Good place overall. But it is a little difficult for an average man to complete the puzzle in an hour. Youd want to go there again. Go with a group of 8 and its fun. Youd get your private space and itll be a lot fun. The staff is also friendly and the place is good for the price. There are a couple more escape room spots around this area which I could say are better but this one wont be booked even on weekend as I had seen.

This place was a lot of fun. We chose the Cabin story and it was apparently one of the more difficult ones while the 8 of us were novices. It had a really interesting storyline and was set up perfectly.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! You will be disappointed. There are many awesome escape room experiences around the area, but this is definitely not one of them. There were problems with the room. The staff was indignant and rude. When you asked about the problems, you were given some BS answer about how you should have known about them. I would definitely NOT recommend going to this escape room. Escapology in Garwood is awesome and The Amazing Escape Room in Green Brook are both way better options.

Went here with family (group of 7, ages 22+) and loved it! It was my first escape room experience.Very friendly and clean.Note: we did the Mad Hatter (easier) room. We did succeed but it was close! There are two other rooms that were apparently harder (I believe one was a heist). Staff claimed the rooms are updated every couple of months so I do look forward to returning.Decent size “escape” area, especially for 7 people, with multiple puzzles involved. If you do get stuck you have the option to use up to 3 clues in the time allotted.Recommend groups of 4 or more.

I have never done a review on any kind of place that I have been to because its not really my thing. But this Escape Room was an awesome experience. It was my first real life escape room, I always play these games on my phone and Im addicted to them, I love a good puzzle! Me and my girlfriend booked a room as a couple on a Tuesday. We did The Cabin. Unfortunately we were not able to complete the puzzle in time but everything worked very well. There was only one guy working there when we showed up, his name was Eric. He was extremely helpful and really helped us get into the experience with the backstory that he gave us and always helped us out with hints when we asked. He said we got about 70% of the room done. Definitely gonna go back sometime next week and complete the Cabin and do all of the other rooms. I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys puzzles as much as I do!

The workers were very rude when handling a problem with us. When I was just about to find a clue in a big heavy wooden door the nails came off the walls and when I shook it a little, thinking it could open. It would’ve fallen on me if someone wouldn’t have caught it. They said they had a problem with the wall and couldn’t use the room multiple times until the manager came but then after the manager came, he said we could’ve used the room after 5 minutes. The employees were a bit racist to us and spoke very slowly, thinking like we couldn’t understand. When we were getting our refund they only gave us three peoples pay and in the beginning we payed for 5 people. I recommend to never come here unless you want to lose some money.

Awesome experience! Our group didnt escape, but the puzzles were a lot of fun, and the staff was very friendly and gave us the option of explaining how to solve everything we didnt solve. Definitely recommend doing it with a group of friends

The employee came to see us and realized he already sent 5 persons in the room we were supposed to do, he just did a super quick presentation and sent us in that room that already had started. We were 10 in a room that would have been fun with 5 people really... A bit of a factory

My family came up to jersey from Georgia for a funeral in the afternoon and to lighten the mood we all decided to do an escape room. We had 8 people total. Four of us were literally 3 minutes late (literally 3 minutes. We saw the clock. It would’ve been on time if it wasn’t for traffic which is out of our control) and we couldn’t go in and there’s no refund. Three minutes????? As soon as we came in the owner was hostile towards us. the owner raised his voice thinking “sir” would eliminate his tone and body language in telling us we couldn’t go in but he was loud and flailing his arms around as if people were cursing him out or threatening him. He said things like “let me ask you a question - did you read the terms and conditions?” “Let me ask you a question, if this was a flight, would you hold the plane for 3 minutes”. Later from the family members who did go in, we found out we DID get there in time they hadn’t even started the game and there were only two other people apart of the game. That means if my family backed out, there would only be two people in the room and the required minimum is 4. Also, he never asked the group if they would mind waiting five minutes. That could’ve been a simple solution. He even said to my family “if they walk in right now, I’m not letting them in” so he was determined to not let us in. On top of that, their rooms didn’t properly work. It’s funny how someone made a review they were let in a little late but three minutes was completely unacceptable. He eventually gave us vouchers for another visit but it was given with remarks like “I hear your family and to be honest they’re having a great time”. He claims he wants the customer happy but it’s all talk. If he allowed the game to stop for one of the family members to come outside and allowed him back in the game, how come we couldn’t go in to do the room three minutes late when they didn’t even start the game? So there are many other escape rooms in the area, I recommend going to one where they understand people are humans, not numbers and you’re treated with kindness and respect. And even though we are from the area, we will not be going there again because vouchers cannot excuse the way the owner treated us.

As of January 20, 2020 this place closed down. On the website it says you can still book a room. DON’T BOOK A ROOM!

It was amazingMy first time ever,I will never forget it

I can only speak for national treasure. While the staff is very good the room is poorly designed. I love the concept of how they start you off but if you go into that room you will quickly see why most will fail. My friends and myself go to plenty of escape rooms and we have our fair share of fails but the best way to describe this room is a crossword puzzle. Good luck at guessing the right answer.

Played there new game and I was really impressed. The room looked stunning and the game master was great, giving us hints at the perfect time

Don bring people that cant work together but its a good place to have funn for all ages

Great, everything was awesome just needed a little something extra but otherwise it was so fun. We did the Alice in Wonderland one. Recomend doing it with friends and family. Really wracks your brain. The worker was friendly too!

The staff is awesome! The museum heist was difficult but it was my first experience, so maybe I just wasnt prepared. We are going again to try national treasure!

The medium difficulty Museum Heist could have been designed better. Clues were pretty impractical to figure out. You might have fun but as someone who has been to others, it was not well thought out.

The staff started out very polite and helpful— but that’s not how it ended. The instructions given to us in the beginning were very vague and incomplete. In regards to opening locks and figuring out puzzles, when we did what was instructed prior to starting using the correct sequence or codes— nothing happened. We wasted over 10minutes on one puzzle even though we had the correct passcode. We were told to hit # after all keypad codes— we did! Only to be told that we should NOT press # AT THE END. (Let’s make believe that was told to us, shouldn’t any subsequent digits after the passcode be ignored?— esp when the code is only a certain number of digits) After the escape room ended, we expressed our frustration with how we followed their instructions ONLY TO BE TOLD IT WAS WRONG— the owner was more defensive than helpful. Being that we were one of the first groups to experience the room, the owner should have taken the constructive criticism rather than get defensive and argue back. We have all done over 10 escape rooms and have a good understanding of the concepts and challenges. We will never return.

The first time I went here was fine and we had a great time. The second time the staff was unhelpful and not very polite. I dont think I would come back.

Was super uncompromising when it came to being late. I got caught in traffic and they refused to hold the room or refund my money. Dont bother with this place because they dont value their customers.

Uncompromising owner and policy for being late. After spending close to $300 and being 3 minutes late, my party was not allowed to enter the room or get a refund. Ive never experienced this other location.
