Ive been going to this park since I was a kid whenever we would travel to Flagstaff. They remodeled the playground extensively which my kids love. All of the grass and trees make for great picnics. The only suggestion I have would be to add bathrooms. Its super helpful to have bathrooms when you families with little kids.

When you can got to a new park with three kids and their imaginations and all of them have wonderful things to say about it, thats a win. Upon hanging out for a little over an hour my children drove a fire truck, navigated a lava pit(in their minds but actually stayed off the ground while navigating multiple playground structures), formed a band, and rode a dinosaur! Id say thats a pretty solid hour of intense adventure! To make it better, the park also houses four tennis courts, a basketball court, a volleyball pit, and an extensive group of hiking trails, not to mention the ample open spaces and the plethora of picnic tables. What an incredible hidden wonderland for a family to explore together!

Very big park with a lot of different places: baseball fields, tennis courts, pond for fishing, dog park, trails, children playgrounds, etc. It is nice even to walk from one place to another. A lot of people playing discgolf here. I like this place a lot.

We went fishing, sadly not catching, with our boys at the duck pond here. Its a lovely pond with picturesque lighting in the evening. Theres lots of ducks, geese and a zillion mosquitoes... I guess as to be expected near a pond. Pack the bug spray. Gallons of it.

Great little spot. Fun play things for kids and as a bonus on a quiet day an adult can play with their various musical instruments. There are separate play areas for the toddler and the bigger kids and there are plenty of ramadas here with picnic tables for large events. This park also has tennis courts.

If you go to the downtown of flagstaff and want to stop somewhere to relax you body, this will be a great place to stop. There is some atractions for childs and also they have a tennis court. Also you have acces to the tables if you want to eat something that you bring or if you want to walk between the threes there is like a small path near the parking lot. Also near by is the observatory that you can take a look if you have the chance(closed during COVID-19, ask firts).

I only go to this park for the dog park portion of it, so this rating is focused on that aspect of the park. The dog runs are spacious and clean. Most people are very attentive to cleaning up after their dogs. Being close to the college, youll find a lot of people there at various times throughout the day, and at other times its nearly empty. But Ive never gone when there wasnt at least one dog in the run. People are generally very friendly and look out for their dogs. There is a smaller run and a very large run, both with ample shade. Youll want to bring your own water for the dogs, especially in the cooler months when the fountains are shut off. As far as cleaning up after your pets, take some baggies with you or use the scoopers they have placed around the run for that purpose. If you want to practice agility training with your dog, there is plenty of well maintained equipment at the far end of the park where you wont be bothered too much because people and their dogs generally hang out around the middle or other end. There are a few picnic tables and benches for you to sit at, most of them in the shade. There is a Port-a-Potty near the dog runs if needed, but no way to wash your hands. Ample parking is available, but may be lessened if you go when theres a ball game.Overall, we enjoy this park and visit it whenever we are on that side of town. It gets only four stars from me because of the lack of restroom facilities nearby and because of how crowded it can be at times. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, but my dog doesnt like the crowds too much. My last dog would have loved it, though, so its a highly relative thing.
