Drove through the Lakeside Park in Fond du lac. The park is so lit up.... very beautiful. They have a terrific light show to watch at the end. Very beautiful terrific light show. Will be going there alot this Christmas season

This park has so much to offer from an endless number of bridges and paths, to a lighthouse, and even a petting zoo with a train for the youngns. Located next to the lake, the weather is often nice. I spent a very pleasant afternoon walking around and enjoying everything.

Another magical Christmas dancing lights show! We wanted to do the drive by parade, but I think everyone in Fond duLac was also there and the line was miles long. But the lights were amazing

Love this place from my childhood. Plenty of room, lots of bbqs and tables. Playground, train, and other rides. Petting zoo, deer. So much right on the waterfront. Lighthouse

I was there biking early spring it was just a perfect weather. I love the fact that it’s not a overly commercialized town. There good biking space, enough just about enough people around. Just about my kind of place.

Beautiful setting. Free park on the southern tip of the lake. Has restroom and picnic facilities. Ample parking available on the Tuesday in July when we were there. Would love it if there was a beach but you dont have to go too far to the east side of the lake for several beaches. Only negative was the goose droppings covering large sections of the grassy areas. Watch your step.

Beautiful place to visit. Path to walk and bike. We saw wedding parties talking pictures.

This place is so pretty and peaceful! Butterflies, birds, lots of water, gorgeous views. Definitely worth the stop as we passed through!!

Trump stronghold if you are a minority u will get the look place vibe feels awful reminded me of Ga. ALabama the Carolinas !! We just visit the light house and left nothing really to see there anyways

Very nice park, there is a nice walking trail. They have 5 deer. Right off of lake winnebago. One of the largest trees Ive seen in this area. A carousel for the kids, splash pad, and play scape. Fountain, boat launch, canoe kayak rental. There is also a covered wooden bridge and a few other bridges.

Its a beautiful place soon to be enhanced with upgrades in a remodeled pavilion, small restaurant, heritage exhibits, small amphitheater, ice skating rink and boardwalk. Im really looking forward to the improvements which will benefit generations to come!Thank You Fond du Lac!

So much to do there from zip line, 5-6 play ground structures, splash pad, amusement park, lake and beautiful views.

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon here with our Granddaughter! Most things are free, except for ride tickets.Even those were very inexpensive.We had so much fun feeding the ducks&deer.There were so many adorable fawns.Our Granddaughter had a blast!Looking forward to spending a lot more time @Lakeside Park!

I love Lakeside Park. I was sad to hear about construction by the lighthouse that they want tear out and put in a restaurant. The lighthouse is where everybody loves to visit and look out at the beautiful water

This was my first time visiting Lakeside Park. If you live in Wisconsin or if you are planning a trip to Wisconsin this is a must visit! First off the people in Fond Du Lac are the nicest and kindest people in the State! Second Lakeside Park is Beautiful, Clean and a place where you can take your family! Go up to the top of the lighthouse! The view is Beautiful and the history they share as you walk to the top is absolutely divine!!!!!

Great spot. My favorite Wisconsin park so far. Located on Lake Winnebago. Known for Walleye Weekend which is a huge fishing tournament. Lighthouse that you can go up and observe.

Beautiful clean park lake , there are kiddy Rides lots of beaches , Shaded areas lots of trees and gorgeous Lake a light House you can visit. Clean bathrooms ,plenty of free parking .

This is an amazing park for kids of any age. There is a new splash pad for the summer, an infant and toddler playground, 2 bigger playgrounds, a zipline, lots of swings, a sandpit, and more attractions across the street like a petting zoo, carousel, and a little train ride around the park (the last two u need to buy tickets for)

Lakeside Park is very lovely place to go you can seat or walk and watch the Segall Ducks and their little ones swimming in the lake watch the boats and the concerts they have with the snack store open with lots of refreshments the lights house that looks over the lake the stairs are unique when you get to the top you will very much enjoy it especially if its your first time up there you have the merry-go-round the train the scoop where you can get more refreshments and right beside there you have the big play ground where all the little ones can enjoy theirs self also benches their for parents to sit to watch their little ones

Big park! Lots of walking area, beachfront,no swimming,lots of boats

Lots of area to explore run and play. Easily could see spending a whole day here or more. The amount of people the park can handle though can be overwhelming if youre accustomed to smaller less frequented parks. Much of the parking is also curbside without lots.

I counted close to ten different play structures, five sets of swings, also has expansive field and long walking path

This is a very large beautiful park. There are many places to park and hike but we just parked at the lighthouse and hiked the length. Nice views of the lake, a little deer park, covered bridge, and some huge cottonwood trees complete the package. Its wonderfully peaceful (except for the occasional rude motorcycle with blasting music) but we will definitely be back. Blacktop paved paths definitely helped keep the mosquitoes at bay. Nice place. Highly recommend!

