Its a nice store! The customer service is always very kind and they have a wide variety of crafting supplies. I enjoy getting drawing supplies here, because I know theyll always have what I need. Unfortunately the quality of some of their items, such as the holiday decorations and the kids aisle has gone down over the past couple of years, but everything else seems to remain consistent.

Has EVERYTHING! But kinda pricey (though they have good deals) and always very busy, long lines.

I found everything I needed but whenever I call about a certain product they always say it’s out of stock but they have the item when I walk in I’m not sure if they even checked because they’re very quick to answer so I’m not sure if they’re just being lazy or what’s going on in the store but I give it four stars because everything is good quality and mostly good price.

Stranger to the area. Stopped in to fit an odd shaped piece of work. Edward was amazing. Was very helpful and made great suggestions. Helped me put it together on the spot. Didnt flinch no matter how many question I asked.

This is a good location. Not super big but situated around a lot of good shopping.

My go to for art supplies when I need them quick. Theres more to be seen than just brushes, ink, and paint though, you can find small wood working projects, fabric, and tons more. Staff is excellent and helpful, there hasnt been a question Ive asked that they could not answer. For the few things Ive asked if they carry (which Michaels didnt unfortunately) I was provided with a local shop that carried it. These are a few reasons I make Michaels my go to.

I always have good service when I go to Michaels however today the young lady that checked me out appeared to be a little distracted. She seemed to be looking everywhere but giving me, as a customer, her attention. When I handed her the money, its like she really didnt want to touch it...and when she handed me the receipt she held it from a corner and held it out to me as it dangled... just not sure what was going on there. Anyways that being said, you always have in stock when Im looking for thank you.

Jennifer has the best service. Was very kind hearted, talkative, and had a bright genuine smile. Ive had problems with different workers there, but she was a really kind character. Im glad to know that theres someone there who treats their customers well and is helpful/informative. Thanks to her, Im more confident at shopping at this location.

The place can get a little confusing at times, because they dont always stick things where youd expect them. But the staff is always ready to help. They are friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about a variety of different crafts.

I always swear Im going to take a quick peek into our local Michaels. As a crafter, theres no such thing as a quick look. If you need it, theyve got it . Even if you dont need it, youll find some new item that will launch you off into a new project.

Materials for any craft you can imagine however it was very difficult to find anyone to help you. We wanted an item that was security locked to the display rack. We stood there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come help us and the store only had maybe a dozen customers at the time.

They always come thru when i am in a pinch with last minute clever ideas for projects and holiday decorations too

Nice place and looks to be well organized. Only drawback is some things can be pretty pricey. But they will probably have what your looking for.

I dont know about anyone else but my experience was great! Came in thinking I knew where to go if I just followed the signs. I didnt have to follow signs. There were literally customer service people walking around making sure everyone got to what they were looking for. I was asked if I needed help from one thing to the next. Im not a shopper I hate to shop but this made me feel comfortable and at ease. More than likely to come back to get more crafty. Great job guys and gals.

This is one of the better Michaels. A wide range of supplies, very nicely organized, with a hardworking staff. They unfortunately dont sell wax paper, but thats not the fault of the location.

Shopping for one frame that displays two 4x6 photos. Michaels has the best selection of frames that I have seen in Folsom; so happy to find exactly what I wanted!

One of the cashiers screwed up the total for our items because we used some coupons. We checked over the receipt again and found a mistake. We ended up paying more than we needed to so we went and found someone who can help us that was not the casheir that messed up the total. It was still mess up AFTER that and we still payed more than we were supposed to. We went to Joannes and had a much better experience and they scanned our coupons AND found more coupons on some of the items we got.

Horrible. One cashier and I was in line for over 8 mins before I walked out. Not the cashiers fault the customer had her price check at least 8 things. The only thing I wish she would of called for help

It is so dysfunctional messy at this location. Each time Ive gone the mess has just been more and more unruly. The staff are barely helpful, barely pleasant, and they leave out objects that make it hard for customers to walk around with ease. Ill be buying all my art supplies online from now on.

Anything you or your kids need or want for any craft or school project

I find this store frustrating almost every time I go. Not at the employees who all seem to be nice, not really at the pricing. Mainly at the deals. In my mind its not often I need two of the exact same large picture frames. Buying 1 for 29.99 and getting another either free of for $5 more leaves me believing the frames cost them so little that at $15 each they are still making a good profit. I just want 1 at a good price. But when buying 2 the deal takes place. I dont need 2. I dont want 2 but I hate wasting money and if Im giving someone enough $ for 2 then I guess I will take two and store them with the other three I already have in garage.

I dont like the layout of this store. It seems backwards, also has a very small selection of regular home decor and ALOT of seasonal items. I also noticed I was not approached by one single employee the 3 times I have been in. No one asked if I needed help finding anything. Which is unusual for a Michaels store.

Has most of the crafts that you need, from shirts to canvasses and not to mention various deals that can save you quite a bit of money. Definitely the best craft store around even if its missing some things here and there.

This store is great. Kind of what you see is what you get but there is a lot. They have a nice selection of paints and brushes. They also have a kids area that has crafts and kids safe paint there. Kind of expensive to get something framed but in the big picture its expensive anywhere...also always season related so nice for people who are into to decorating. Good prices on art supplies.
