The Museum is CLOSE during winter. I hope the can update their information. But the place look fantastic from the outside, like old barracks buildings.

Wonderful little museum! Plan on minimum 1 hour if you just scan thru, 2 hours if youre really interested in the facts because every square inch of the walls and then some is covered with artifacts and information! The 158th has been helping Arizona and the world since before Arizona was a state! The volunteers were both encyclopedias of info, and both had roots with the fort. Wonderful bits from battling natives and establishing a new culture to Afghanistan is covered in these two buildings, GREAT for the history buffs!!!!!

This is a must see while in Flagstaff. The displays of the history of the 158th Battalion are excellent along with the volunteers. Dont miss it.

Great ramada and tree covered area. We had 60 people and had plenty of room. The area next to the ramada had a horseshoe pit, as well as open areas that we used for corn hole, yarts, and frisbees. They also had a basketball court. Area was clean when we got there. Electricity was locked up, but we didnt need it. There was a porta-john in the parking lot...not great but there when it was needed. Clean inside. Lots of parking. I liked the fact that there were recycle bins as well as plenty of trash containers. Nice big tables....6 of them that seated 6 to 8 people comfortably. We will use this location again. Friendly staff who helped if needed, but not in our way.
