money. To be able to enjoy this place. I wish I had money to be able to treat myself.
The food was very well presented and served as youd expect from a fine dining establishment. I had the sea bass main course and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce that accompanied it was delicious and really elevated the fish.

Went here a couple of years ago with friends in autumn. Walked away thinking wow. Service was top notch, food exellent, ambience just right.Went here last week for anniversary /birthday combo. Whilst still good, definitely seemed to have lost a bit of the wow factor.First time round you could hardly do anything without one of the wait staff appearing to offer more water, check if all was OK, fold a napkin etc.This time the service (whilst still high quality) was more hands off. Took a long time to place order for example and overall didnt give that ultra high quality feel. Also, my wife mentioned our event but they forgot to make note of it despite the table behind us getting a little something for a similar reason. Again just contributed to the 4 rather than 5 stars.For the record we both did 4 courses such with wine came to about $450.

Great experience at the Farmhouse Inn, with dinner being the best. The food and wine pairing was excellent made better by the great waiter and the Somelier who was very entertaining. Overall the rooms are overpriced and breakfast too. Charging $80 for a couple of eggs and sausage is too much. The spa was relaxing with great massage therapists. My only gripe would be the front desk staff were a bit immature. When asked to call wineries to make tasting appointments they simply circled a couple on a map. I would go back for dinner, but the rooms are not worth the price.
Lovely dinner! They prepared a special vegetarian main dish for me which was delicious. The lemon risotto cake was my favorite!

We arrived a bit before our reservation but were seated immediately. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Our waiter greeted us, and shared some menu information, then left us to our decision. The menu is straightforward and offered excellent selections that met a variety of tastes. The food service was effecient and timely. We chose scallop, halibut, tortellini, and lamb. Each perfectly prepared and served. The wine pairings were great fun due the uncommon varietals served; gurwerztraminer, gruner vetliner, and others. We enjoyed the wines very much. We would have preferred the sommelier be more engaged, but he was very busy. Expensive, of course, but we enjoyed it.
Very disappointing for the price. Lovely grounds and pools and setting but do not take rooms in the old farmhouse. Noisy, small and not comfortable. Way overpriced.

There is a quality of timeless elegance about the farmhouse inn as if it were taken out of an old movie set. the food is fresh, wholesome, and beautifully prepared, and the service is sweet and gentle while attentive and knowledgeable. the establishment itself is far away from anyplace one is likely to be, so getting to and from dinner (and finding parking) is a bit of a chore, but the whole dining experience is so special as to make it worthwhile.

My wife and I visited Farmhouse for our anniversary and were very happy with our stay. The staff was friendly and well spoken. The menu was diverse and very delicious. We look forward to returning.
Best hotel room ever Ive ever had. Jacuzzi and steam room in our bathroom! Heated floors! Beautiful fireplace. They also have complimentary smores with homemade marshmallows. Everything was amazing except the wifi was spotty for us and we didnt get any cell reception.
Michael in the restaurant made our experience one of the best yet. What an amazing place.

Amazing staff with cozy accommodations
We were so disappointed with this hotel. The room interiors were stylish but apart from that everything was not at all what you would expect sadly. For the price we paid for the top grade of room (over $1000 per night) it was certainly not worth it. It felt like a slightly more upmarket basic motel situated just off a main road. We were originally put in a ground floor room at the back of the property (but moved) which was incredibly dark and the deck was literally in the woodland with hardly any light during the daytime. Not to mention it was very noisey as you could hear the generator in the room even with the doors closed. Its not peace and quiet on the property which is what you would expect. The restaurant was very disappointing and the breakfast even more so, cold eggs 2 out of 3 days and messed up orders. The hotel did apologise by leaving us a bottle of sparkling wine in our room but we returned it when we checked out. You also have to book in breakfast time the day before which is pretty annoying. The pool was nice but pretty basic, loungers comfy. No bar facilities at all so you could not get a drink which was a real shame. For the price Id certainly expect a bar somewhere on the property. The hairdryer didnt work properly as it would go in and out of being on the highest setting and the shower head rail kept on falling off. We also had cleaners in early during breakfast and came back with equipment everywhere in the room. They should clean at a reasonable hour a
