Personally I love it. But will you. Thats the big question. If you being small children along there is not much to do. The gym is always filled with basketball players and the pool is very small compared to most ymcas I have been to. If your over 16 this place is great. They have a very nice workout room upstairs for people over 16. They also have bike and yoga classes in the basement. Overall if your a little but over and/or like basketball its a pretty cool place. Staff us very friendly.

Clean and well appointed. Was in town for a couple of days and had no issues getting a day pass to get a training session in before heading for home. They even have a deadlifting platform and bumper plates!

The temperature of the water needs to be warmer. I stopped coming alone for lap swims and taking my kids because its so dang cold in the water and the locker rooms. All three of my children wont keep up with their swim lessons here because of the water temp.Wouldnt consider another family membership until they can change this.

We go a few times a year to swim, we have an good time, the biggest problem is the temperature of the water and the locker rooms. It doesnt take very long for my kids to get blue lipped and shivering, and then we have to walk into the arctic locker rooms and use the showers to try to warm up.

Love the classes offered, and the swimming pool is great.

After the new exec director came on board I started receiving fundraising e-mails non stop. I e-mailed the Communications Dir and asked if I could be removed from the fundraising e-mails. She stated that this could not be done without removing me from all e-mails and then she proceeded to remove me from the database entirely without asking me first if this was what I wanted. I felt that this interaction had a retaliatory tone and I am disappointed that a staff member in a leadership position would treat a member this way. I am cancelling my membership.

Overall fun place to hang out

Great place to workout and connect with friends, family, and community. Clean facility, friendly staff, great programs, and good machines. Sunday hours and 10pm closing on weekdays can make it difficult to get there.

I dont know if it was just this lady but she was extremely rude and demanding.

This place has the best fitness classes. The Les Mills classes are incredible. The instructors really give it their all. Best fitness choice I ever made!!!!

This Y soars above the typical YMCA. The building, equipment, and technology are very up to date. You get this warm, welcome feeling when you walk in and it continues through your entire visit. There is a lot to offer with 2 gyms, 3 fitness studios, racquetball courts, fitness center, aquatics, personal training, etc. They even have 5 Les Mills classes making this an excellent place for group exercise. The child care drop in is terrific and its sometimes hard to get my kids to leave! I typically see a member of the executive staff on duty even on Saturdays! Membership rates are some of the lowest I have seen for a Y. Always look forward to coming here...

The is very fun

Its a good place to be lots to do. A lot of equipment and much more. Only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because there is no need to have a dress code at a public place there is also no need to get dress coded for showing a 1/3 of ur stomach this is a gym not school. I find it very dumb there is a dress code it is very unnecessary. People want to show that they feel comfortable showing there skin. I know theres limits and I think everyone knows there limits im pretty sure no one will dress super inappropriate.

Small when comparing to gyms in other locations but it is clean. It has a decent free weight setup but again missing some things you would see at larger gyms. They have just about everything you need when it comes to variety of activities to do.

Best gym in the area. Largest variety of equipment. Clean. Best gym Ive ever used by far out of atleast a dozen in two states.

Didnt offer a guest pass to try out their facility. Their day passes are two to three times more expensive then every other Y Ive been to in the state. They dont have shower towels. They charge you extra to use their racquetball equipment, a free amenity at every other Y in the area. I would suggest using the Ys in Oshkosh or KML if possible instead.

I can’t even take a shower without being accused of being in the same shower with my girlfriend when I was not and that I went into hers fully clothed to get my hair gel and just because I did that they think I was in hers rude people don’t listen to what we had to say

LMC has a lot of equipment and is well staffed. Locker rooms are clean.

Feeling thankful that people who work out at the YMCA are good and honest people! My husband lost his wallet at the Y and it was turned in and his money, credit cards and gift cards were still in his wallet.

We have been a member for over a month and I personally feel that it is clean and the staff friendly. The pool is clean, unlike mentioned in a different review, and the equipment new.

Membership process is extremely slow. The staff are okay. Not much gym space compared to other YMCA locations. Customer service could use a bit of work.
