I didnt know what I was doing as this was my first time. However, my first experience was awesome due to the help I received. This is a nice place to explore your creativity!

Well my first experience with painting pottery was today. Myself, my 2 grandchildren ages3 and 6, along with a friend and her 12 year old niece went to Clay Bisque. The atmosphere was nice and the music was relaxing. However the lady who was working today was to say the least almost rude. I guess I should have just left but the kids were excited so we stayed. We picked out pieces after asking for some guidance. Then she gave us our pieces and without telling us anything other than be sure to wash the brushes before changing paints we began not really knowing what to do. I showed her the bowl and the polka dots we wanted but she never gave us any to make those with. As we were finishing up we noticed that there were stencils, foam brushes etc that we should have been told about that would have definitely helped make our items prettier. Just not happy with this experience at all. Paid for my items and will pick them up when ready but don’t think I will go back.