Large and beautiful park right on the lake. Views are great and there is always something to do with any age group.

Beautiful Park right by the lake and a marina...hence the name. The inland moat is beautiful too with many flower beds and foot bridges.

Theres no social distancing or mask usage. Seems like a great place to spend an afternoon, should make a stop post Covid

Beautiful large park. Playground, acres of lawns with picnic tables, a petting zoo, a football field, multiple volleyball courts, a soccer field, gazebos, etcetera. Other than the smell of fish, its great. My wife and I spend a few hours every week just walking through the park with our daughter.

Great walking paths, bridges (including a covered one, excellent photo opportunity), lighthouse, grandstand, and views of the lake. Would have spent more time there, but it was too early in the year, still very chilly with a strong wind. Could easily spend an afternoon there in slightly warmer temperatures. And there are deer you can feed. They come right up to the fence.

This was a beautiful park. I could has stayed the entire day.

Place was cool, the light house was also a cool thing. Never feed deer before, was a cool thing. Want to go back when its summertime.

Great areas to fish, walk, and enjoy Lake Winnebago either from shore or on top of the lighthouse. We always enjoy the park, rides, and petting zoo in the summer. The addition of a concession stand by the playground is very convenient. The playground is suitable for kids of all ages too!

So fun! Visit with my toddler and we loved this park! Several playground sets based on increasing age, several options for my toddler, spray grounds, petting zoo and train ride. Tickets are incredibly cheap and a perfect activity for little ones!! We will definitely be back!

This is my favorite spot! The Loop goes through the park so its great for walking or biking.

Love the added zip line a few yrs ago. Overall just a nice place to go for a walk any time of the year. If youre into Pokemon Go, there are plenty of stops etc. Good fishing for the most part. I know recently (years) the parks no parking areas seemed to have increased. And now you cant seem to hang out here real late at night. When I was younger this was a huge hangout. If all the places to hang out get closed off to teens, there wont be anywhere to go. As far as animals, the deer are friendly, geese droppings abundant. But I dont mind. Its their park too. Change/wash shoes later.

Love the new Splash Pad. Fountains and sprinklers for the little ones to run through. Located in the large play area across from the train and carousel. Great alternative for smaller children instead of the pool. The grandkids had a great day at the park between the rides, the Splash pad and the plaground equipment.

Light show every year!

Lakeside Park is the best park around!! It has a mini zip line even my 3 year old loves. They recently added a splash pad which is great for summer! Petting zoo, train and several play areas. Great place for a picnic.

What a beautiful place! Sadly the lighthouse was closed for the season when we arrived Nov. 1st. That would have been nice to see the view from the top. The many bridges throughout the park adds a lot of character. The bathrooms were impressively clean for a public park. The snow made it extra special. I was surprised there wasnt any signs telling the name of the lake. After asking local residents we found out it is called Winnebago Lake. They have a nice playground for the kids, too.

Very nice waterside park with amenities and facilities to please most everyone. There is a light house in the park, walking bicycling trails, various sports courts, picnic areas, covered shelters in a picturesque tree filled surroundings. Many programs are offered during the summer to fit multiple tastes. On fourth of July, a fireworks display is a big favorite.

What a great park to take the kids to. Excellent Christmas light displays. Also a wonderful place to fish.

The park is beautiful, clean and well taken care of. There is the occasional riff-raff but you would probably find that at every park.

I have a question, does anyone know if this park is open at the moment, been here before and loved it, would like to go again sometime soon here

Though it was cold, the view was spectacular. We hope to see more beauty as the seasons change. We saw many beautiful sitting areas, beautiful gazeebo, beautiful lighthouse and so much more.

We LOVE Lakeside Park! Theres so much to do! A HUGE playground with endless play options, even a Zipline for kids! Theres also the petting zoo for free, a train ride, a spin ride and a carousel... All $1 per ticket rides, only one ticket needed. If thats not enough, walk along the shoreline or go check out the lighthouse! Bathrooms are huge too and in great shape for public bathrooms.

Great park but they are now open amid the pandemic and I saw no masks or cleaning of the playground and train. No effort at all to follow guidelines.

Want fresh air and amazing scenery with all seasons? This is the place for you! If youre there, the lighthouse is the best place to be at. You can see everything from up there and the scenery is breathtaking!

I have visited this place on Sundays mostly with my grand kids. Love the amusement park here and very reasonably price. Zoo & rides are very amazing. Landscapes are beautiful. They did a great job on designing this park
