It was a good place to see some pieces of history. Parking in the rear off of the adjacent street.

Highly recommend it! Be sure to take the guided tour! The docents are a treasure and without their gift of story, it wouldnt be the same experience. Awesome place!

This is a very interesting piece of history. Mr Higgins is full of information about the house and the town. They have a good collection of civil war items and other displays from that time period. Our whole family enjoyed our trip here.

Wayne was our guide for the tour of this small but very interesting museum. He provided information about the area, and about the items in the museum. He was able to tailored his talk to our level of interest by our questions but he also challenged us to think if our history knowledge.

Was a nice visit, less memorabilia than we expected, tour guide was very nice. A lot of history in a little place that could probably be more correctly preserved.

Very quaint piece of history. Full of interesting antiques and stories you can get up close to. Wayne was a fabulous guide.

Nice museum, with some interesting things to look at. Good for local history especially 19th century. The docent was friendly and well informed.

Hours of operation stated the place was open, yet doors were locked. Waited approximately an hour, no one ever showed.

Great site for local civil war history. The guide was very informative - I highly recommend taking the tour w a guide.

Great place to come back and vist. Learned more interesting facts. The Curator here was very helpful and answer what questions we had. Visted first time in fourth grade on a field trip came back today and learned more. New item from last time too.worth a vist.

Excellent local history museum, and curator working the day we visited was extremely helpful knowledgeable friendly.
